[1v1] Protection is Important (Soren and Bao Yu) [FIN]

Soren much preferred the punch to his arms, and the punch didn't have the full weight to it that some of the others had had. There was a dull ache where she had hit, but for the most part it was a nice breather for him to regain control.

And breathe he did. Large pulls of air swelling his chest as wary eyes tracked the mare's movements.

The breath swirling caught her attention for a moment, and Bao Yu watched it with a deep breath. He was breathing really heavy. "Are you alright? She asked him, her voice coming out not as steady as it had before. She was getting tired.

Swallowing a little more, Bao Yu aimed another punch at his arms, having a feeling she was going to end up with completely black and blue hands before one of them admitted defeat.

"Fine," Soren grunted out. He wasn't going to stop, even if his defenses were starting to fail him. There was nothing wrong with going down after a solid fight, though he was beginning to wonder if the mare had been playing him from the beginning.

He lashed out with a fist, though it was lacking his usual energy.

His last punch didn't really phase her too much. Yes it hurt, and she felt at the very edge of her limit, but she wasn't ready to stop yet. With one last mental push, she punched him, not caring where it landed. She wanted this to be done with because she was already aching so, so bad.

Feeling her fist connect, she just stumbled forward after it, put her hands on her knees and breathed harshly, ragged movement, causing her whole body to shake. Her nose hurt every time she inhaled. Jack, that hurt. Swallowing thickly, she looked up at Soren and blinked.

As she blinked the tall horseman began to fall, landing heavily on his knees and then passing out cold.

He was too old for this sort of thing.

She moved over to him after he fell wiping her nose with her sleeve, letting her glasses dangle below her breasts as she looked at him. Kneeling next to him, Bao Yu poked at his cheek a few times, the one she hadn't punched a few times in a row and frowned.

There were two choices that could be made. She could walk away without telling anyone.. Or.. stay here until he woke up. Given how worn down she was, which meant he was even more worn down, Bao Yu just stayed there. Walking away would be nice, but that's not the kind of mare she was. She was going to stay here until he woke up, and then she would leave, knowing he could tend to his wounds himself. Maybe. She was so tired though.
