but DHp1 did make me look forward to the next movie. what i remember from reading the book seemed mostly intact.

@Comfy- Y'know? I just got to that part last night, when rereading, and now I'm actually really upset it was omitted, too! I hope the movie doesn't try to leave Dumbledore as this immaculate, pure, God-like old man, since the latter two books were supposed to be a deconstruction of him and that aura surround him.

@KY- The first time I saw the film, that made me say "Uhm...Awkward...?" The second time, I laughed. Hard. The third time I saw it, I laughed even harder.

nexus: i went home and pulled out the book. i thought they were taking liberties, but most of it was all there!


and i would like some dumble/grindle action! or just dumbledore backstory. i'll settle for either, or both ^^

omg i think i would burst into hysterical laughter in the theatre.

i'm not saying they have to go all out. but heated glances would suffice.
