He notices the scenery is changing a bit, their dirt road becoming one of pavement, as buildings apear he hardly notices her changing her hair color, it almost made her look bald for a moment so he smirks, but then a sense of dread overcomes him as he realizes where they are, and his smirk quickly fades and his skin goes slightly pale. His eyes turn purple and his 12 sided burst shaped polygonal eyes, the 6 tips become curved instead of pointed for his pupils. And he tests his binds, hurting a bit, he exhales from the pain, asking. 'Do you know where we are headed?' He tries to get the tissue under his skin touching the binds to inflame a certain way so that he can try to break the binds without hurting himself too much, but his hands go numb, and he decides to stop, and leans back. Some of the drug is still in his system making him drowsy, so leaning back feels very relaxing during a stressful time such as this.

A suspicious expression crosses across her face as she watches him closely, carefully: She has also noticed the way in which his unusual eyes were changing shape. Regardless of how drugged up she was as well, she couldn't get relaxed. Her albino eyes flickered back and forth constantly, always searching, part of the condition, and she felt very uncomfortable with the fact that she couldn't see very well. Once more, she attempted to shift her wrists. By now, she was most certainly bleeding.
"From the looks of things, toward a prison of some sort.." she muttered almost under her breath. The buildings they were passing were slowly growing free of vegetation and looked more concrete and steel in structure than before. The very idea of being trapped inside one of them made her skin crawl; she knew they must be very far from any bodies of water, which was where she felt most comfortable. "We need to get out of here before we reach the destination...that is for sure." Now, she was half-talking to herself, not wanting to rouse suspicion.

(which reminds me Im not sure what we could do about water in this story yet)

'From what I remember hearing, there is a blockaded city that was abandoned that they are sending us to' Tries to breath less shallow. Some others start to wake up. The vehicle is approaching a tall gate, there are some tall buildings on the outside of the gate but not on the other side of it, probably to prevent people from escaping if they learned how to survive a fall. An almost blank grim expression comes accross his face. The people who awoke speak in another language and are talking over the sound of the truck making it more difficult to hear her, then he realizes he doesn't know her name and itd be nice to have a friend that actually speaks the same language in a desolate place such as this.
'What's your name?' Him speaking over the noise pollution, as the vehicle is about to aproach the gate.

(We'll figure it out. And also, I have an idea, tell me what you think. At the beginning I said one of her nicknames was Tayzee- we could have that be because when she says her name, he hardly hears it, and he [later in the roleplay] affectionately calls her Tayzee in remembrance of their first meeting. Just an idea)

Anastasiya watched the buildings as they neared the enormous stone gates, her eyes blank, expressionless, as she tried hard to not think about what they were heading toward. As the others begun waking, she tried to listen to their conversations before realizing they were speaking something other than her own native tongue. She was certainly happy that there was at least one other here, that she was aware of, who spoke the same language as she. In fact, the very same was now asking her a question- her name, if she'd heard him right. Over the sound of all the noise, all that could be heard from her was "-Tayzee-". She nodded solemnly before asking the very same, "An...yours?..." Just then, they went over a particularly vicious bump, and she cried out loud as her battered wrists banged mercilessly against the cab of the truck. She was getting pretty sick of this, but fortunately, as the car begun to slow down, the bumps grew less painful.

'I'm Kei' He said loudly because he hardly heard her name. When the bump struck he almost falls out of his seat, and when he looks up he notices Tayzee's wrists are bleeding and wonders how to help her, and also wonders why they would put it so tight on a girl. He thinks he should say somehting but doesn't know what to say about it.

Soon enough they slow to a stop at the gate and a guard speaks to the driver. Kei looks at the guard, his eyes change again when he does, slowly to a blue then a dark green, and the pupils change ovalish wider at the horizontal, Tayzee can't see it well though because of him turning his head. The guard looks to be roughly in his mid/late thirties and strong but slightly overweight, and he looks grubby compared to his state of the art uniform and a strange gun at his hip. The people in the back go quiet to overhear what the guard is saying.

'How many are there?'

'Eleven.'

'..Okay, any we should take note of?'

'No, these ones aren't that tough. Besides, if any were we would probably have them caged.'

'Fair enough...' He writes something on an electronic device with an inkless pen and signs it. 'Ill let them know to let you in. It'll prolly be a few minutes.' He walks off to a booth off of one of the tall buildings, its the only building near them that looks like it has clean windows.

Some Ideas run through Kei's head, none are realistic.

'Well, they wouldn't transfer us to a place such as this to kill us..'

Anastasiya cringed as she attempted to sit up better, grateful that the truck was slowing down and the ride was becoming more gentle. Unlike the others, she didn't bother to look up as the guards nearby begun talking: she figured that as long as she listened, it wouldn't be suspicious about what she was doing. She pretended to be fidgeting with her feet, trying to clean some of the dirt off the top of one with another. She caught a few words of their conversation, and, from the sounds of it, none of the other prisoners they were with were particularly dangerous. True in my case.. she thought to herself with a light pang of desperation. She honestly wished there was something to be done to get away from these people. They were being treated like packages, even being signed off for...
"Hey. Kei." She called his name just loud enough that he would hear, but the guards likely wouldn't notice. Anastasiya bit her lip before continuing. "When we get a bit up to speed again..." She gestured with her body over the edge of the truck. She was implying they pitch and roll for it, hoping he would understand.

He looks as his name is called. He thinks for a moment, the city is probably large beyond the gates, so most of it would probably be abandoned, but it would give us enough time to flee off of the vehicle, but we wouldn't be able to make it back out of the gates..! Thinks that there might probably be a large amount of minor experimentations, with us to wander around and all live in this area and be tagged. But if that were true they would need a supply truck to come here every so often, thus giving us a chance to escape, even if they have guns. But god knows what the experiments might consist of.

He begins to sweat a bit. He glances around to make sure theres nobody with any guns directly looking at us. But the drivers probably have guns! He panicks a little but tries to hide it. If he could grab a gun he might be fine but he still is tied. Suddenly he stops fidgeting and bites his lip. He bends low so he doesn't draw attention, and tries hard to balance and whisper into Tayzee's ear while not sounding strained.

'It might be now or never.. We don't know where we are though so we might have to wait and find out what's in store for us.' Instead of holding his position, he thinks its probably going to be alot easier to sit next to her, so he wedges himself between her and some dude who seems to be muttering to himself.
'I might be able to break out of the restraints but I'll tear some muscles in my arms doing so' He suddenly thinks of a second way to get out of the restraints while Tayzee starts replying. He is a little shaky because they need to hastily make a decision.

Anastasiya managed to keep calm as she leaned forward, tilting her head so that her ear was angled toward his lips. It was still very difficult to hear him over the roaring of the truck, however; she apologized to him through her eyes before he seemed to grow tired of it, wedging himself between herself and the crazy man who was on her other side. Her petite figure nearly disappeared behind the two bulky men on either side of her; she winced as the bracelets tore through the skin on her wrists.
As soon as Kei mentioned that the two may just have to wait and see what would happen, panic begun to rise in Anastasiya's throat. Her eyes widened and she shook her head violently, gesturing once more over the edge of the truck. She certainly wouldn't wait around and fall to the same fate that her parents had: Likely experimented on, then killed. Then he begun to speak to her again, mentioned the arm restraints that she was so desperate to get off. With a short, determined nod, she approved that he may be able to break free. "Make sure you're careful, and try not to get noticed.." she whispered, her eyes still wide, flicking back and forth. "And..."
She glanced over the edge of the truck once more. "Maybe we should actually do it after we escape?..." She wasn't sure, though. In this world full of strangers, she had to trust his judgement.

He loosens the tissue in his right hand making his hand go limp and his fingers elongate and become thicker, while his wrist becomes thinner and his thumb he sits on to make sure it stays closer to the center of his hand and his knuckles dislocate loosely, and he winces as he pulls his hand through behind himself so no one else notices, his hand still scrapes sorta badly and he almost curses, his eyes watering. His hand goes numb and limp and he isn't in the right mindset to try and fix it until they flee, then he thinks he should have done it with his other hand so he could help get her out with his right hand. He looks around to see where they could run to and not get shot at.. He suddenly has some doubts but shakes them off, And suddenly the gate opens very loudly but slowly.
He touches his numb hand and wrist against her side to let her know he got his hand free.
Then he loudly speaks in her ear.

'We can still get out before the gate closes, if we go now the guards might see us, so lets go right after passing the-'

Three of the people in the back of the truck flee while the gate is opening. Kei's response is ******** maybe I should run with them, so he double-takes up nearly out of his seat unsure if he should run with the group or not he stands up about to run and looks at Tayzee til their eyes make contact. The moment their eyes make contact his eyes subconciously copy the red ring of color around the iris the same as hers even though his iris is a different color right now overall, but for just an impossibly small moment, and a loud boom is heard. Someone shot with dead on accuracy to the middle person fleeing, from the booth, and some of his blood splats accross the other two. But he doesn't bleed beyond that and looks like he might be dead, when kei turns his head.
The driver and passenger get out, they don't have guns on their sides Kei sees, but they have batons and they beat the two who weren't shot, until they put climb back into the inside of the truck, they then pick up the seemingly dead guy and dump him in the back of a truck, Kei is definitely sitting by now shocked and scared, but the dude who was shot through his ribs is still hardly breathing, the two don't bother saying let this serve as a lesson. They just make a noise stare us down and get back into the vehicle, especially staring at Kei since he was standing. One older woman in the back starts crying silently, she is the only other female here.

Then theres a silence, and the gates stop making noise now, people forgot about it, and then theres an even more silent moment after.

Then the truck passes through the gates.

Anastasiya felt her heartrate increase as the truck neared the gates. She felt Kei gently touch her side with his hand, and she nodded, her eyes closed, to indicate that she understood what he had done. When she glanced up, she saw the pain in his expression...she bit her lip, hoping that he was all right after the slip his hands had pulled through the tight cuffs. It wasn't long before the gate opened widely with a groan as low-pitched and sad as a blue whale- she made the comparison in her head, missing the sea even more. Then, something totally unexpected happened- three of what Anastasiya had noticed to be the most jittery men in the truck leapt from the cab, rolling to safety on the ground, before...Bang. He was dead.
She noticed that Kei was standing, immediately thrusting her shoulder into the back of his knees as hard as she could, trying to force him back down. She didn't want him to get in trouble, didn't want him to...die. How the others had. The two were in this together, and she would NOT allow anything to happen to him.
It wasn't long before the apparently dead man was thrown carelessly back into the truck. Anastasiya knew better than to look at him; the smell of iron and salt from his body was already making the bile rise in her throat, and she didn't need any more reason to be noticed by the violent guards. She heard the sounds of an old woman sobbing, and she wanted to shush the woman- Anything that made you stand out here could be dangerous, and that included showing weakness.
She noticed as her companion's eyes changed. Never before had she seen herself reflected in anyone else, but it seemed as though after a moment, it was just her imagination. And now, as the two sat amongst the other shocked passengers, she felt helpless and terrified.
Leaning her head in just enough to near her lips to his ear, she whispered: "K-keep your hands hidden...I-I'm...sorry I almost got us killed." She wanted to keep herself apathetic, but it was extremely difficult, considering that the dead man in the cab could have been one of them. "I...I don't know what to do." She let her forehead rest gently against his arm, and she bit down hard on her tongue to hold back the sobs and sick rising higher in her throat.

His heart was beating fast from the event.
He knows he looks a little pale after what happened, and he even feels like crying a bit, but he noticed the guy isn't dead yet, he even stopped bleeding, probably because he figured out how to stop the bloodflow. He's glad he isn't dead but his breathing looks pained. Kei tries to relax with her leaning on him, but he can't help but he a little tense after what happened, so he adjusts his position to accomodate her more.

'Don't worry..' He said his voice almost cracking. Kei notices the sun because of the shadow of a building they are driven by, he notices its a few hours after noon roughly because the sun isn't too high in the sky.
'We will figure something out.'

Kei wishes he were somewhere else, that he could just close his eyes and his problems go away. He closes his eyes for a moment but it doesn't help so he observes the town they are driving through. The tallest building so far in here was maybe 5 stories tall. The gate was more like 8 stories. Kei fixes his hand while waiting, though its taking him alot longer than expected because he can't relax enough. Either way he is glad he has someone he could call a friend here.

A few people check on the injured guy.

Anastasiya tried to block out the man who lie dying on the floor, but it wasn't long before she realized that he was actually still alive. Her eyes widened and she forced her head to lift, her gaze trailing over to his limp, bloody figure. The blood had pooled in the back of the cab, and some of their traveling companions had squished forward more to avoid touching it, making it even more crowded by Kei and herself. She gently touched Kei's arm, making sure to keep her eyes averted so the guards wouldn't know she was talking to him.
"Do you think there's any way...we can help him?.." she asked softly. It wasn't in her nature at all to let a man that she saw as innocent lie on the ground, dying, alone amongst a crowd....She shifted uncomfortably.

After a moment of thinking about it, however, she realized that it would be no use. With the three who just tried to escape, the guards were now avidly watching the remaining prisoners, their slate-gray gazes piercing and frightening. She decided against helping the innocent man, though it made her heart sick to think about it. To distract herself, she followed Kei's gaze and started to watch the tall buildings flicker by as the truck passed, their shadows a relief in the hot mid-afternoon sun. The dust was almost choking, and she realized how thirsty she was. They must be nearing their holding place.

"N-nevermind..Here. Do you need help with your hand..?" Anastasiya asked him quietly over the loud sounds of bumps in the road.

'I think I'm almost done fixing it, not sure how you could help with it though.' He can hardly move his fingers cuz his knuckles didn't relocate properly, so he pulls his fingers with his other hand behind his back to fix it, and he opens and closes his fist til it feels normal.
He looks at the guy again. 'The only way I could have helped him is helping to stop the bleeding, but he reduced the bleeding alot on his own already.'

The truck stops suddenly after we hear someone communicate on their old fashioned walkie talkie from the front of the truck, then they back the truck up, and take a detour.

'That's suspicious...' Kei looks to their captors again who seem slightly cautious. Not long a few minutes down the road they stop again, this time they pull out normal pistols and one stands watch, oddly at the front of the vehicle.

'Somethings up?..' The driver gets to the back of the truck.
He gestures with his gun for them to get the hell out, and he opens the back of it. The walkie talkie goes off again in the language we don't know, and the dude at the front of the vehicle says something loudly, wonder's why the injured guy is still in the back of the vehicle, and he sees how I already slipped loose, he just glares and points the gun at me gesturing to get the dude out. So I do.

The walkie talkie goes off a third time, loudly this time and the driver and passenger shout something and quickly get in the vehicle and take off. The guy I hardly pull out of the vehicle but he hits his head. '********!' And the people who don't speak english are seeming to panick a little and run to the nearest building.

'Wait A Miinute what is going on! HELLO' One of the dudes in a very strong accent says. 'Moster, coming mosters! Hide!'
'Tayzee just go to them, I can carry him.' Kei is half confused, what the hell's going on. He carries this guy and hopes he doesn't have aids or anything as blood stains his shirt.

The dude I'm carrying struggles for some reason, and hits me and points over to the other people. And one of them yells something out. Me just being confused, runs over to Tayzee.
(facepalms idk if I should be going in this direction yet with the story lol, still didn't solve the water issue either xd )
And from the direction the vehicle was headed, it seems people are walking down the street loudly, and when they see the dude on the ground they get louder, almost like excited voices, and we can't see them easily because of the glare from the sun.

Suddenly Kei remmebers people are still restrained and he decides to help them, starting with Tayzee. He notices her dried blood, and doesnt know how to help her yet without hurting her. And the peopel who were loud stopped being as loud and apear to be bent over the person's body. (if this seems alittle hasty it might be because Im not sure exactly what to do or because I badly need to go to the bathroom lol)

Kei fixes his hand while waiting, though its taking him alot longer than expected because he can't relax enough. Either way he is glad he has someone he could call a friend here.

(Haha you're all good, no problem. We can solve the water issue later, and I was waiting for something interesting to happen. :3)

Anastasiya gritted her teeth together as the truck came to an abrupt stop, trying her best not to let her wrists scrape against the hardened plastic of the bed. However, before she even had a moment to wonder what was going on, one of the guards had walked quickly to the back of the truck, slamming the back door of the truck down, and gesturing wildly for them to get out. Those near the back and the body clambered out quickly, running off without a word; some of those who seemed to know the dying man didn't leave as hastily, but rather slowly, watching their dying friend as they climbed past. A gun is pointed at Kei's head, and her muscles all turn to ice as he is instructed to help the dying out of the back of the truck. Anastasiya follows Kei quickly, trying not to get separated; the man Kei was helping was struggling against him, though, and Anastasiya shot a panicked look into the air. "You need to put him down!" she yelled over the sounds of panic, but Kei had already done so.
It was then she realized he had called her "Tayzee". She had never heard the nickname before, but she wasn't about to question it in this brief moment of panic; she would remember to ask him later, when they were safe. While he fiddled hastily with her wrists, she turned slightly over her shoulder and pleaded with him, "We need to run and hide now...This is the chance we've been waiting for!" She pulled lightly at her wrists, wincing at the pain. "Come on, let's go into one of those buildings!"

A few people check on the injured guy.

The building has broken windows, some dirt and dust over the floor and desks and such, looks like an office building of some sort.
'Don't you wonder who they are?'
Kei looks out the window carefully to see what's going on. His eyes turn yellow and his pupils go squareish and it slowly narrows vertically so its wider than it is tall. So he can see better, he also adjusts the membrane of one of his eyes to lump out a little. He sees people with abnormal and various skin colors. The clothes that are normal that they are wearing look rigid and dirty as if they werent washed for weeks. Some of them are naked but are covered in rough hide or scales of differing colors. Theres three girls and four guys?

Kei looks away now and walks to Tayzee. Judging from what she behaved like earlier he figures she doesn't want to know what they are doing to the body yet.

'Let's look for a way upstairs?' Half of the others are wandering aroudn away from the windows, while two are still looking through the windows and argueing?, and the older woman from earlier just covers her mouth while she silently cries. Kei still feels like watching the group til they move on though just in case, but others are doing that even if they speak another language.

(Sure, he can call her Tay. I just meant that he at first would think her name was Tayzee, until she explained it better :3)
Anastasiya followed Kei silently through the first floor of the house, her hands still awkwardly positioned her back. As they walked into the room nearest the outside, she noticed that others were around, gathering near the windows as herself and Kei were; she didn't dare look out the window, and she knew that even if she did, she wouldn't be able to see too well. That was another side-effect of partial albinism. With a soft sigh, begun to instead search the surrounding darkness of the room as best as she could with her eyes; before long, she discovered a staircase, and gently bumped Kei with her shoulder, gesturing that he should follow. Stepping around the other people crowding by the windows, her short figure led the way toward the partially-hidden staircase, which was somewhat blocked by a large wall of steel filing-cabinets. They were locked, and she figured it would do no good to fiddle with them for now. Still barefoot and unaccustomed to this environment, she was cautious as she stepped over toward the stairs. It was very dark over there as well, and she felt uncomfortable that she couldn't reach for the railing. She didn't want the other prisoners to follow, either, so she tried her best to remain silent.

Kei enters the nearest building with Tayzee and some of the others (honestly I feel Tay is a good nickname if he thinks tayzee is her real name lol, much easier to say lol).

A person moves my Kei and Kei moves a little out of the way for him.

Helps Tay up the stairs. 'Any idea how we should remove your restraints?- Oh maybe broken glass we could use to cut the rope?' He readjusts his eyes so they look more normal, deep blue.

The gang of 'monster' biokinetics. One of them has adept ears to hear prey and vehicles, so the whole group can engage, and points out where they have to go, so they were moving towards the truck way in advance. A tower from outside of the other end of the gate spotted them and communicated this information, so they had to detour a few times. Overall there are many watch towers to watch the progression of the biokinetics and keep tabs on them, and theres the origin biokinetic who migrates seemingly randomly. Ultimately they have biokinetics here to see how the original biokinetic reacts and to see how fast the biokinetics advance and in what ways with the original biokinetic around. Anastasiya slowly looks up at him, nodding once as they reach the top of the staircase. She doesn't immediately start searching for a sharp object to cut the binds with, though: she watches his eyes intently as they change color, and she suddenly gets an idea. "We should try to disguise ourselves and get away.." she murmurs softly, half to herself. In the building they were in, there were dusty old trunks and wardrobes, as well as more filing cabinets, on this upper floor, all of which looked like they hadn't been touched in a century. Unconsciously, her hair started to fade into the slate gray of the concrete wall behind her, and, because her hair was so long that it covered much of her chest, stomach, and hips, it looked almost as though she blended right into the wall. Anastasiya then steps away from the wall, her hair remaining that color even as she steps away and begins to look around the room. With a bare foot, she flings open one of the covers of the trunks, and a cloud of dust is thrown into the air, and onto her- she sputters and coughs for a moment before turning back to him. "Let's have a look around, shall we?"

Without answering he does take a look around, when he sees draws he opens them to try and find something inside to help with her binds. He finds an old newspaper (so cliche lol) about the first discovery of biokinetics, about 40 years old.

'This town has been abandoned for a while.' He says squinting at the paper, he flops it down onto the desk and opens the drawers.

'Well heres a letter opener. Its a little sharp but it doesn't look like its made for cutting rope. Hold still.' He carefully slices the rope to not hurt her, but it cuts very slowly. He gets one hand out, and you (probably, sorry if not) put your hands in front of you to check on your wrists, he is still behind her, he looks over her shoulder and his arms on either side of her he works on cutting the bind at the other hand, his chest touching against her back. (not all binds are two cut, most are prolly one cut but you said you wanted romance sorta heh.) The rope he drops to the floor. Afterword he gently takes a look at her wrists.

Little do they know theres a blood trail from some of the blood that got on Kei from the shot person leading to the building they are in.

(Haha I do quite approve x3)

Anastasiya watched him carefully as he went through the very same trunk that she just kicked open, pulling out what looked to be an old, somewhat-rotted newspaper. After he tossed it onto a nearby desk, she kept her eyes on it: attempting to read it upside-down, she got a few hints from it. There had been some sort of explosion, causing it to be evacuated...she figured it had something to do with biokinetic beings, and that was why it was now overrun with these awful prison guards. Before long, Kei was behind her, though, undoing her binds, and that was all she could think about. She felt him brush her back and, regardless of the current state she was in, couldn't help but blush lightly. She muttered a soft "Thank you" as he finished, pulling her hands around to the front of her, not even able to rub her wrists: They were so raw, rubbing them would likely only make them bleed again. She wasn't even aware that he was standing over her, watching her, until she saw his foot right behind hers. That, however, wasn't what caught her attention.

Behind his foot, she saw, was a few drops of blood. And a few more behind that. And...all over the room. Wherever he had been walking, there were drops of blood on the floor. Anastasiya's eyes widened in terror.
She turned sharply, nearly bumping into him, but he hoped he could sense the panic in her expression as she pointed to the floor, her hand shaking as she tried to keep herself calm. "W-What if they follow us?.." she whispered. "We need to get you clean, right now!"
