⌠ Didrika's Dumplings and Dango Kiosk ⌡

Braith gave the Anbu guard a blank look then waved, turning to go back in the kitchen as a waiter scurried out to serve the visitor.

Isamaru strode inside, wary that he was in a foriegn country. He didn't know how to properly act. He would act as he did in Kiri. He sat down by his escort. "Hmmm, smells nice in here." Isamaru said looking around. The atmosphere of the place was cool too. He wondered if everything here was made of sand. If so, then that was badass. "Did I say that out loud?" Isamaru asked his escort. Isamaru had that sort of problem where he wouldn't realise he was saying and not thinking.  

[Chezmonkey]

"Uhm... many buildings ARE made of Sandstone, however there is also modern wooden and stone buildings as well..." the guard said, giving a slight stare. "Anyways..." He turned to the waiter and said "4 Mitarashi Dango's, and two cups of green tea please!" Turning back, he said "You'll enjoy this. Her Dango's are the best anywhere, that I've seen."

Isamaru had that nervous smile about him again. "Crap, sorry" Isamaru stammered on how to make himself not seem like such a fool. He opened up his sleeves and sand came out. "Ahh, the sand it gets everywhere. It's like paint man, I swear!" Isamaru said trying to steer himself off of his subject. He listened to the Anbu talk about the dumplings. "My ma told me once about this place, she said it had good food." Isamaru said with a smile.  

[Chezmonkey]

Smiling, the ANBU laughed and said "I know! Watch!" Suddenly, streams of sand began pouring from the mask's eye slits. "It's everywhere! But you get used to it. As for this place's food, It really is world renown. I'm glad one of the Didrika's came back to restaff it after such a long time. So, what's it like in the Mist right now?"  

[Count-Swagula]

Isamaru held a suprised expression as the eye holes of the mask leaked sand. This disturbing act made Isamaru wonder if the people were also made out of sand. But for the sake of not being rude, Isamaru brought back a genuine laugh. "Don't see these too much in the mist, I can tell you that." Isamaru said looking around. He heard the question raised about his own home. "Ahh, my homeland is actually peaceful, not too many demons running amok. Our children don't destroy eachother for headbands." Isamaru said naming some things about the mist. "basically we're a big misty peaceful country right now." Isamaru added leaning back and looking at the ceiling.

(Chezz, Sorry man, I don't mean to seem like a big dumb stiny jerk. I just wanted to go to the summon Isle. So I'm going to skip out of here. again sorry D smile


Isamaru remembered he had quite a journey ahead of him. He stood up and threw money down on the table. "I'm so sorry, but I have important matters to attend to. I shall return another time, and we can pick up on this discussion from there!" Isamaru said dashing out towards the gate, he remembered the turns to get back out of the village. He hoped there would be no trouble leaving.

Trash Collection: Post 3/3

Bast burst on to the scene of a horrific egging and toilet-papering of the delicious home of Didrika's Dumplings and Dango! The culprits had not been apprehended, but for now the appearance of the store was key. Bast rolled up her sleeves and grabbed a spatula and plate. The eggs had cooked under the hot sun, and were perfectly cooked! She scooped them off of the otherwise clean windows and on to the plate, and ducked inside once she was done with that. The Didrika family assured her that the eggs would be served to the culprits as their just desserts.

After that lovely exchange, she dove out of the store. Trees were scaled, toilet paper removed, kittens rescued, and all within minutes! Gentlemen swooned at the woman's acts of heroism, much to the jealousy of the men's lovers! Like a wind of paid benevolence, Bast flew from the scene toward her next good deed!

Howaido arrived now able to walk on his own with out James he went right to the counter and ordered about three sets of dumplings, one for each person. "Dont worry guys, Ill pay for it this time." Howaido took the three trays and sat down at an empty table,"The Village is nice looking these days, howve you been James?"

"I've been good. The village really came alive. We had a great class of Gennin come from the academy the year after me, and That mission we went on was so ridiculous that it it almost Qualified me for Jounin, A little work and I was there. I've been training the Gennin and working on my custom techniques. The armor and clone prison you already saw. We had that Tsunami hit, and wash all the damn way here. An its been relatively quiet since. I have a feeling that Something is going to happen soon, but can't nail down what. I've been studying under Sanshi a lot. What great adventure took you away so long?"  

[Qastor]

"I wanted to train hard away from everyone, I was going to be doing some rigorous stuff and I couldnt have anyone being in danger because of my training or my weakness between training sessions. So I asked Mamorou to let me take some time off, Bast oddly backed me up. So I took off and spent some time around villages gathering intel and training. I did a few things for Mamorou while I was gone, but to be honest I was checking up on something that has been bothering me for the past year." Howaido finished off a stick as he sighed,"Atcha its nothing really I shouldnt be loading my own burdens on you guys." Things had been happening that he had no idea of, a lot of things. A flood in Sunagakure? "Ill say that is a pretty odd scenario we have to make our own rain out here, we couldnt possibly get a flood strong enough to blow the ducts so suddenly, not unless karmas a magical b***h. Did you here about Titan? I was around Snow when it happened, a scary thing to be so close to the death of an enemy. I think the rumbling is going to come from an unsuspectable source. I hear the Kage are talking about the Bijuu not, call me old fashioned but I dont think its wise to start sealing chakra masses beyond control inside people. No less people with lives..." Howaido sipped on his water as he tossed the ball in James' court,"What do you think about it? Im probably just thinking too much, but Mamorou says Im close to Sannin status now and I need to start thinking about how to mold the bigger picture. Thats partially why he sent me away on my tour of the world, I think hes not quite ready to have another Bast around just yet though, geheheh!"

"Honestly when it comes to the Bijuu I'm not sure. I would love to see something that powerful in action, but out of control it would be horrible. It has to take one hell of a person to reel in and deal with that power. You should have seen Bast after the flood. She for one flew around like a demon to save everyone and make repairs, but she didn't really eat or sleep. It made her mood a raging firestorm of s**t. Mamoru has been fairly quiet with us, he speaks with San and Bast often, and will gladly talk with us any time, but business has stayed with those big three. I guess with my new position we will start speaking more. Did anyone fill you in on that mission to the coast?"  

[Qastor]

"Somewhat..." Howaido finished his glass and drank a small bit of sake, he was not the drunkard type, but it appeared he had taken up some alcohol over his travels. "I heard it was a mess, with all the bodies and such. Mamorou didnt think I needed to be burdened with much else at the time, we have been talking about things lately. I may be going away for quite a bit of time and I think he wants my head clear to make the decision to leave or stay. Its hard.... to have lived in a place for so long and feel like you need to leave the place you love, like theres something out there for you, its calling you and if you refuse it the sound scrapes at the inside of your mind. Ideas youve had for a lifetime calling now of all times? Im still trying to sort it out..." Howaido took another sip as he ate his last stick of dumplings,"You should be happy James. I know things can seem hard with training and the life and death situations. Plus, youre a medic you see things no one else should have to and you swallow them down in a seconds time to save the still living. But, would you trust me if I said a well based decision... is the hardest part of being a human... ?"

James nodded at Howaido's word's "For me the hardest part of being human is staying human. Not snapping to instinct. Not smashing anyone who dares challenge me, and keeping my temper, but those well thought choices are what make us human. That's what keeps us from the rest of life. Choice is the human essence. It is the human spirit. It;s a funny weakness for a medic, but its true. You will make the right choice Howaido. It will not be easy, but the only easy thing is nothing." James drank a sip of water, keeping his ice fresh with his bloodline. James was not much for drinking either. The taste of alcohol bothered him.

"I was a team leader on the Port mission. The minute we got there all of us were infected with a chakra virus. I had no way to know to look for it. That is what ******** things. Me and San could have stopped that wave, and saved all those people, but I put the mission first. I made the call that killed all those people, and San backed it. The people I did save were essential, but I saved 10 and let 1000 die. I had torn through almost 3/4th of my chakra keeping the team up. I had no idea how big the wave was. Lucas and me had to literally hit it first to keep our building standing. We came back, and reported and Sanshi ate all the heat for it. I've never seen the Kage like that before. It was crap. They acted like it was our fault a massive natural disaster occured. Like stopping a 600 foot 2 mile long wave was Shinobi 101." James took a long drink. "It didnt hit me until later to fuse Sanshi's iron sand with my chakra, and have him launch it into the wave. I though about fusing, but not in the proper way. I know I did my best but damn, How do you prepare for that?"  

[Qastor]

"James.... You did the best that you could with the time alotted. It wasnt like it was a test you could take over again, you had to think of the best solution and the first you came up with was your best. You saved the squad of ten, thats great! Out of 1000 people you couldve only saved 10, yes innocents died and nothing can change or fix that, but you didnt abandon your friends and thats the most important thing. If I had to choose between you and San or 2 out of 1000 people I did not know, it wouldnt be easy, but I would not sacrifice you two for anything I had control over." Howaido sipped some more sake as the burn slid down his throat,"Its not something you can prepare for, nothing prepares you for death, you just have to swallow it in bits... My clan... I never knew much about them, but they have a saying. It goes something like this, and maybe if you think about it from time to time it will ease your pain." Howaido went for the sake again, but stopped and set it down as he took a deep breath. "Those who abandon the mission are trash, but those who abandon their comrades and friends.... Are worse than trash..." Howaido smiled towards James as he passed on something rather close to his being onto the young prosperous Jounin. "That is something Ive lived by ever since I heard it. It has helped me through hard times and hopefully it can help you too. I know you think Mamorou is angry for your failures, but he isnt. The Kazekage raised me as well as Bast-sensei, they are like my mother and father. I wasnt perfect either and Ive had my share of screw ups, but Ive learned one thing about how much the two of them care about guys like us. They may seem angry on the outside about our misfortunes... but on the inside... They are more angry at themselves.... for not being able too do something about it and help us through such a difficult time in our lives."
