Cortona giggled as she played with the butterfly then it landed on her soldier and she sat down next to John before the butterfly landed on Cortona's finger. She giggled saying "It tickles master." She then placed the butterfly on his nose wanting him to smile.

He slowly began to wander what he should do. He let the butterfly fly away and watched it. "u should always let wild things be free never cage them" He slowly began to tickle her a little to see what reaction he could get out of her.

Cortona giggled when he tickled her. Then she said "Is master happy?" She loved when he was happy but wondered why he never smiled. SHe then tilted her head wondering what she could do to make him smile.

He did not smile because that was a part of his training but he would share emotions with her and he never lied to her. "U know your the only one who makes me happy" He began to pet under her chin before laying back on the grass. He wandered if it would be a good idea to bring her to school?

Cortona hugged him after he pet her under her chin. Then she giggled and purred as she laid in the grass with him. She nuzzled John knowing that he never lied to her. She liked that about him. "Mew." She said as she looked at him. She loved how gentle he was with her. But then she heard someone talking as tehy were being watched by the other soldiers in training. She got shy and sat up with her ears against her head.

John slowly got up and went with her back inside. He went to his room and began to make his bed. He decided each year to give her a birthday present because he felt like they had the same birthday since she was given to him on his birhtday. He slowly put a small box on the bed that had a necklace for her in it.

Cortona then came into the room and had a box in her hands. She then tapped his shoulder and was holding the box behind her back saying "Cortona has something for master." She was being cute. She then held out the box that had a necklace for boys that he wanted inside.

Time went by and John always would wear the necklace. He had cortona put into special training. John was soon shipped off and sent to war. He eventually came back in a frozen pod injured and the pod was stuck some where on the earth with a signal that she could find. She became very important and was the creator of other ai's but she was the special one.

Right now Cortona was in her's and John's room. She was told he was dead and now she didn't smile at all. She could feel his presence inside her heart. Almost as if she knew where he was. She then snuck out of the base and managed to get passed security and all the traps for the enemies. She was looking for John. She had grown so much. She was sad that she couldn't protect him. As she searched she hugged the necklace that she always wore. She never took it off in his loving memory. That night when she decided to rest after she had gotten so far. She was right on top of John's resting place. SHe began to dig the next morning and eventually she got to John. She looked inside the tube and a tear feel down her cheek. "Master........" She said and rubbed his cheek with her hand her heart feeling like it would break just from the sight of him.

Right now Cortona was in her's and John's room. She was told he was dead and now she didn't smile at all. She could feel his presence inside her heart. Almost as if she knew where he was. She then snuck out of the base and managed to get passed security and all the traps for the enemies. She was looking for John. She had grown so much. She was sad that she couldn't protect him. She was right on top of John's resting place. SHe began to dig the next morning and eventually she got to John. She looked inside the tube and a tear feel down her cheek. "Master........" She said and rubbed his cheek with her hand her heart feeling like it would break just from the sight of him.

John was in a deep sleep and had no idea what had happen. He was injured but he had accrued a few new things on his adventures. He was one of the last of his breed of Spartans. When he heard the voice he was in a dream that was imaginative. He slowly began to wake up and punch out of the glass. He slowly got out of his coffin and put her on his back. He slowly began to pet her under her chin and was now7'3 but that was with the suite on. He slowly began to walk back to base. He had no fear now since he had experienced everything.

Cortona smiled as she hugged him crying. She was happy that he was with her, that he still remembered her. But you could see scars from all the work they put her through and the scars from her training. She had a cut from the glass on her cheek but didn't care about that even though it was bleeding.She just hugged him crying her eyes out as she sat on his back. "Master! I missed you so much. When they told me what happened........I stopped smiling. I just felt alone but I knew you were still alive. I had hoped you would come back. I'm just glad that your okay." She said as she sniffled and noticed his wound. She began to wrap it after cleaning it out as gently as she could but her tears still falling from her eyes.

He slowly began to wander what he should do. He took out some medicine and he put it on to her face to the cut would heal and not scar her. He slowly walk back to the base and stopped by the entranced and sat down. He was to weak right now to do much.

Cortona walked next to him and nuzzled up to him when he sat down. She had missed him so much. The guards came out and helped them into the base. Cortona treated his wounds and saw that he was still wearing the necklace he gave her. She still had her's on and it was showing around her neck. She was smiling slightly which was weird for everyone around her to see. "I can't believe it. Cortona is smiling. That's a shocker." One person said bringing her a wrap so she could properly dress the wound on his arm.

John would not remove his armour it had grown on him and he did not want anybody to see what he looked like. He soon was treated and he lay in bed. He began to wander what he should do. It was late and night and he really could not go any where.

Cortona then came into his room and snuggled up to him feeling lonely in their old room. She began to purr and laid her head on his shoulder like she used to and went to sleep.
