"Nice to meet you, Satoshi" he said, then watched as one of the other Nin came over and showed scrolls. In response to Satoshi's other question, he said "I was escorting a caravan of our famous Insomniac Tea, which can only be made in the Sand, here as a gift from the Kazekage. It's my first out of village mission, so I'm a bit excited. So, it looks like a lot of training is going on here, huh? Back home not a lot of the Jounin teach the Gennin, they're left to fend for themselves." He shook his sleeve again in the direction of Satoshi, as if he was shaking off some of the moisture, and there was an inaudible click. Lowering his arms, he stood up and stretched a little once more, then took a swig of Insomniac Tea from a flask on his belt. Offering it to Satoshi, he said "Here's some of our tea. Careful, it's strong enough to make you fall asleep after one cup."

"So I am told" he said as he accepted the fish. "Unfortunately, for some reason I'm not affected by it's affects. Nonetheless, I find it a pleasurable drink." Taking a bite of the dried fish, he tasted the mixed flavors of the seaweed, salt, and fish, quite a new experience for him. Smiling, he quickly devoured the rest of the fish and said "Delicious!" Taking a look at the sun, he noted it's position and said "Well, thank you very much. If you could kindly direct me back to the hot springs, I have a room there but I can't remember the way back." He found this experience quite enjoyable, and was glad he had been sent on this mission.

[Bloodline Class: -1 Post]
"Na' what was that technique? Hmm..." Makoto mused to himself while trying to recall what it exactly was that he wanted to learn in the first place. He'd studied the scroll from the academy completely and committed it to memory, so he knew majority of the hand seals required for the lower level techniques he just needed to decided where to start. He began to trail through his memory banks and perform a string of seals very slowly.
[1/4]
The more he rehearsed the seals the more it all started to come back to him. "Ah, that's the one. Tsubame Fubuki." He expressed in a brief moment of clarity, now that he knew the name of the technique all the seals would come back to him completely. He increased his hand speed, a luxury added by the fact he could perform any technique with one hand.
[2/4]
He slowly exhaled and brought up a portion of his chakra, it finally time to get down to business. He had the hand speed down, now it was time to see what he could do with it. He performed the seals for the final time, releasing a short burst of chakra from his body. He raised up his left hand, extending his palm outward
[3/4]
What resulted was a small flock of small bird shaped projectiles (about 10) forged from ice emerging and sailing forward. He altered the paths slightly by creating wind currents with his all of his fingers. Makoto controlled his sparrows downward into the cliff from which the falls poured and they into the rock deeply, a testament to their sharpness. He whistled from the sound of the ice slicing through the rock. "Na' that's impressive."

Siden did as he was instructed and that lasted only a few moments because he saw that Makoto was already moving onto his own training. "Sensei, while we wait, I'm gonna do some training on my own too." He gave a thumbs up with his left hand and reached back to the Highwind and held it.
In a fluid motion he hurled it into the ground ten feet away or so. "Time ta start now." He too had looked at his clan's jutsu scroll. They required no hand seals, but did require him to focus on what he wanted to do.
[1/4]
Siden flexed his arms and moved his body, cracking his back, neck and hands. It took only a moment to remember what he really wanted to do, but the focus to grow new points was a new thing for him. "Dance of the Larch...." He said as he focused on his ulna, radius, ribs, and spine. "A bit of a twist..." He grunted to himself as he focused on his bones.
[2/4]
One by one he moved down the list in his mind. First...The ulna and radius..... As he focused the bones in his arms protruded through his flesh creating two spikes from his elbows, that curved up his arms, and studs down his arms that curve forward. Next, my ribs.... He flexed his abdominal muscles and his shoulders and the bones extended out both his back and front, adding protection, the bones were like small spear heads emerging from his flesh and could look gruesome.
[3/4] Now for the most difficult....My spine..... He twisted and focused on each bone in his vertebral column creating a small canyon of white bone spikes that showed his spine's structure, adding extra protection once again. Siden exhaled loudly and breathed hard and slow. "Gotta move now, boy.... He spoke to himself, he felt his clan's bloodlust begin to rush over him, it felt good to use this ability.
[4/4] Siden began to succumb to his genetics and he could feel the need to utilize his jutsu now. He flexed all over again, and his eyes narrowed focusing in on the movements. He was in a small ten foot area moving through invisible opponents. At first the new structures over his body were hindering his speed, but he quickly over came this and looked as if he was born to do so...
(Karamatsu no Mai - Dance of the Larch learned - C-Rank)
Siden was exhausted from this jutsu and he stood with the bones protruding from his skin. He laughed to himself and began to feel the thirst for battle.

Mi was picky about choosing her techniques. As the others moved off to do their own things she selected the unique scrolls with a careful mind. To each their own. Finally settling on her draw, she moved towards Satoshi to show him her draw. Shunshin no Jutsu, Mizu Tate no JutsuMizu no Muchi and Mizukaisou Bunshin no Jutsu When she would finish was beyond her but she was a determined lass. Moving off to figure out things on her own, she walked away from the other two, putting enough distance between herself and everyone but staying in the immediate vacinity. Standing at the edge, where water met earth, she hesitated on stepping into the cold liquid. Taking a deep breath, she stripped off her shoes, headband, gloves and hitched up her kimono. Trudging into the water, she flinched at the cold but kept moving in order to warm up. She wadded in until she was submerged to the middle of her thighs. She was going to start with Mizu Tate no Jutsu. Fro reading carefully over the scrolls she had caught the basic instructions and pulled them out of her collective memory.
[1/4]The point of this jutsu was to raise a supply of water around the user as defensive action. The difficulty of this task was not exactly hard but was not exactly something to write off. Channeling her chakra around her she decided to try moving it to outline the skin of her body. Sweat formed at her brow as she tried focusing her efforts until they were percise. Gather more chakra into her hands, she reached out her arm and held it infront of her. Fingers twitching from her continued efforts, Mi scowled and let out a little snort as she lost concentration and her efforts were wasted. Opening her eyes the girl stared at the small point infront of her and tried again. Keeping her arm out before her, she closed her eyes and concentrated her chakra.
[2/4] Although her efforts before had been in vain, this time she had completley shut off the world around her, focusing on her and the water source around her. Using all of her sense she tried to become absolutely intune with her liquid source. Twitching her index finger, she beckoned to the water to rise, practically willing it to do so. The water rippled in response. It was enough to cause Mi to grimace as she tried desperately not to lose focus again. The water continued to churn as she beckoned to it with her chakra. A small sliver began to rise, joined by others as the joined into the original strand. From behind her now the water was churning and a few spots off towards the side, shooting up weak strands of water at first until they too began to gain in mass.
[3/4] It conintued to rise, gaining in shape and height as it proceeded to do so. Mi was begining to feel more comfortable with her percision in chakra amounts and opened her eyes, observing what she had created thus far. The stream of guided water was still massing together, its shape cylindrically tubed around her. Once she had gathered enough to supply her with a good enough respite of water, she moved her taught muscles in her arms, lifting the liquid in response. The water moved in accordance to her guidance, pleasing the pale girl to no extent.
[4/4] Feeling more confident in her grasp of the technique she let out a small huff and all of the chakra in her body cut off, the liquid plopping into it's original source around her. She wanted to try it a little more quickly now. Biting down on her bottom lip she repeated her steps. Mi channeled her chakra this time, without the help of her outstretched arm. Keeping her arms held to her sides she twitched her fingers, the water churning around her before shooting upwards, incasing her in a cylinder of bubbling liquid. Her barrier was not fool proof but was good enough to deter or slow down a blow that was thrown in surprise or was good enough to throw off the girls enemies. Flicking her wrists, she cut off the feed she had on the barrier, allowing it to fall back into the water, sending a large splash in all directions around her. Needless to say, Mi was soaked now. "One down.."The girl mused, not feeling exactly as exhubarant as she would have liked. Her teeth were chattering at this point and her feet and finger tips had gone numb. Shivering, she wadded back to the bank to look over the next scroll.

xxxxZayr the Iron Monk xxxx
"A man always keeps his promise, sir," Zay spoke with pride. He would never undermine his own word, for that was not how his master would run things, nor was it how a man should. He nodded with his goofy grin and aloof nature. It seemed the others were training, and something seemed to convey to him that he should be, as well. The scrolls in his sash seemed to call for him to open them, and begin working anew.
"Chunnin exams are right at our doorstep, I heard," Alzayr spoke eagerly. They would have to travel a long ways, and travels with his master had been within the confines of the land of Water mostly. He was certain there were ways for him to work out the training of his forms, but it was rather dull when it came to his actual bloodline. How boring could meditation prove?
"A man's soul wrought in iron!"
"Dance upon the edge of the Blade!"
