"Things are sure looking up, aren't they John?" Hector asked his assistant as they began to walk down the steps of the main central HQ in Ander. "Once as we deliver the message from the prince to the King of Gunther, we'll probably get another promotion." She smiled. "To think, I've only been in this army a few years, and I'm already a decently ranked officer."
"Yes, but was it really necessary for me to do the talking?" John, her assistant, asked.
"Oh hush. My voice is so high pitched and I'm so short compared to you as it is. Besides, you're far more witty then I am. Classy people appreciate a good wit." She replied. "Now come on." She said, boarding a small but fast air ship built for missions such as those. After about an hour of preparation, they were on their way to Gunther's capital.

"Fire!!" Victor shouted as his air warship unleased a torrent of cannons onto a sky pirate ship, causing it to sink and crash. Once his commander gave permission to land, Victor sent soldiers out to kill any sky pirate on sight and to capture all the stolen loot. "Hurry up!" he ordered, "we have to return to the capital soon!".

"Did you find anything? We've been in this snowy wasteland for a while now, and even the crew doesn't know if we're going in the right direction or if we're lost." John muttered to his captain.
"John, look." Hector said, looking through a telescope. "It's one of Gunther's imperial ships. If we're lucky, we could get a direct route back to their capital." She said. "Head west north west towards that ship! Send up the white flag." She ordered.

A report came in of a foreign ship approaching. The commander gave an order to send a message to that ship. Victor got on the telegraph machine and sent a message to the ship requesting it to declare it's reason for approaching.

As the messenger approached the ship, the ship stopped temporarily to let the messenger on board before going a bit closer to the ship and stopping. When the messanger spoke, no one except Hector understood what he was saying and they began speaking among themselves.
"Ah, a message from the imperial ship." Hector said, walking to the messenger. "Sorry, they can't understand you like I can. Let's see." She said, reading the message. "Tell them we have an important letter for the king of Gunther and we're not to familiar with the landscape. We would like some directions back if you don't mind." She said. "Actually, let me go tell your commander myself. That would be faster. Lead me back." She said, grabbing her coat. The messenger nodded and lead her back to Victor's ship.

As always, the timid Dardanas Kurago was nabbed by yet another air pirate gang. This always happened but he normally didn't mind as long as they gave him stuff he could work with. Fixing and maintaining their engines also cooled him off so he was okay with it. But as of now, he was tied up on the the thick wooden pole of the main mast. He gazed forward with lazy eyes, imagining fields and flowers in the bright heat of the sun when a broad shadow ruined his concentration and forced him to look up. It was the typical airship pirate with the wooden leg and the eye patch. He spit in a small bucket nearby before beginning to speak in the typical 'pirate way' of speaking, with the slurs and hard -to-comprehend words and expressions.
"Who's this maggit 'ere? Lost? Boy?!" he eyed Danny up and down but the timid man couldn't help but just shrug and smile.
"What's this ye got 'ere?" He asked, grabbing the roll of paper sticking up from Danny's pocket. He unrolled it and looked at it for a few moments before widening his eyes, immediately understanding what it was. It was none other than a design for a fuel-efficient engine with some modifications to make it work twice better than the average steam engine. "Ye stole it from some scallywag?"
"I made it" Danny gazed up at him with a pleasant look, oblivious to the other pirates eyeing him badly from all sides.
"Ayt. Ye don't have te walk the plank. We could use someone who knows how a dang engine works around 'ere. Just remember yer place" The pirate captain said, having his men untie Danny.
"Yes sir", Danny answered back with a timid tone though it was pleasant enough not to say he begrudged it.
In the sands of Hannon, a brown wagon full of goods was being dragged around by a steadfast horse. To Norra, it was headed, definitely. A nice selection of exotic goods and rare luxuries were held in store by the young lady that drove the cart. She did not like to travel by air since the risk of air pirates was too high. Besides, escape and hiding would be a tad easier since she was fond of the ground. Besides, the dust storms and the sand gave perfect camouflage for the wagon and its mistress. It was going to be a good trip, perhaps. Winona whistled merrily, leaning back and taking a drink from her water container.

After receiving the message, the passengers from the other ship were allowed to board. They were told to go to the meeting room where the commander and Victor were waiting for them.

Hector boarded the ship alone and was lead to the commander's room. Upon entering, she greeted the officers and turned to the commander. "Pardon my intrusion." She said with a light accent. "I am the commander of that ship. We are here to deliver a message to your king, but we are having some problems navigating because we don't know the terrain well. We were wondering if you could give us some directions to the capital." She explained sweetly.

"I would like to read the message, just to make sure it is valid" the commander stated.
Victor stood up and walked over to Hector to take the message from her and give it to the commander.

"I'm sorry. I don't carry the message with me." She lied. "But if you have any doubts, then this should be your proof." She said, showing a royal seal that gave them permission to travel between borders for political business. Such things were extremely rare, and the date on it was still valid. "Now, if you please, would you please escort us further?"

Thank you for reading my mind. I was planning on having Danny stick with Ruby in this RP but the 'getting captured' thing gives him something to do if they ever get separated =w= ))

Victor took the seal and presented it to the commander who looked it over for a moment. He then returned it to Hector.
"Very well. You shall be escorted directly to the capital, now that we have proof that you are allies" the commander said.
Victor escorted Hector and her crew back to her ship.

"Ahh... thank you." Hector replied as she was escorted back to her ship. "So are you going to ride with us?" She asked Victor as she boarded her ship.
"Boring... boring..." Ruby muttered, as she rode about the skies in her small but fast and sturdy air ship she built herself. "Oh look-y there. Looks like some pirates scored some good loot. Talk about luck!" She said, flagging down the pirate ship. "Hello boys!" She called as she latched onto and boarded the pirate ship.
