Too bad, start over. 10 – You found a safe zone, you’re safe in the next instance you roll 3-seens in a row or you roll a ‘get grabbed’! Taking a quick look around, noting the landmarks around his hidden safe spot, Sheridan climbed back down from the branches to the forest floor. Scanning one way, then the other, he darted behind a nearby tree, pausing as a patrol passed nearby, then quickly moving to another tree in the opposite direction. Pausing, he picked up another trinket, then ducked behind the next tree, dodging a low branch before darting behind a rock. (( trinkets: 5 seen: 0 safe zone: unused ))

	Silently he moved from alcove under the willow tree, pausing to be certain he was alone before moving to a large tree across the path. Concluding he would need to move further toward the forest's interior to find the trinkets, he chose a path that led deeper into the trees. His steps were rewarded, finding another pumpkin shaped trinket a short distance down the path. (( trinkets: 6 seen: 0 safe zone: unused (x2) ))

	He moved as silently as he could, keeping to his chosen path, though every few steps he stopped, ducked behind a tree or boulder, and searched for any sign of the wandering patrols. They moved entirely too quietly through the forest and far too swiftly, perhaps there were more of them lurking in the forest than he had initially thought. His thoughts were interrupted by the glint of color that caught his eye, another trinket collected and added to his collection. (( trinkets: 7 seen: 0 safe zone: unused (x2) ))

	His breath nearly caught in his throat, his tail jerked into the branches he had chosen to hide in barely a moment before the lights of a patrol came into view. Silently he crouched in the branches, not daring to move. He relaxed only when it became clear the thing had not seen him, continuing its patrol further into the trees, oblivious that its target was right above it. A quiet sigh, he looked to the branches above, catching sight of another trinket hidden in the crook of the tree. Collecting the trinket, he placed it in his pocket before carefully, and quietly, climbing down from the tree and back to the ground. (( trinkets: 8 seen: 0 safe zone: unused (x2) ))

	He reached the base of an enormous tree, its branches spreading out and across a wide expanse of the forest. The tree was massive, its branches large enough for even a dragon to move through without fear of falling. Pausing for a moment, as if debating the idea, he climbed into the tree to stand on one of the large branches. Even from here, he could only see a short distance through the forest, the trees were far too dense to see further. But taking the path along the branches would keep him above the ground, and hopefully out of the path of the patrols. Reaching up to a higher branch for a handhold, he found another trinket hidden among the leaves. (( trinkets: 9 seen: 0 safe zone: unused (x2) ))

	He swore as he reached the end of the branch, he could no further in the canopy above. Another draconic swear as a twig snapped under his feet, immediately alerting a nearby patrol to his presence. He snarled, glaring at the approaching light and the accompanying squawking sound. Stupid thing! Quickly turning, he ducked behind a large tree, darting between the trunks of the forest, trying to shake his pursuer. (( trinkets: 9 seen: 1 safe zone: unused (x2) ))

	SNARL! GO THE HELL AWAY! Jack damn it! The infernal thing had led another straight to him and now they were both on his trail! He really hated those things, HATED THEM! Were he not more occupied with eluding them through the densely packed trees, making his way back toward the outer perimeter, he would have turned and fried them into oblivion! 	As he ran, he reached for a branch above him, pulling himself up and swinging into the heavy boughs of the tree. Silently he climbed higher, then crossed one thick branch into the branches of another tree. Gazing down, he saw the patrols searching for him around the trunk of the first tree, seeming to have lost his trail. Keeping to the tree tops, he moved across the branches, climbing and descending the trees as needed to reach the branches that supported his weight. On his trek, he found another trinket, pocketing it quickly then moving to the next branch. (( trinkets: 10 seen: 0 safe zone: unused (x2) ))

	The dragon growled as he descended the last tree, nearly landing directly one one of the passing patrols as he reached for the ground. The thing immediately began squawking, his brilliant light blinding in his silver eyes. Jack damn it! How many of those infernal things were there?! (( trinkets: 10 seen: 1 safe zone: unused (x2) ))

	He quickly leapt over the patrol, darting through the forest, ducking behind a tree, darting to the next, sliding under a bush, around a corner, over a rock, and plunging into a fog back to escape the patrol. Crouching low, he waited, only daring to look move again when he saw the light of the patrol move off, melting away in the dense fog. Placing his hand on a rock, he touched an object, another trinket. The object collected, he moved further into the fog bank, further away (hopefully) from the patrol. 	He slunk through the fog, staying low to the ground, moving as quietly as he could. The fog seemed to absorb sound, even his steps through the dried leaves and the swish of his tail making no sound. The advantage was that the patrols did not hear him, the disadvantage was that he could not hear them either nor could he see them. It was by feel that he moved through the fog, following what path he could find until he nearly stumbled over a ditch. Reaching out his hand to catch himself, he found another pumpkin shaped trinket hidden among the leaves and twigs. (( trinkets: 12 seen: 0 safe zone: unused (x2) ))

	The fog began to to thin, he could see further into the dark forest, the noise under his feet suddenly seeming more prominent. He lingered at the edge, waiting until he was certain it was clear before climbing over the large boulder in his path. He stood perched there for a moment then slid to the other side, his hand finding another trinket along the way. (( trinkets: 13 seen: 0 safe zone: unused (x2) ))

	He had lingered too long, finding himself in the bright light of a patrol as he rounded a tree. Jack damn it! Those things were persistent! Silently he wondered if this was one he had seen before or if it was an entirely different one. Swearing, he scrambled back behind the tree, darting down the opposite path, the patrol squawking and screaming as it followed his trail. (( trinkets: 13 seen: 1 safe zone: unused (x2) ))

	Swiftly he moved down the path, darting back toward the outer edges of the forest, weaving through the trees and thickets in his path. Under a bush, over a large branch, and a quick leap into the high branches of a tree. He jumped from that tree, to a next, using his wings to glide silently from tree to tree, leaving the pursuing patrol behind. Looking toward the base of the tree he now perched in, he spotted another trinket nestled among the moss at its base. Silently he climbed to the lower branches until he could reach down and collect the trinket. (( trinkets: 14 seen: 0 safe zone: unused (x2) ))
