[HH 2v2] One Last Time (Wilson/Jake/Shun/Xiu) FIN

Between the poisonous mist and her pounding head, it was starting to get a little hard for Xiu to focus. As a result, although she very clearly felt the attack, a hiss of pain escaping her lips, she was not entirely sure as to where it had come from. As she tried to search for Wilson, she found herself stumbling out of the mist and into one of the sole areas that was still relatively clear, bumping into a familiar figure.

"Sorry," She grumbled automatically when she realized it was Shun, casting him a quick look, "Hang in there, just let me...get rid of this threat and we can leave."

And then she was back inside the cloud. Perking up as she caught sight of a shadow, she instinctively kicked her leg out, feeling it collide with something solid.

Another light blow. And another smirk from the hunter. Shun still didn't bother to reply with words. There wasn't much of a point to it as far as he was concerned. However, hearing Xiu did cause for some sort of reply.

"I'm fine. Worry about your own battle," he hissed to the Baku. Turning back towards the hunter, he lashed out, but struck nothing. Letting out a breath, he stepped back again to watch him carefully. He was going to need to focus here.

He could feel her still here, but Wilson failed to spot her silhouette inside the cloud. For a moment he merely stood in place, spinning around wildly as he tried to search for her. Then he began to wander around the room until he spotted both the reaper and Jake. The other hunter brought him back for a second, but the arrival of the girl pulled him back into paranoid daze.

Wilson sunk back into the mist. He took a step back when he felt her kick, but took the opportunity to throw a handful of gas into her face.

Her concerned thoughts temporarily flickered to her "big brother" before was pulled back by Wilson's attack, her eyes widening in shock as the blast of poison was released directly in front of her. Choking and coughing, she clumsily stumbled to her feet, roughly elbowing the Hunter aside as she tried to quickly stagger to a spot that was less contaminated.

The mist was also making it harder for her to tell who was who in this stupid place. She would have to start being a little more careful lest she accidentally attack Shun--it was a little hard to differentiate the three males when it felt like the world around her was beginning to spin.

Visibility was indeed getting lower thanks to the other hunter. It wouldn't be as much of a problem if they were outdoor, but no. They were stuck inside the house. With any luck the gas would choke out the tonfa hunter as well. Narrowing his eye, he let out a hiss as he took another cut. Most likely he was going to need some bandages later. While he didn't bother checking right now, Shun wouldn't be too surprised if he was bleeding here or there.

In any case, the noxious fog that was in the area wasn't too much of a problem. The Reaper had trained in being able to fight in darkness... this wasn't too much of a difference. Rather than letting it be a hindrance, he decided to try and make due with what he had, listening carefully for where his target may be.

Quickly, he shifted off to the side, aiming to flank the blue haired hunter, then moved to try and stab him from behind with both blades.

He took a few steps back from her hit, but it barely fazed him. “Too much for you?” he wondered quietly. She would never know if he was mildly concerned, apathetic, or amused. All she would see was Wilson pointing his weapon at her again so he could fire off another round of gas at her.

Too much? No. At least, she wasn't about to admit anytime soon that that the attacks were slowly whittling her down, her vision blurring the longer she stayed in this contaminated place.

Noticing a shadow nearby, she moved forward to strike, assuming that it was Wilson. However, right as she threw out a fist, she realized that the figure did not belong to the hunter she had been going after, but Jake. There was a moment of pause as her fist stopped, hovering in front of his face, and then she let out a growl and pushed him aside.

Damnit. Damnit, where was he!?

He had met his mark, though soon Shun felt himself on the receiving end of those strangling tendrils once more. With a grimace, he struggled against them, trying to cut them away or do anything really. It was a fairly futile attempt, however.

In the thick gas, he also saw a flash of pink lash towards his target. He didn't realize that Xiu had some trouble figuring out who she was trying to hit, and as a result he had to wonder if it looked like he was having that much trouble fending himself against the hunter. He might have tried to say something, but getting cut off from his air supply kept him from speaking. The only thing that came out of him were just various strangled noises and gags.

The girl refused to respond. Well, Wilson hadn’t expected a response in the first place. She disappeared into the mist a second time. The hunter narrowed his eyes as he tried to follow her. He let out a low chuckle as soon as she found the student with her fist in front of Jake, but as she pushed him aside, Wilson rushed in and pushed her back with his canons. “Watch it.”

She bit back a yelp as she felt something roughly shove her to the side, staggering as she struggled to keep her balance. Although her head was swimming, she couldn't deny the sheer strength and clarity of the anger that continued to rush through her. Damn this mist, damn this hunter, damn it all! Now that she had been vaguely reminded of the fact that both Shun and Jake were here too--she had been too caught up in her single-minded fight before--it only served as a catalyst for further anger. Shun was stuck in this room that was filling with poisonous mist because of...

...Well, the correct answer would have been because of her, since she had been the one to inevitably bring him here in the first place, but in her mind, everything was Wilson's fault. That was how her mind was justifying some of the violent blows she had dealt him earlier. Moving to a wall, she used it as support to prop herself up as she searching aimlessly for his shadow throughout the mist.

Despite the circumstances, she couldn't help but let out a sharp, disgusted laugh. "Coward. We should be fighting head to head, and yet here you are, relying on some poison gas to win this fight," She spat, her voice venomous, "Before long, I won't be the only one to fall either. At the rate this is going, you'll be pulling two civilians into this too."
