Yeah, you read right, JT acts pretty good in this film. A little misplaced, considering hes about 10x hotter than everyone else in the movie... Though I suppose some guys might argue Christina Ricci who plays our main character, Rae. Rae is left heart broken, and torn to peices after her boyfriend Ronnie (Timberlake) goes off to the military. Shes a sex addict see, so there forms this problem. She goes around doing her thing, and yeah, this is a pretty nit grit film, so expect some violent sex. Just warning you. Anyways, after getting beaten half to death after making fun of a guys... shortcomings, a man, Lazarus (Jackson), finds her bleeding on the street and takes her in. He is deeply religious and ends up feeling it his responsibility to kind of "redeem" this girl. So he chains her up and cares for her. How would you like that, waking up in some strange mans house, chained to the heater. nuts. So its a pretty interesting watch, but not really something Id recommend. The dialogue was a bit "written", but the story does pretty much go full circle with some good symbols... The acting was dull in places, but not bad for all the major scenes. I was slightly disappointed with the ending, because of course, while I do generally like happy endings, it seems that what they did didnt really solve all their problems. Id say, watch this only if you have nothing else to really watch.
