he picked riolu off of her, "Go look for holes." Riolu nodded as he began climbing the walls, searching for holes as he began helping set up the sleeping bags to lay on. afterwards he began cooking dinner for them. soon the entire cave was warm and bright with activity.

Sakura sat by the fire eating with Alex and the other pokemon. SHe still seemed uneasy. Sebastian rubbed her back trying to calm her. Her other pokemon stayed around her trying to do the same. They hated seeing her this scared.

riolu saw her still uneasy and ate his food by her, on the opposite side of sebastion. he touched her leg, giving her a brave and reassuring aura.

alex looked at her, "You're safe now. riolu checked and didn't find another hole besides that one." He said pointing at the hole were the angry looking shinryu laid, blocking the entry way.

Sakura smiled down at Riolu. "Thanks Riolu." She said and hugged him before listening to Alex. "Inferno might be able to move some of those rocks with strength and rock smash. Maybe we wouldn't have to go down there." She said and looked at Inferno who looked ready to help his trainer. Sakura smiled an uneasy smile and giggled at him. The she heard her worst fear, Zubat and Golbat. She froze as they were overhead of them, watching. She began to shake as she hugged Sebastian and he let her bury her face in his fur growling at the pokemon above them.

he looked up, "Damn... Alastor, thunderbolt! Get those pokemon outta here."

After quite a few shocks, the zubats and golbats fled. alex then turned to riolu and ifrit, "Ok guys. riolu, spray every hole with these. if any pokemon come out, attack them ifrit." They both nodded and took off.

alex then moved back over to sakura, wrapping his arm around her, "They're gone, Sakura."

"Sorry to cause you so much trouble, Alex." Sakura said looking at him. Sebastian went to make sure there were no other pokemon in the area. He hated seeing Sakura this scared though it was the first time she had been around him. Sakura then looked at Alex. SHe was terrified of any kind fo bat pokemon thanks to those Zubat and Golbat that attacked her when she was trapped. But she hoped to over come those fear someeday.

he shook his head, "You're not a pain, Sakura." he kept his arms tightly around her as he smiled gently. he then looked at her, "Um if you get scared, you can sleep with me."

'Thanks." She said shyly. She then stayed close to him feeling better knwoing that he was there. She loved him but was too afraid to say anything first just in case he didn't return her love. Later on at bed time, Riolu was snuggled up to Sakura who pet him until he fell asleep. She had her sleeping bag next to Alex just in case. Sebastian lat Sakura use him for a pillow for security reasons. He knew she felt better when he elt her do that. Plus he didn't mind it. She was soon asleep hugging Riolu with one arm carefully so as not to choke him or hurt him. She was still scared so she woke up from time to whenever she heard something but knew that Ifrit was on watch with Inferno. She felt as if she was causing trouble for everyone and that she would be scared of caves forever.

Towards the middle of the night, Alex woke up to the fire slowly going out. He then climbed out of bed and had Ifrit use ember to light the fire up again. All went well as he climbed into bed, then realized he couldn't fall asleep. He then quietly rolled over and looked at Sakura as she slept.

Sakura was sound asleep feeling better now that she knew Alex was protecting her. Sebastian was curled around her letting her and Riolu sleep in his fur. Sakura smiled as she slept loving that she wasn't alone. She knew Alex cared but didn't know how much.

Sakura was sound asleep feeling better now that she knew Alex was protecting her. Sebastian was curled around her letting her and Riolu sleep in his fur. Sakura smiled as she slept loving that she wasn't alone. She knew Alex cared but didn't know how much.

He watched her sleep. She looked so peaceful to him, he didn't want her to wake. Before he knew it he had been starring at her for an hour. He then rolled over, wondering if she felt the same way about him...

The next morning Sakura was awake and was makling breakfast. The pokemon including Alex's pokemon were eating. She then went over to Shinryu and gave him some pokemon food. "Here you go." She said with a smile and placed it in front of him before backing up and going over to the food she was making for her and Alex. Riolu was helping her.

The next morning Sakura was awake and was makling breakfast. The pokemon including Alex's pokemon were eating. She then went over to Shinryu and gave him some pokemon food. "Here you go." She said with a smile and placed it in front of him before backing up and going over to the food she was making for her and Alex. Riolu was helping her.

Alex laid sleeping, as the pokemon slept. However, as he did so, a baby zubat had found its way into the cave. Curious about the smell, it crept closer to the food, but kept at a distance. It was tiny, probably just a hatchling.

Sakura saw the baby Zubat and started to shake as she froze. She screamed a little but didn't want to wake Alex but was scared. She covered her mouth and said "Go on, shoo." She then waved a shooing motion to the Zubat.

The baby zubat scurryed back a little bit, but few seconds later it was slowly crawling back to the food. It eyed the food curiously and hungrily.
