Azenal slipped out of his window, the demonic blood becoming to much to bear and he let his blood thirst take over. He slipped down the castle with ease and landed quickly. He gave a curt chuckle and slipped towards town. The brunette he could see in his demons eye. The drow part wanted to understand what on earth could drive the girl from his and her shared home, and wanted to know what could please such a pretty girl about death and decay. He did however remember clearly how he had found her. So alone with rotting corpses laying everywhere, some charred. He had been drawn there by the blood and decay. But found the young version of the beauty in his castle. At first he had let her be there so that he would have something to entertain him for awhile, but it came down to he became her protector and kind of.... Obsessive.

Winter did not bother with the market stalls today, nor did she bother talking with the local villagers all that much. She had been rather stressed with Azenal's pestering about her leaving the castle and the arguements that sometime erupted from it, naturally making the symptoms of her illness more severe and of course far more difficult to hide. The good doctor should have his hands free today, or so she hoped. If not, then she would be thankful that she had made sure to bring plenty of gold as incentive for his time. Instinctively she ran her hand over the pocket of her skirt, making sure that her gold was indeed still there before hurriedly knocking upon the physician's door.

Azenal found himself staring at the back of his target's head. The hair was not as long nor wavy as Winter's, but it still make him want to squish it. He growled slightly and the girl turned. He gave a smile as if he was sorry for startling her and the girl returned his smile in kind before walking along. He had stalked his prey the entire night and this was where he would have his fun.

((I'm tempted to have him see her :3 )

Winter rapped loudly upon the doctor's door, determined to deny her disease the chance to overtake her in the presence of others. The doctor would, hopefully, waste no time in answering - for Winter had a very unique knock that anyone who knew her could reccognise in a heartbeat. It carried the tune of a lullaby her mother used to sing her to sleep with before the bandit raid that completely changed her life. In fact, Winter had a wide array of...unique habits such as this. But that's besides the point. Winter knocked and knocked and knocked, growing more and more fearful and impatient as time went along. The doctor wasn't answering. Perhaps he wasn't there? Maybe he went shopping? Oh, gods she hoped he was just out temporarilly.

Azenal turned a corner behind the brunette and heard a familiar rapping. It increased in volume and necessity. Once it stopped he looked around. Not exactly able to pinpoint the tapping. Nor where he had heard it. He started back after his target and was confused. There were two...

{I'm so sorry I haven't posted sooner. Life's been getting pretty hectic for me lately.}

Winter let out a whimper just before she was approached by one of the local village males, one whom she'd become acquainted with during one of her many visits to the good doctor's home. They talked for a moment, mainly about said doctor's whereabouts and when he might possibly return. The maiden was thankful to hear that he wasn't dead, but couldn't help but feel a tingle of fear and panic when she was told he might not return for several weeks. She bit her lip, unsure as to whether or not she had enough meds to last until his return. Winter could not speak to his apprentices, for she didn't trust them. Not only that, but she didn't need the whole village gossiping about her illness. Word got around rather quickly in these parts, and she could only imagine how badly things would turn out in the rare scenario in which Azenal might have overheard them at the worst possible time.

Azenal watched as both women were spoken too. One his target the other was either Winter or her exact twin... He watched as the 'twin' bit her lip. Losing complete interest in the target, azenal stepped closer to pin point voice...
