"Ah..." He scratches his head thoughtfully. "I suppose the obvious choice would be Bix, since he's my best mate, but he does his own thing, and if he ever got a lady friend, that would be awkward (considering he is what he calls a 'ladies man.' But I'm not too picky, really. Anyone who doesn't mind living with me and who doesn't make a ridiculous amount of noise early in the morning is all right with me."
The next question makes him pause a moment, tilting his head a little. "I suppose...I just wanted to do something for myself. I've spent a long time having to prove myself to people, and this was something I wanted to prove to myself. A project of mine, I suppose. I don't hate much about living there (though the fog dragon was really very unnecessary). I like being able to do things for myself, really."
"If I won the lottery...well, I'd probably buy myself a vacation.
"...and some tea. Maybe I'd buy Caelius a vacation.
He raises a brow. "Pet peeves? Does Caelius count as one? If so, he's number one in my book. Other than that, I'm not a big fan of when people crack their knuckles, or when people chew with their mouth open."

What do you hate the most about Caelius and why do you hate him? If you could send him anywhere, where would you send him? If you could have a vacation, where would you go and why? I take it you aren't a morning person? Do you sleep in or do you have a hard time waking up? Do you stay up late or go to bed early? Do you not bring lady friends over to your house or plan to?

The first thing Gale would notice is that the camera is still rolling.
"Gale!" Mark runs towards him, though half his face is obscured by the semi-large and extremely bulky Runic camcorder. "Okay, lets just say, in theory that someone who just happens to be my senior and just happens to be extremely moody all the time just happens to die. Like, in theory okay. In that case, I would be looking for a minio- err I mean an assistant, and of course you popped to mind cuz you're like.... short... and stuff.. well anyway don't sweat the details." The camera was still rolling. "I just want to know what you'd do for me."

There's a dry tone to his voice now. "I suppose I don't hate Caelius. More like sometimes I wish he would treat us, you know, like we were human beings. If I could send him anywhere it would be somewhere sunny. Where, you know, he could get some sun. As for me, I'd probably go back to England...although now that I think of it, it would probably be a bad idea.
"Not a morning person, no. I like my sleep, and while I don't sleep late, I don't enjoy being woken up by anything other than myself. I would prefer to be woken up by my own doing.
"I do tend to stay up too late, though."
A long pause.
"What lady friends."

Lan says it's better to look a bit weird then be walking around with a stain on the hem of one's robes. PS: Your hair pin is just slightly off center and to the left. (And then she casually leaves to go fix her dress oh god why)

Since you don't want lady friends, do you want to have lady friends to bring over to your place? Do you get jealous of Bix for being a lady's man? What do you do late at night? If going to England wasn't a problem, what would you do? What do you miss about England? If you could have any (non-minipet) pet, what pet would you have and why? What would you name it?

"I'd do whatever it took," he said finally, though there was a very suspicious expression on his face. "Well. I mean. I'd do my best.

"I, er...sleep? Or read, I guess, if I've got a good book.
"I would go visit the Thames. It's not exactly the most beautiful place, but I used to sit in a small cafe alongside it and read. I suppose that's what I miss the most, is just the environment of England.
"Ah...probably a dog. I never got a chance to have one when I was a child, and I always wanted one. Something like a German Shepard or a Husky...not sure on the name, though, not until I saw it."
