Okay, it was fun to knock the demon flat out a few times, but for the most part, he was on it, which was great. "Ya! You are!" Hel cheered with a grin, and rolled her shoulders after that short barrage of attacks she laid on the demon. Which now brought her to the last point. Evasion. Hrm. Hel looked like she swallowed a bug.
Evasion wasn't her favorite thing...because it wasn't really her style. Her fighting style was to pretty much barrel in and tough it out through damage, after all, retreating of any kind was cowardly! Buuut...she did know not everyone was as awesome as she was so...evasion just suited some styles. Like Shun.
"Alright." Hel gave a firm nod of her head. "To the last battle basic! Evasion...or dodging...what have you." She rolled a hand idly. "There really are no true techniques I can teach you for the act of evading itself, for this relies on being able to read your opponent's attacks, ya? The motions you can do though, are to duck, side step, lean, leap, back flip--" She listed off motions and means of evading. "But here is where the heart of the matter lies--" Hel then went on to describe, and demonstrate for Xavier, how an opponent's body would tense or prepare for an attack, and the key points he needed to watch out for in order to anticipate.
"That is truly the best way to learn how to evade. By reading an opponent." She reinforced, and then slid into her battle position again, grinning slightly. "Now! You are to read my movements, and evade them!" No worries, Xavier, she'd keep it basic, a bit slow, for you.
