Sirius - Ring of Evil

[Keimiku]

"Oh how delightful."

 

[Vivant Reve]

He smiles brightly

"Excelent!"

With a flash he suddenly disappears. Then suddenly out of nowhere a hat appears in mid air. Out of the hat comes one hand. The hand taps gently on the hat rim. Suddenly another gloved hand rises sheepishly. The first hand slaps the second as if to wake it up. Then both hands begin to pull eggs out from the hat and juggle them for a bit. Then the eggs fall back into the hat and the hat hits the floor. One by one several giant balls appear stacked one on top of the other from the hat, and upon them, balancing perfectly with only a finger, Oliver reappears juggling the eggs with his feet. He holds his hat out in his left hand. Still balancing, he cracks the eggs into his hat with his toes. He places the hat on top of his head and when he pulls it off several birds of many colors burst forth and suddenly he is one his feet once again. He continues to perform small feats of acrobatics for his private audience for another hour. He finishes his performance with a bow, pulling a large red rose seemingly from Damara's ear and offers it to her.

Walking down the halls Celer twitches from the memories. His only companions no longer living, he searches these halls for some new purpose buried within the ashes of his old life.

Death is such a particular thing. Is it a wall that ends our path, or a door to another? Is it an edge to fall off or a ladder to climb? People die. I haven't died, but everyone else did. What does one do after everyone dies? Should I just hang around and wait until I die? Should I just finish the process now and get it over with? I don't know what's worse, the boredom or the solitude. Maybe they're the same. Maybe death isn't so important. Maybe it's just a silly little thing that happens from time to time. Memories are nice, but new ones can be made just as easily with new people. Then when I die, it'll just be another silly little event in the grand scheme of silly little events. So maybe I should look at the World with a new plight, the silly little plight of life, and how to solve it. Should I help things live or help things die? Maybe I can do both. But what of the Ring? She's gotten rather small hasn't she...She's the same size in mass, but this b***h once burned a nation to the ground, and now she just rests at home. That War is a tough act to follow..Maybe she's needed here, here in Sirius...Maybe

Celer notices a familiar door. He pauses and stares at it for a while. He hears voices again, but he's not sure what direction they're coming from. He starts to question their legitimacy.  

[Keimiku]

Damara makes a slight smile.

"Thank you, it's beautiful. It smells like a red rose, my favorite color. Blood red."

 

[Vivant Reve]

"Why your welcome, I thought it might please you. How was my little performance? I did a few experimental bits that I haven't put into my act yet."

His left eye felt a twitch he ignored it but put it to the back of his mind. He puts his hat back on and sits down again.  

[Keimiku]

Damara laughs.

"I have no idea if it was good, sir. I didn't see a thing."

She begins to laugh harder.

"I'm afraid your efforts were wasted on me."

 

[Vivant Reve]

He cracks a smirk.

" Well you are laughing non the less and I'm sure the sounds were exciting enough."  

[Keimiku]

"I suppose so... when is the real show starting? I could just go back to Jego and set up shop again... It's fun seeing that little aristocrat boy chase after his horse."

 

[Vivant Reve]

He stands up effortlessly and removes his hat once again.

"It honestly shouldn't be long if you want to go to the main tent. Other guests should be showing up by now. It is up to you but I believe the show is worth experiencing. Something brought you here for a reason."  

[Keimiku]

"That or my mind was bored and desired a change of pace. You never know. Would you be a gentleman and escort me back?"

 

[Vivant Reve]

"But of course."

Once again Oliver pulls the stool out of his hat and sets it down. He turns and reaches his hand toward her seated figure in an offer to take her arm. He nods lightly.

"Shall we?"  

[Keimiku]

"We shall."
Damara grabs hold of Oliver's arm.

 

[Vivant Reve]

He guides her once again through the hat, pulling it behind them. They are now in front of the city's corner stone.

"Here we are."  

[Keimiku]

"Merci."

Damara disappears just as quickly as she came in to The Ring.
