With no way of knowing who was who at this distance, Sypher decided to go with a general cover attack. Taking a stand that would be his point of attack for the duration of the time, Sypher started a string of hand signs "..." he thrust his hands into the ground, digging his fingers in and pushing chakra in. Roots began to stir and then burst from the ground, launching themselves in a writhing mass at the group of fighters. He didn't know who was an enemy from this distance, though the falling figure looked familiar a bit, so the roots would merely thrash and throw the fighters around if they connected. Sypher was keeping his distance, staying nearly 100ft from the fighting, and unless he was directly attacked, he would stay 100ft from the fighting.

When he was confident Syy had taken up his position, the Chuunin pushed forward, heading towards the main source. As they got closer the smell of smoke became heavy, the vegetation black and fires everywhere. It did nothing to deter the Hizara, heat and smoke were as fmaliar to him as the moist air of home. His clothes did not catch as he dashed over, and sometimes through, the smaller flames, not stopping on his way. A shadow passed over him, however, and glanced up into the air, spotting something larger circling through the black branches.
"..." Red eyes narrowed but he kept his gaze forward, weary. His body was tense, leaping threw and over flames, hands always close to his concealed weapons.
A whirlwind of blue fire descended from the sky miles away from Kumogakure no Sato, crashing down near the border between the Lightning Country and the Sound Country. With a crash, a demonic cat would emerge from the whirlwind, which would disperse into blue flower petals and float around on the breeze. Fires would sprout up at its feet, a bed of blue flame dancing in its shadow. The beast was not running at full capacity when it landed, but that seemed to change in an instant; within moments, its Chakra levels soared, almost as if it were fueled by something. The beast gave a mighty roar that would seem to shake the clouds themselves, whipping its tails through the air toward those who were pursuing it. Rivers of fire pulsated in the air along the arcs the tails traced, as if suspended by some unknown force.

the sudden arrival of the roots would certainly mess up the the formations of the soldiers, and the 4 who had just defended against Thanatos's attack were simply crushed to death, their armor vanishing from existence. The remaining soldiers, communicating via unknown methods, used a great deal of speed and agility to move between the roots or avoid them at all, and took off running to regroup elsewhere. With the fire demon here, this was a location they didnt want to be at all.
Meanwhile, the Hyuuga girl would site the new incommers, and the dragon would fire 2 bursts of wind for the approaching inka, and one for the wood user far off in the distance. the hyuuga would seek to engage thanatos as best she could, if he replies again, while the other larger male ninja performed another set of hand seals, and flew higher into the air to remain stationary, and exhaled 6 small but fast wind bullets for the arriving senju.

Unsure of what to do, Mi flanked her companions, coming in last. She did not like to barge into fights and least of all against what she was witnessing now. The other shinobi that were around, engaging in other shinobi, that was something sadly dismissed by the small white haired woman. It was the blue flames that seemed to cast blue shadows around the area that concerned her. Her gaze followed the flames to the source. A large cat emerged, Mi shocked. This is bad... It didn't take a lot of information to draw the lines and connect the dots. Kumogakure was suffering from a double siege. One from an aggressive unknown force and a demon, the latter the most important, troubling and powerful. Biting her thumb, she immediately thrust her hand to the ground. Intricate patterns appeared along her arms and parts of her face, matching a seal that had inked itself into nature itself. With a large plume of smoke, Katsuya was summoned. The huge slug took on an enormous size, matching the feral cat inch for inch. Mi jumped, jumped and jumped with all she had just to reach the top of Katsuya's quivering head. Nestled between her summon's tentacle eyeballs, Mi quickly gave her orders. "Keep it from focusing on the others and keep it from moving any further away from this area." Katsuya quivered once and then stilled. She seemed to puff up, growing in girth before she spewed a toxic concoction of green slime. It was acidic and it was aimed straight for the feline's face. Mi seemed distressed, watching the attack fly. She didn't want to engage the cat demon nor did she want to harm it but innocent peoples lives were being put to risk and Sypher had summoned her here to fight.
The deaths were.....unavoidable. Sypher didn't have to feel happy about them but he didn't let it show, forcing his attention to the more pressing matter.......of the giant flaming cat. His eyes widened as he stared at the beast, seeing now the true problem that Kumogakure faced. For now, though, he felt the winds stir and he quickly formed another hand sign, slamming his palm into the ground as the dragon's burst rushed at him. The ground around him exploded as rock and gravel obeyed his call, the very ground caving under his force. A piece of earth cracked upward as the burst slammed into his position, blasting some of the earth away and cracking the piece that Sypher had used for his defense. As the wind burst dwindled away, the piece of earth shattered and Sypher remained standing where he was, his hair slightly ruffled. Just in time to nearly lose an ear to a bullet that whizzed past him Right. he vanished in a spray of mist as the other bullets struck, slicing through the mist seconds before he reappeared in the same spot. His hair where the first bullet had burst by was tangled, a whole strand gone and he had a nasty red welt forming from where it had blasted so close to his skin. It went rather well with the black gaze he gave the large shinobi who had fired "You are now my personal project." he said under his breath, pulling an intricate string of hand signs before stepping a foot back to brace himself. Sypher's hands came together in a resounding clap to finish it off and the space around him exploded. Water and earth erupted with a ferocious howl, removing Sypher's hearing for the moment, and the spiral formed. A clawed paw of earth crashed into the ground, claws digging into the earth only to be followed by wickedly scaled forelimb of water dug into the earth on top of that. Two creatures formed, a tiger of earth and a dragon of water, both nearly as large as the demon, their lower parts a swirl of earth and water much like a hurricane or tornado that has picked up debris. As one, they bellowed in rage and flung themselves from where they'd been form to the attacking shinobi, claws leaving deep gouges in the earth. And, as one, they exploded off the ground to attack the shinobi. It would, if the man did not avoid, be like getting caught in a tornado, a hurricane and an earthquake trapped in a tube of air that is spinning around and around. Sypher was still standing where he'd launched his attack but he looked wet and a bit ragged now, the ground around him torn and filling up with water.

C H U U N I N ▌B L A D E D - P E R F O R M E R ⊰ Inka nearly stumbled, landing from a small leap over flames as the wind whipped up, the fire around him being sucked, slapped, and some suffocated. The ground shook, as though a large building had collapsed, causing the Chuunin to crouch, looking up through heat and smoke to see a blue glow seeping through. He stood, eyes being pulled closer to the tree tops, and then far above to witness the great beast. Inka flinched back, realising the demon was running as the ground shook beneath him, it's roar sending him back a step. He'd never seen or felt anything like this, he couldn't think of how to... go against such a force. Red eyes widened, catching the dragon's focus on him - why him!? how was he a threat? - and instinct kicked in, his heart racing, as the dragon moved oddly. Move! Inka's right hand shot inside his robe, slaming a smoke pellet into the ground the second he grasped one, forming a few quick handsigns. He'd barely completed the jutsu when the winds hit, bursting the smoke away and blasting down into the earth, trees, and flames.
The Chuunin had transported forward, towards the battle, but he'd rushed and ended up closer then he wanted to, the winds knocking him down to his knees, branches and earth rushing over him. Inka glanced up, checking where he had landed, but didn't move. He spotted a giant slug, a figure on top, recognising the colours and vague shape as Mi. Looking and up and around he also noticed two large elemental creatures behind him - Syy? - and he felt lost. Such large... things. Every where. And what was Inka to do here? What was his purpose in this battle? Attack a demon? Yeah right. He had nothing for something like... that. The dragon? Not while it was in the sky - he'd never be fast enough to evade attacks in the air. Join the soldiers? Return to ensure Syy's safety? Inka did what was probably the worst thing of all - nothing. He stayed crouched amongst the ruins of the woods, covered in soot with a dagger in one hand and a folded piece of paper in the other. There was so much destruction occurring around him from the large beings around him that he couldn't keep up, couldn't figure out how he could do any good.

-----ɉack arrived a moment after the earth and water spirits ripped themselves from the earth to attack the giant Nibi, along with the help of the giant slung known as Katsuya. Two things went through Jack's mind as he saw this: firstly, that this meant a particular a*****e of a Mizukage was in this area, and secondly, so was the one known as Mi. This disturbed him greatly, for it more than implied that what he had feared had come to pass. When Shadow and he had left Kiri it had been with the intention to return before anything grandiose, and fearfully destructive or important, were to happen. Based on the evidence that had been a failed plan from the get go, as less than a day had passed and already this was underway. Even now his eyes scanned the field and found more life forces, namely one he recognized immediately as Inka. It made sense, as he was Sypher's lover and confidant. But that was not what was primarily on his mind, no. No, in fact, it was the creatures that were also here.
-----His eyes alighted upon one opponent, a human being on the ground. Her eyes were white, the veins around them largely prominent. Remembering the list of known doujutsu in the world, Jack recognized this as the Byakuugan, a doujutsu bloodline trait that allowed one to perceive in a three hundred and sixty degree arc with no real indication of a distance limit. They could see through objects, but also see the chakra within the body. In some ways it was similar to his own doujutsu. She was a threat, as she could perceive hidden enemies. Well, in this case, he could help fight her. He would wait, however, for the most opportune time.
----- The second concern was the enemy above. Some sort of flying opponent in the sky, which in more than one way creeped out Jack. No human should be able to fly, for any real length of time. That man had to come down, but how did one attack someone from this distance without utilizing Ninjutsu of some sort? For the moment he would leave this opponent to the one he was already fighting, whom Jack did not recognize.
----- The most important enemy, however, was the cat. The Bijuu, the Nibi. It's chakra was a force against his senses, a bonfire, an inferno of life and power to his eyes. They glowed red, filled with his own bloodline, giving him a true sight into the creature. It's aura, however, carried another within it, a human sized and shaped force of life that was difficult to see midst the aura of the demon. Was this the fabled Jinchuuriki? It was a possibility, and that possibility meant an opportunity for Jack. There were enemies in the area still, shinobi but...wait, what? No, they were not! These men were not dressed as shinobi, but as something else, something he had yet to see before. Why? Was this the punishment for the holding back of his dream, for staying in Kiri instead of investigating the world? Shaking his head, for he knew that such thoughts for the moment were a distraction, Jack looked about for his best first option and then looked at his cane, held in one hand. This time it would be useless, at least for what he had planned at first. He did not know what was going on here, and he had to act accordingly.
-----Reaching into his coat he withdrew from it an ocarina, one lovingly crafted by his own hands from one of the trees of his home. It was tied to him, spiritually, and thus to Jack's mind it gave it more power, more meaning. Raising this to his lips Jack proceeded to play slow, low, and loud. The music drifted onto the field, not necessarily loud enough to block out the sounds coming from the crashing flames or the roaring of the jutsu in effect, but perhaps enough to reach the ears of those more used to detecting such things. The music played out strongly, reaching out to all sound based genjutsu other than his own, and either rendering them inert or weakening them. However, layered beneath this genjutsu, this area-wide "kai", was a more insidious one. It was this that would effect those in the area, and would likely cause the mild beginnings of panic. To everyone effected by this jutsu, their shadows would begin to writhe, to hum, to wail at them, to come alive. They would see within these shadows the faces of those they had slain, or images of their past fears and transgressions that would lie heavy upon them. The shadows themselves would seem to come to life and form monsters of the worst nightmares, creatures from the very darkest corners of their subconscious.
----- The worst part? Jack's eyes were glowing red with the power of his bloodline, making his genjutsu nearly unbreakable. Only those Jack wished, those of his allies, those fighting the enemy, would be immune, though they would see the shadows of their enemies move, just not their own.

The user must remain unseen during this Jutsu, however, since he or she would blur and disturb the images which the shadows are creating in the opponent’s mind.
•Kugai [ World of Suffering ] → Clan Rankless → While having the Sakkakugan active during a genjutsu, the user will supply an amount of chakra equal to half the genjutsu's base cost in order to further modify the technique. The enhanced genjutsu can no longer be broken by the releasing technique [ Kai.] However, no matter what the genjutsu's description says, it can now be broken by amounts of pain scaling with the rank of the technique.

Katsuyu's arrival piqued the cat's interest, insofar as it wanted to treat the giant slug as a chew toy. The halo around the cat's head ballooned out as it leaped into the air, deflecting a small amount of acid, though this was not the cat's reason for activating the shield. Once again, its leap was accompanied by a whirlwind of blue petals fueled by the orb of fire around the beast, turning it into a cyclone of fire that flattened trees in a wide area around its starting point and burned away the life of anything passing through it. The cracking of the tree trunks would echo off the sky, sounding like rolling thunder to those who weren't in the immediate area. The leap was nowhere near as magnificent as the first one, as the Nibi was only aiming to land on the slug; the fires it had shrouded it in were there mostly to burn the summon away.

The shy slugs summons grew agitated now that it had successfully received the demons attentions. She was quivering now, Mi adjusting her stance in order not to be effected by her summons bodily reactions. "L-lady Mi. I-It's coming this way. Please, find a safer perching location." Mi touched the top portion of her slimy friends head, patting Katsuya in reassurance. "You know what to do my friend. I will not be far. I promise." Mi said, feeling a slight pitch as Katsuya stretched to full height at the oncoming approach of the cat demon. Mi was sort of flung back because of this, the small woman struggling to right herself into a proper position to land on her feet. She waved her arms frantically for a second before she was tilted at the proper angle and buffered her decent with a small burst of chakra. The large 'thud' that sounded on the ground was oddly made due to her small stature. Stepping back a bit she watched as the cat demon now attacked Katsuya. Mi clenched her fists, wanting to find some sort of cat n** of sorts, anything, that could help ease the heat that Katsuya was going to have to endure in order to entertain this beast.
As the flames reached out to lick Katsuya, the slug automatically responded by activating a chain of jutsu. First, she shriveled into herself, the automatic activation of her minimal fire proof slime glaze, covering the slug and providing her with a miniscule amount of reprieve from the odd blue flames that the demon flung out from itself. As it moved to squish Katsuya, the slug seemed to explode into millions of smaller pieces of herself. Katsuya was not the most offensive of summons but she was very crafty in forms of defense and strategy. A good ally to have on one's side. Mi had to stay a good distance away. The cats flames were very dangerous and not to be trifled with. She didn't want to get burned to a crisp, like everything else that was having the life squeezed out of it.
The tiny pieces of Katsuya seemed to ooze something out of their pours, the liquid was clear-ish, a small brown tint seeming to mar it's properties thanks to the dirt in the area. Regrouping rapidly and behind the demon, Katsuya began to reform herself. Piece by piece and at a fast pace. Katsuya was carrying out her plan to a point. First, multiply, leave stick stuff all over the area and then regroup. Get the demon to run into said sticky stuff and see if they could slow it down a bit. Aside from the liquid acting as glue, Mi was hoping that the demons anatomy was the same as the feline form it took on. If it was true to it's form, cats never functioned properly with things stuck on their paws. The sensitive skin would unbalance them, making them clumsy. Mi joined Katsuya once more, atop her head and issued her next instruction. "Get it to come over here." She ordered Katsuya. The slug obeyed by launching another ball of acidic sludge. "Here kitty, kitty!" Mi yelled, waving her hands frantically above her head.

With the massive explosion of activity and jutsu, the attacking ninja were decimated, destroyed, and obliterated, unable to keep up with the massive counter attack that had just occured. The Hyuuga got one final transmission off before her body nearly exploded, and the flying b*****d got mauled to kingdom come.

As the enemies were dealt with, Sypher felt a rush of pain for their loss. He hated killing, didn't kill intentionally if he didn't have to but It had to be done. Feeling Jack's arrival, he didn't say anything though he felt a flare of annoyance. Why was Jack here? He should be back at the village, helping Zay......but then again, that was what Sypher should be doing too. So he pushed the feeling down deep and tried not to look at the shadows moving in the corner of his vision. Glancing around, he saw Mi and a giant slug taking on the cat demon from earlier Where... he cast his mind out, searching for Inka's signature and found it in the brush. A....peculiar place to be for sure but for now, Sypher was satisfied that Inka was safe though he wasn't sure what else Inka was going to do. He'd brought him, not because of their relationship, but because Inka was an expert in explosives. If anyone could distract and annoy that cat, allowing himself and Mi and, now, Jack to deal with it, it would be Inka. Walking briskly, Sypher signed as he went, cutting the distance between himself and Mi in half Mi is trying to garner its attention? Why? either way...maybe he could help her get what she wanted. He abruptly knelt, his fingers digging into the ground as the jutsu was cast. Behind the cat, the ground trembled and then roots exploded from the earth as they had when he'd first arrived. Some of the roots came up to tangle around the cat's paws, other's spiked to smack the demon's arse, jabbing it towards Mi and whatever had been planned by her and slug. He hoped Inka would come up with whatever he might be planning as he hunkered down in the brush.

Demons leaping and landing, summons rumbling and disturbing the earth - it was way too hectic. You useless b*****d, The chuunin ground his teeth together. Do something! You can't just sit here doing nothing! Inka swore, frustrated, his emotions stopping him from thinking clearly - then he heard Mi's voice. "... she's calling the cat?" Red eyes peered up and saw her small frame waving about, obviously seeking attetion. He glanced to the demon, hesitated, then dashed forward. "Right... it's a cat. Just think of it as a cat." He whispered to himself, hands pocketing what they were holding before coming to his front. Just a cat...
Inka had arrived near the base of the demon's back paws, quite a few feet back still to allow his escape, and enough room for his jutsu - until roots bursted forth from the ground. "Bloody-!" Inka yelped, but was already initiating his jutsu. He leaped back, away from the roots, but it was too late. A black wave of ash began spewing from his mouth, quickly covering the black earth and weaving between trees and some of the waving roots. He only allowed a small cloud to be issued forth before he clicked his teeth together, igniting an explosion. He hoped the bang would surge the cat backward, towards the slug, and maybe startle it into becoming tangled further by the roots.

While he was truly grateful for their support he wondered if they had an ulterior motive for their actions. One used trees interesting he had heard rumors of mokuton before but never seen it in action. Furthermore another had called forth a summon,interesting. It seemed the shinobi of the mist were still a force and had not faded as once believed. Drawing a deep breath his chakra spiked as he formed a quick seal with both hands as he could feel the flight jutsu that had been used upon him before starting to lag. As he did so the temperature of the air plummeted sharply. Extending his arms out to each side his body quickly became shrouded in fog and ice as the water within the air began to freeze upon him as he called forth his Imperial Ice dragon. The ice formed all upon his back and chest forming a solid and lightweight armor upon his body, this ice continued to form a long tail of ice with two large spiked wings upon his back. With two flaps of said wings Myurai stabilized himself in the air as he surveyed the battlefield. Seeing the wood man pin it down he saw an opening and took it without remorse for those that may get caught in the blast of his move. Taking one more deep breath his chakra spiked once more as he began a string of seals with his left hand as he slowly drew his sword with his right as the sword left its sheath he brought it level with himself off to his side as he held the final seal to the jutsu. However before the jutsu activated he paused hesitating a bit before unleashing a massive torrent of water {Suishouha [ Water Collision Destruction ]} as the water formed into a mini tidal wave it crashed over the ground slamming into the side of the nibi furthermore the massive wave of water would leave the entire area flooded anywhere between eight and ten feet deep in water. Myurias vengeance was about to come to its head as he prepared his final jutsu before the sealing.
Technique Name: Imperial Ice Dragon Rank: S Description: Thanks to the extreme dedication to his bloodline, Myurai has learned to manipulate his ice on a whole new level. Myurai can now freeze the miniscule amounts of water in the air while using this Jutsu also Myurai causes ice to flow from the air onto his body, starting at his right arm, which ice forms onto in the shape of a dragon's head around his right hand. The ice continues forming up over his shoulders, with two large wings sprouting from his back and a long tail. The ice forms down his left arm and encases his hand, which ends in a claw. Myurai's feet are encased in ice in a similar manner to his left hand, as they also end in claws. These new ice limbs are movable, and can be used as an extension of himself to aid in battle. The ice created this way follows the same durability lines as the Hyouton ice. While this jutsu is active Myurai can manipulate his Fuuton chakra to allow him the ability to fly. This Jutsu lasts 12 of the users posts and has a cooldown time of two REAL LIFE days, or 48 hours after the previous activation.
Suishouha [ Water Collision Destruction ] Rank: S Official Description: Using large amounts of chakra, the user creates water from thin air and forms so much that it creates a mini-tidal wave. The water then does not dissipate for the duration of the battle, thus creating an arena where the user has a large advantage. If the climate is exceptionally arid, such as a desert, the water only lasts for a short while before draining into the sand. Katsuyu would find it difficult to summon up the Chakra necessary to escape the Nibi, and would not divide quite as finely as intended. The beast still found itself being left behind, though, as the tree roots tangled around its feet, rooting it in place. The beast started to roar, then froze as if listening to something. After a moment's pause, the beast wrapped its tails around the roots slapping at it, and then yanked upward. The ground underneath it cracked and the beast's Chakra flared. From the cracked earth rose a tidal wave of blue flames, but these acted differently from the ones in Kumo's Residential District: instead of shooting straight upward toward the sky, they exploded outward with a force as yet unseen in the battle. The sky would fill with azure flames that devoured the Suishouha and sent a cyclone of fire outward for miles around the beast. The flames leaped high enough to lick Myurai's heels and potentially swallow Katsuyu whole, though this was not the most astounding part of this act. The forest around the cat would be leveled in a matter of seconds; but for the flames, though, it would seem like a wind storm had simply decided to squat on that patch of land.
Any sensors able to sense through the hell unfolding in the area would notice that the Nibi's companion's Chakra levels were getting weaker and weaker in comparison to the beast's.
