Estelle closed the door behind her, joggling the handle to make sure it locked. She turned to walk down the hallway before her attention was captured by the waitress stepping off of the elevator on the other end. Spotting a small random alcove in the wall, Estelle dashed into it.

Once she found a comfortable position to stand in the alcove, Estelle peered around the corner of the wall to look down the hallway at the waitress walking down the hallway towards her.

Wait... is that a Sonic Screwdriver in her hand? thought Estelle. Who the hell is this woman?!

"Doctor, the signal has moved" A robotic voice spoke from Jane's cell phone. Jane took the device from her pocket. "Don't think it is a threat, right?" she aked the phone. "Negative. Signal is neither Cyberman, or Dalak. But all the same you should still be careful. I also detect a malfunction with the elevator."

Jane signed. "So if I need if run I'd first have to locate stairs I suppose"

Woodson walking down the hall saw the elevator was now up on his floor and he was kind of relieved as this meant he didn't have to walk downstairs. A woman was talking on the phone and he couldn't tell what they were saying, only a few words. Dalek, elevator, and that's about it. He was called in to do an inspection on the old elevator and good thing he got there that night. "Good evening." He said with a smile

Estelle's eyes widened further hearing a robotic voice coming from the waitress' cell phone and it addressing the woman as 'Doctor'. Confusion continued to appear across her facial features as she heard the robotic voice state that a signal was neither Cyberman or Dalek.

Signal? What signal? asked Estelle. She glanced down at her Vortex Manipulator, pressing a few buttons searching for signals herself. Besides the obvious signatures coming from the blue police box and the Sonic Screwdriver, there was nothing else she could pick up. Estelle hoped that her gadget wasn't missing any other signals that she should be worried about.

Estelle pushed a button causing the screen of her Vortex Manipulator to flicker off as she refocused on the waitress. Her eyes drifted over to a man who walked past the waitress towards the elevator as he spoke a greeting in the woman's direction.

"Good evening" Jane greeted cheerfully. As her phone suddenly declared, "Signal lost" Whatever it could have been appears aware of her presence. Perhaps a vacation was in order. There was a nice spa somewhere out there.

Upon hearing the waitress' phone announce that the signal was lost, Estelle wasn't sure what to do now. It all depended on what the waitress' next move was going to be. Glancing out of the corner of her eye behind her, Estelle was glad to see that there was a painting hung on the wall.

At least I have an excuse set up for being in this little alcove, if she decides to continue walking down the hallway and discovers me, thought Estelle, turning her attention back to the waitress.

Woodson gets to the elevator and starts to look at the door a bit before hitting the button to open it. "Odd.." He says in a low voice, but doesn't say why. He gets in and opens a panel to start working on the cables.

"So the elevator is broken? How unfortunate" Jane commented. Before walking down the hall. She noticed a vending machine where they kept the ice. She went in there to get a soda. She didn't seem to notice Estelle at all.

Ugh... enough of this, thought Estelle, as she watched the waitress stick around in the hallway. While Jane was distracted by using the vending machine, Estelle slipped out of the alcove to start creeping past the woman towards the doorway that led to the stairs. She wasn't sure where she would go, Estelle just knew that she kept getting weird vibes from the waitress and it bothered her. Especially when the woman talked about Daleks and Cybermen like they were normal occurrences in her life when she lived in a world where such villains were simply characters of a television series.

After buying the soda. She noticed someone walking away. They appear to be leaving. She followed after hoping this person would lead her to the stairs.

Estelle pushed the door open to the stairs and started her descent down them. Her attention was captured when she heard the door close for a second time behind her. Glancing over her shoulder, she saw the waitress a ways behind her. She quickened her pace down the stairs to see whether the woman was actually following her or if it was just coincidence that they were both using the stairs. Especially since the elevator mysteriously stopped working after the waitress had gotten off it earlier.

Jane appears relieved when she got to the stairs. And started downstairs. Since there was no reason to stay here she wasn't going to. Eventually she'd get to the bottom floor she'd went for the police box.

Estelle glanced over her shoulder again as she came to the bottom of the last flight of stairs seeing that she had left the waitress behind. A sigh of relief escaped her as she pushed the door open to step into lobby. She crossed the way heading towards the front doors.

"Have a good day, miss!" called out the hotel lady from the counter.

Estelle looked over at her with mild surprise before flashing a smile in response. Once she made it through the front doors, Estelle found herself standing across the sidewalk from where the blue police box had landed. She watched as pedestrians walked passed it, not even acknowledging that the blue box was there when it didn't used to be. When a break occurred, Estelle stepped across the sidewalk to start walking around the police box, finding herself once again taking in every detail.

Jane Smith. Waitress from the Blue Box, thought Estelle, not surprised that the Doctor's voice seemed to echo along with her thoughts. Who are you?

Jane inside the Tardis rested in a bedroom. She was ready to fall asleep. The day was quite tiring. She hoped whatever that signal came from isn't going to be a threat. With her luck something bad is going to happen. But what?

Estelle stopped walking around the blue box knowing that there was nothing different or new from her earlier observations of the TARDIS. She sighed as she glanced down at her watch seeing that it was close to dinner time. Looking over towards the hotel doors, confusion briefly came across her features as she wondered whether the waitress had come out of the hotel or not. She pushed the questioning thought aside as she turned her attention towards where she wanted to go for food; Estelle made the assumption that the woman probably came out when she was the other side of the TARDIS.

Turning away from the TARDIS, Estelle made her way down the sidewalk. Weaving through the streets of London with no troubles, she worked her way towards one of her favorite places that served delicious fish and chips. Although she was in a different universe, Estelle was glad that she could still feel somewhat at home with so many familiar sights and places. For someone like her - a time and space traveling companion - it meant a lot when she felt the sense of comfort and security, the sense that she was at home.

It was a few hours later when Estelle had walked back towards her hotel, the stars twinkling in the night sky above her. Although the walk and night air was refreshing, Estelle could feel that she was growing tired. She didn't even bother checking to see if the elevator had been fixed since she had left; she instantly took the stairs enjoying the exercise it provided. Once in her room, Estelle took no time to change for bed. Within minutes of sliding underneath the blankets of her room, Estelle feel asleep.

Glimpses of fleeting images passed through her dreams leaving Estelle - both in dream and reality form - confused. The only part of the kaleidoscope dreams that she recognized were two figures that kept appearing in them - the Doctor and River Song. Consistently Estelle found herself as a ghost figure in scenes where the Doctor and River Song were parents to a young child; they never seemed to notice her presence. Estelle desperately tried to find some clue to who the young child was but to no avail. After all the time she had spent traveling with the two, Estelle had never heard of them mention a child they had together; Estelle knew the Doctor had several children of his own, that was no secret, but besides them he never mentioned any other kids. Maybe this dream wasn't a reflection of reality, maybe it was just a combination of Estelle's mysterious past of not knowing her own biological parents and always feeling like the Doctor and River took on parental roles for Estelle at times. Still... Estelle found it odd that she consistently had these same dreams over and over.

Estelle woke up to the sun shining through the curtains of the window in her room. Although the spoken context from her dreams drifted away, the images of the Doctor, River Song, and the mysterious child continued to shine in her thoughts. She pushed herself up into a sitting position and looked around the room. What was she going to do now? Estelle wasn't used to living a domestic lifestyle - staying in one place for a long period of time.
