There. He slipped down from the tree limb and crept to the trinket hidden in a nearby bush. His hand shot out, grabbing it and slipping it into his pocket. Two more. Just two more.

Another one glinted not too far away and he crept towards it, grabbing it and slipping it into his pocket. So close. He was so close.

He jerked as another little one came, and grabbed another tree limb, disappearing into the shadows once again, his heart pounding against his chest. Come on, already, he thought. Forget I'm here...

There, he thought, as he looked around. There was another perfect place to hide. It was a bit surprising how good he was at picking out hiding spots...

And there, right by the perfect hiding spot, was another trinket. That made fifteen, he thought as he grabbed it and snuck his way back to where Invi was waiting.

"Fifteen," he said, pulling them out of his pocket in handfuls and handing them over. "Sorry it took so long," he added with a grin. He was quite satisfied with himself.
