Hmm, it seemed Camilla was nowhere in sight. Maybe... she was already at the end? Mayaa decided to move forward, hoping she would see the dormouse soon, wading through a black pool to continue her quest. However, she was suddenly attacked and... and it bit her!

Birds and snakes never did mix, and even without the poison, Mayaa was terrified and fled.
She progressed for a while without anything happening thankfully, but the recent encounter had put her on edge. Each sound made her jump, and when she felt something touch her, she shrieked, and spun around.
C-Camilla?
There was no one.
She sped up her pace.

And then a mummy popped out of its casket, nearly scared Mayaa right out of her wits, cursing her, and sent her back to the entrance.

gaia_crown [ Setting and Rules: ]

The Ancient Necropolis is buried beneath beneath the sands of the Sahara, lost for over a millennia. This is where the Dungeon Master comes to play. The Dungeon Master will create a new thread. Now, they will roll stats for this expedition team:
- Roll 2 20-sided dice for each player. List the players ie: 1. Player 1, 2: player 2, etc. Just roll all the dice at once. This is the number of rounds they can take for each player. Also include your own character. Post this stat at the very first post ie: Player 1 has 5 stamina, player 2 has 10 etc.
- Now players can begin to RP. They start at the base of the mountain and must move upwards. Each ACTION they take is 1 stamina point. Once they have used up all allotted stamina points they can go no further/ have to leave the area.
- If their HP turns to 0 they cannot go any further and must portal/pendant out/dissipate.
- If a character runs out of stamina or HP, they must try again from Round 1!

gaia_crown [ Round 1: ]

- This round takes place just inside the entrance of the dungeon, an ancient tomb that feels a bit...humid inside. It's dark, except for a few torches lining the walls of its narrow corriders, lit with ominous fire that glows more red than orange.
- All players must roll a 6 sided dice. If any player rolls a 2, you have triggered a boss! The DM will be in charge of RPing and keeping track of the boss's HP. The boss has 50/ 50 HP and does 5 auto damage every time it is attacked. You can attack it unlimited times within discretion. Attacks go as normal.
-The boss is a swarm of scarabs, a trap left by the Egyptians of old in an attempt to protect their sacred Gods. No one can go any further until the boss is defeated.
-IF NO ONE rolls a 2, or you have defeated the boss, you may proceed to round 2. If two players roll a 2, you now have two swarms of scarabs... congratulations.
- This initial roll does not cost stamina!
- Note that the trigger is 2 instead of 1 and 6 like other quests!

Mayaa was not so eager about this adventure anymore.
And then bugs appeared out of nowhere.

After reaching the end of the maze Camilla searches for the Harpy ghoul for a while, growing more concerned as she does... Her tail swayed worriedly as her ears twitched at every sound... But still no Mayaa...

Finally, it was no use... She wanted tl continue to the next part, but... she was too concern now to really enjoy it anyway... And so with that thought in mind, Camilla sighs resignly before heading back to the entrance...

However upon reaching the portal out, she was delighted to find a certain Harpy ghoul! Quickly she runs up to her friend and puts a hand on her shoulder! "Mayaa! There you are!" she exclaims in relief! However, her relief was short lived as a swarm of scarabs decide to attack the pare! "Eep! I think we need to wait till they leave!" she squeaks in surprise, before grabbing Mayaa's arm and dragging her out through the portal!

And Camilla is back at the beginning with Mayaa again!

Suddenly Mayaa was dragged out of the portal.

After some time passed, she peeked her head back in.
"... Is it safe?"
A scuttling sound answered her question.

While it was disappointing they'd have to wait it did give the Dormouse ghoul a chance to cool down. Camiila was learning that, while she loved warmth she didn't exactly like desert warmth... She just got too hot...

Finally, it seemed like Mayaa couldn't wait any longer... Camilla watches worriedly while her tail sways slowly as the Harpy ghoul pokes her head in... Unfortunately it seemed a certain swarm of bugs were still lingering near the portal! Suddenly the scarabs were back! And in force too! "Eep! Not yet Mayaa!" she squeaks in surprise before grabbing her friend's shoulder and jerking her back out of the portal!

These Scarabs didn't seem to like Harpies... Or maybe they liked them too much...

Mayaa just seemed to attract ALL sorts of company.
She was pulled back, and after some time, Mayaa finally poked her head in again.
"I think they're gone?"

It was now past noon and the sun was high in the sky. As the two ghouls waited for the scarabs to clear off, Camilla decides to finish off one of her thermoses of tea. Hot tea before going into a hot place probably wasn't the best idea... But she loved tea so... Maybe she should have made ice tea instead... While the Dormouse ghoul both mused and lamented her lunch menu choices, it seemed Mayaa was ready to go in again.

Camilla hadn't yet noticed the Harpy ghoul poking her head into the portal and was still determinedly finishing off her tea! So she might sweat more! Sweating is good for you! Maybe... Course she had no proof the hot tea made her hotter... it just seemed to make sense... kinda... Finally, once her tea was finished and her thermos was packed away, Camilla relaxes a bit... Slowly her tail begins to sway musingly as she gets lost in thought a bit... This adventure was harder then her dream had made it out to be... Yet... That just made it more exciting! It was a grand adventure for treasure! Those kinds were never easy! And they honestly wouldn't be any fun if they were!

Slowly the Dormouse ghoul was starting to pump herself up again for the adventure! Her tail began to sway more excitedly as she began to wonder just what treasure she'd get, until soon it was practically a swaying blur! It was then that she finally realizes something... She'd not heard the telltale skittering of scarabs for a while... Maybe... As she turns around to face the portal she finally notices Mayaa with her head poked through! Worry soon painted her face and set the sway of her tail as she moves to stand next to the Harpy ghoul incase a sudden extraction was needed...

Fortunately... It seemed they were gone... Slowly Camilla sticks her own head through and looks around... "Hm... I think they might be..." she mutters quietly before using what she learned from her makeshift ninja training to listen deeply... All she heard were very distant skitters... "I think we're alright... but we need to be quiet..." she whispers before grabbing Mayaa's wrist and gently pulling them both in... She didn't want to lose Mayaa this time...

It was slow quiet progress least on Camilla's part as they snuck around the Scarabs... Finally, the sound of shifting walls reaches the Dormouse ghoul's ears! "Oh! I think we're at the maze!" she exclaims in a excited whisper before letting the Harpy ghoul's wrist go briefly.

- All players must now descend into the belly of The Ancient Necropolis...By wandering the corridors. They seem to change on their own, and attempting to double back might take you to a different place than you started. If you try to cheat the system by using a ball of string to track your path, you'll find that your string runs right into solid walls....
- To navigate the aforementioned labyrinth, roll 1d100.
- If you roll 70 or higher you manage to navigate through the labyrinthine corridors without any skirmishes. Phew!
- If you roll between 1 and 25 you manage to come to an abrupt end: the corridor turns into a sheer drop you nearly walk right over. Scary! You better try to find a different way: you hear the ominous hissing of snakes down below. Keep rolling, and subtract 1 Stamina.
-Continue rolling until you roll 70 or higher!
- For every time you roll below 70 (each reroll between these numbers), you must subtract 1 of your given Stamina points.
- If you hit 0 Stamina points, you cannot go any further/ you dissipate/ pass out and have to start over from Round 1!
- If you made it past this round, you can proceed to round 3:

It was quite evident Mayaa was a lot less patient than Camilla, and once it was determined that the bugs were gone, Mayaa chirped cheerfully.
"Yay!!"
Trama of the snake and mummy having faded from her mind, she gleefully clapped and rushed into the maze once Camilla let go.
"Let's go find the treasure!!!"

She somehow innately remembered the exit because not long after, she found it.

You can roll 3D100 to speed things up if you'd like! (But no more than that!)
