A hesitant, but eager, smile had begun to grow on Thrain's face and despite his efforts to look collective and nonchalant, he was failing miserably to express either. The way Lady Yuzhi acted, bashful turning into excitement that melted seamlessly in hesitation and then back again, had the man feeling the same but not letting it show through. There was so much he hadn't felt before, things he had forgotten about. The past years had been spent training and the past months spent trying to feel worthy of nothing. Now there was... Honest laughter and soon to be songs.
"My intentions will always be clear with you, Lady Yuzhi. I would never want to mislead you in any way..." It felt terribly self indulgent to be so outspoken and dramatic with her at this moment, like a scary tale his mother might have told him long, long ago. But it also felt good.

Not long after his question and offer, a slim hand slid into his waiting palm, soft and gentle and slow, making his smile go steady as his fingers curled around the little bit of warmth.
"I will ask for a song when we meet again, then." He told her with a grin, dipping first into a bow, then further down. Slowly, so as to give her plenty of time to rebuke him, Thrain brought her hand up to him where he placed a soft, hesitant kiss on the back of her wrist. It was sudden and silly and he should have not gone so far as that, but he had not gotten to hug her so this would have to do. Even the redness of his cheeks didn't bother him as he righted and offered to help the filly down from the wall.
There were plans to discuss, where they would go and what they would do on the outing, but that could wait. Or at least be momentarily postponed. For now he wanted to laugh and tease her gently about her surely red face, to say it complimented her hair nicely and escort her home. Thrain just wanted to see her smile again, and he was glad she had given him his own back.

The reaction her response drew from Thrain alarmed and delighted her all at the same time, but she was careful not to let it show on her face or to make too much of a show on it but in a bout of what could be considered as unfairness to her, he had just the same impact on her. Each movement he made and each word he said caused her breath to hitch just the tiniest bit as she wanted to say something but found herself unable to speak. She was touched by his vow to her about how he was so willing to be so clear with her about everything and so Yuzhi could only nod a little.

If she felt that he was being overly dramatic she didn't seem to state as much or care. It seemed that Yuzhi was indulging in this as much as Thrain was.

"O..Okay. Yes. That sounds like a wonderful plan," she uttered quietly and then Thrain had placed a kiss on her wrist. Yuzhi felt her world melt away for just the tiniest of seconds. Just that simple act made her skin feel as if it had come alive and tingle without any sign of stopping and she just stared at him even as she allowed him to help her off the wall. Her face was indeed quite red with blushing and her eyes snuck peeks at his face, her head trying to tilt up to get good looks at him. Teasing her would result in something strange for her - instead of becoming upset and huffing at him she would simply shyly smile and tease him return about how his own blush contrasted nicely with the light color of his hair.

For the time being Yuzhi was not focused enough to conduct plans of any sort.

Once they got to her home together she would pause for the briefest of seconds before giving him a hug, lingering just long enough to get the scent of him and for him to hug her back before she told him good night and dashed into her home.
