A letter from home; a summons for a crime: Solo RP

Ren was long gone by the time Sarias returned to the crumpled pile of letters, her head felt weightless, her skin warm to the touch and her mind abuzz with thoughts of him…uhh how she felt sick! Where was a dose of Icky when you needed one? If ever…

Sarias had already learnt her lesson for falling for boils who gave her the attention she so loved, first Gabriel, next Seiji and now Ren. All with ghoulfriends! Did she even find herself attracted to them? Or was it the lure of the chase? To get what she can’t or shouldn’t have? She didn’t know, didn’t care. They were all substandard applicants for her, the coven would never approve…maybe that was why she craved them so?

And talking of Coven.

Turning her attention to a more serious matter worse than death her hands enclosed around the edge of the parchment that had fallen of the bed. The imprint of her nails still ran down the page as she traced each word with her finger. “Oh boil” she tutted. This. Wasn’t. Good.

She read the last few lines again…and then again. No. She didn’t want that, didn’t want that at all! The Mother Verity was a spiteful b***h, the only thing that jacking whore could do in this mere existence was to continuingly piss her off! And now she had the perfect excuse to rain revenge down on her head. “A willingness to end the sacred oaths and cherished lineage” or how ever she had put it! How dare she! She would never do such a thing! The twin sisters who cared for her from a mere wisp of ectoplasm would have shouted her praises, would have tried every excuse in the book to explain her death! They must have! Or…had those nasty cows dropped her in it? Were they as bad as the Mother! She reminded herself to gain a few moments alone with them at the next Harvest moon.

Her shaking hands had found their way to her hair and they were tugging, hard and slow so the pain would rip at her scalp and feed her mind with something else to concentrate on. Sarias spat on the ground, a feverish headache threatening to consume her mind. She hated that The Mother had such an impact on her. But she wasn’t stupid. She was the next leader of the Eastern Coven, the most esteemed group next to the Weeping Scarlet Coven of the North. In place of the priestess in that Coven she spoke with her voice. Even if the b***h didn’t deserve the dirt Sarias walked in she still had authority over her. The punishment would match the crime, she couldn’t deny it any less than the air she floated on.

“Jacking jack!! Jack, jack, jack!” What could she do? Her stomach started to flip allowing the bile to constrict in her throat. Her legs were dangerously close to giving away beneath her as she reached out for a chair. The whimpers of her dogs were unheard as her mind swam. Why had she sent Ren away so soon? She needed someone to hold her still, her whole body shook with fear as she swallowed great gasps of air until hiccups accompanied her sobs.

“s**t…s**t s**t s**t.” Her nerves gone she collapsed into a heap at the base of chair, her body convulsed in pain and terror as she thought of what awaited her and all she could do was gasp and cry.

“Oh Goddess, please no...not the Mensa, not the mensa please...no not the mensa…
