"One more lewd and out of turn remark, Mr. Danger, and you will be spending the rest of class - and your day - in The Princess Corner." Her threat was calm, but she meant every word. She turned to the better of the two students, and gave an approving nod and a small smile.
"Very good. Mr. Gabriel. Thank you for starting us off. You may be seated." Her gaze then turned to the other, so far silent students. "Next, please?"

Gabby sat down very quickly, because she'd just threatened JD with the Princess Corner, and the words alone gave him the chills.

Ahm waited a moment before realizing he might as well introduce himself. Slowly the Grue unfolded himself from his desk and stood to one side, both gloved hands coming together to form an odd triangle before he bowed. "I am Ahm deVarr of the deVarr Clan Stronghold, classification Monster, sub-type Grue, and I am most pleased to be in your care for instruction." As he straightened he folded his hands together. "Etiquette is a formalized set of societal strictures meant to aid and assist in fielding potentially delicate situations as well as giving creeple the ability to navigate more securely amont unfamiliar factions or species." This was easy for him, he'd had training in etiquette for most of his life...not that he always used it (as Merry could have attested).

"Thank you, Mr. deVarr, for your thorough input. I am pleased to have you in my class. You may be seated." She waited patiently for him to do as she bid, before searching the class again. "Next?"

Xavier just gave Merry a slightly terrified look, because the last time he'd seen the colorful ghoul, she'd totally sat on him.
"H...hello," he said timidly, voice barely audible, the demon shrinking lower in his seat even after being asked to introduce himself. He slouched into position, shoulders hunched, and mumbled in a rapid fire sort of way, "M-my name is X-Xavier H-Hollow, and I'm a - a r-r-raum demon, and u-um - " He panicked for a moment. There was nothing interesting about him. "I-I am, erm...I can t-t-turn into a f-flock of b-b-birds, um..."
He completely forgot the last question, Xavier sitting down quickly, face brick red before he buried it in his arms.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Llyr, on the other hand, saw no issues in floating merrily up to Merry and Ahm and giving them both radiant smiles. But he was distracted by the teacher, and by Setting A Good Example, and he took a seat beside them all, sweeping his dark hair off of his shoulder.
When it was his turn, he rose gracefully from his chair, smiling pleasantly around at everyone.
"I am Llyrendil," he said brightly, sounding very pleased about this fact. "I am a nix; a water demon. I am also the Student Council President, and Gabriel is my Treasurer!" he added with a happy expression, gesturing at the white haired dragon. "He is a lovely boil. Oh! And I believe ettiquette to be something very lovely!"
Then he sat back down, looking expectant.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Alette had been late to class, but skidded in just in time, practically tripping across a row of desks to get to an empty one. She pushed her pigtails out of her face and glanced around eagerly to see who else was there, her blue eyes roaming.
"Oh!" she gasped, a second later. She scrambled to her feet again, trying to get air back into her lungs and excitedly bounced up and down.
"I'm Alette!" she have squealed, clasping her hands together. "I'm a brand new second year here! I'm a ghost, I have a mirror, his name is Sydney - that's him over there in the corner," she babbled, gesturing at the large, ornate thing propped up against the wall. "I'm totally like, I really love cute things, and I totally think etiquette is how to act properly - "
Alette's eyes suddenly grew wide and round, her mouth falling open.
"IS TT-THHAT J-J-JOHNNY DANGER?!" she shrieked, forgetting entirely what she was doing.

When she had entered, Hollandaise had given the butler-y shadow a tentative wave and had seated herself near it. Hollandaise had excellent memory and it looked quite familiar. For the most part, though, she had kept to herself as the others spoke, brow furrowing at some of the odd answers. She stood and tugged the hem of her short dress a little lower. "Good morning, Professor Winter. I am Hollandaise, monster, g-green warder of the Far Westerly Forests." Despite the stumble, her voice was clear and mostly even. The stumble was hesitation, weakness and the inability to know whether she could truly claim herself to be a green warder until she had graduated. A tidbit about herself? Hollandaise could not think of anything so she simply paused for a moment before continuing. "Etiquette is a set of rules to assist creeple in knowing and performing with their particular places. It is rules to aspire to, and not overcome. A guideline, if you will." There was a place for each boil or ghoul within life and the onus was on them to find that place and mold themselves into it.

JD was interrupted from his fantastical daydreams about what an entire day in ANY corner with the babe professor might be like by the sound of a ghoul calling his name. It was like music to his ears. " The one and only, babes." And then ANOTHER ghoul stood up, this one with a hemline short enough it required adjusting. JD paid very careful attention to this. Hemlines were important.

Oh Jack oh Jack oh Jack JD WAS BEHIND HIM. Merope had stuffed his book into his pocket ever since the teacher made her appearance, but now the undead boil was frozen solid as he tried very, very hard not to contain the glow of his markings. His inner fangirl was swooning over the rockstar's voice, whining that it wasn't directed at him.
That is, until the teacher mentioned "detention." Merope wondered if it was possible to step up and take JD's place in his stead, as if he could throw himself in the line for --
Merope's markings dim as a new thought crossed his mind, prompting the boil to bury his face in his hands. Professor Winter's additional threat of the Princess Corner was more than enough to inspire him to keep his head down.
He looked up as students introduced themselves, making sure to not look back at anyone seated behind him. When it was his turn he stood up unsteadily, forcing his gaze on the professor and not on the ground. "My full name cannot be pronounced, but I go by Merope," he began, "I am a member of the Lost Fathoms Leviathans. Our kind is mostly made up of undead. There's nothing inter-" he stopped himself, shaking his head before trying again. "I don't think there is anything interesting about me. Etiquette, I think, is a bunch of unwritten rules that many creeple expect you to know and use. They're like... expectations of what to do and not do, and how to act and react in such a way that shouldn't give anyone a reason to attack you, however it can be used to provoke someone else into attacking and being the one that, uh." Here Merope raised his hands for air-quotes: "Well. To make someone else the one that 'started it' and take all the blame." Or something like that."
With another shrug Merope sat back down, seemingly suddenly fascinated with the floor.

[Pretending that Deacon was already present in the room (and managed to get a pensnake before Head stole them all), because not witnessing the gift that is JD would just be tragic.]
Deacon honestly didn't even know what this class was supposed to focus on. He just kinda acknowledged on the schedule that there was a class at an hour that he just so happened to be awake, not hungry and bored.
There was also that irritated voice of his father that nagged at the back of his mind, something about how he should actually get an education at this place they kept paying for him to laze about at. Whatever.
He'd plucked up a notebook and pensnake upon entry and taken a desk to the back - an area of the room that seemed to be prime real estate - which just so happened to be alongside JD. Yeah, he knew who he was and maybe he was a fan and needed another bro since Nuk had gone AWOL. What of it?
Honestly he didn't know a whole lot about the boil, either, aside from hearing some of his music. Fortunately he was about to witness Johnny Danger in all of his unfiltered glory.
The professor arrived and he only half processed the subject of the class. Something 101. Something about leaving? No. Why would he want to do something like that? There was such a lack of attractive professors in this facility and he wasn't about to walk out on one of them. It was painfully appropriate for him to be there, but sadly he was probably not destined to learn a jackdamned thing.
He thought, maybe, after Professor Winter's words finally sank in and he realized where he was and what he was supposed to be doing, that this class was going to be dull as ******** aside from the eye candy at the front of it all... Until JD opened his mouth.
He snorted at the boil's fearless flirtations, even in the face of detention that he himself probably wouldn't have risked.
And as much as he hated it when ghouls shrieked, he realized that having a celebrity in this class meant his decision to attend was going to be the best choice he'd made in months.
The tabby was a little too distracted with what might happen next to remember that he was supposed to be introducing himself or something.

Gabriel stood up again, huffing ice breath out indignantly. "I am no one's anything. Just to be clear." Then he sat back down. Claiming ownership was a sore spot on the dragon's (gorgeous) scales.

Pearly whites flashed at Xavier as the ghoul smiled at him. Skittish boils were so much fun. She'd been tempted to play with him a bit more, but a certain grue's arrival cut those plans short. Merry's response to Ahm's arrival was to more or less drape herself over him. Arms over his shoulders, she rubbed her cheek against the side of his cowl as he delivered what ended up being a very impressive explanation on etiquette. One that Merry didn't exactly follow all the way through. Etiquette was something of a foreign notion where she was from, though spending time with Ahm, she was bound to pick up a thing or two. "I'm Merry, a tropical chimera, and as the name suggests I hail from the rain forest." At this she'd flare her wings, flashing all those pretty colored feathers. She also tightened her grip on Ahm's shoulders. "Etiquette is a list of social rules and niceties put in place to show and be shown respect." Or at least that's what she gathered it to mean. ---- A flicker of a smile touched soft blue lips as Zaire came to join him, and he'd lean into the affectionate peck, reaching out to give his hand a squeeze as he settled into the seat beside him. Once there his tail slid over, curling over his boilfriend's much thicker on. Whatever rockiness they may have been going through, Jory was too reserved to let it show here and now. He was all smiles as he stood up to introduce himself. "Jory. I'm an afanc monster." His fingers knotted in front of him nervously. "My home is a loch in a rainy bit of countryside." Pressing his lips into a thin line, he continued. "Etiquette is the customary exchange of polite behavior between individuals." Short and sweet, but it did let him sit back down quickly. ---- Seiji waited his turn, then rolled up to his feet and offered their professor a pointy smile. "Inoue Seiji, I'm a jikininki, or hungry ghost." Even if he didn't really look like a ghost, he still was one. Albeit it a considerably more substantial one that most. "Like my grue friend over there, I can and do eat anything with impunity." He had an iron stomach, and an endless appetite. "Etiquette is treating others with basic common courtesy." Not quite, but he had the right idea, at least.

Mathias had been there the entire time, tucked away somewhere in the back of the classroom where only his ears and the tips of his antlers might be showing. When the class began, he started to scribble down a few notes, and stared down at his page for a few moments until a lull in the introductory speeches indicated that he should perhaps get up and speak.
So he did, while standing on a chair to be seen.
"Hello, I am Mathias of a clan that no longer matters to me. I am uh.....classified is vord? Ach, am a volpertinger, classified as monster." He seemed to be struggling a tiny bit, his cheeks turning a bit red as he struggled to think of what he was supposed to say and how to say it. Etiquette was really not his thing, and he had no idea how to explain what it meant.
So he just said the first thing that came to mind.
"Etiquette is,I am being informed, not biting creeple on face vhen being greeted vith kiss on cheek."

JD eventually noticed there was someone sitting next to him. Probably when one of the boils was talking.
He also noticed that he had noticed that the teacher was, well. Noticeable.
In an extremely audible stage whisper he commented, "I'd ed her quitte, knowwhatImean dude?" and elbowed him sharply.

It was an interesting concept that was being taught, Etiquette. It tickled the young reaper's fancy when she moved into the room, her scarfs flowing with her stride. Stopping quickly at the fellow student body. She had seen all manner of folk in her little town, and taken seeds from all. But this was a whole new breed of creeple. and such easy marks on top of that, she mused behind a coy smile and taking a seat in the second row. The Catboil's seed purse was practically begging to be snatched and relieved of a few seeds. The ghoul was ready to grasp a pensnake and stopping to look at the holder of pens. She could wait till later. For now she could feel the stare of the instructor on her like daggers, moving to smooth out her dress and standing up to greet her. "My name Is Luludja Tshilaba but Lulu would be a much easier moniker to use, I'm a sorceress of the enchanting nature. I enjoy games of chance and Etiquette to me is a..... skill to be used, I suppose." she prattled on, fixing the shawl over her head and taking her seat and passing the attention on to another. She was already running a thumb over the tarot deck that was pulled from her sash. a soothing movement.

"We will work on that stammer, Mr. Hollow." Winter commented with a nod, but otherwise let him sit back down. "Thank you, Mr. Llyrendil." She said next, before listening to Alette. It had been going so well, until-
"Miss Alette, please remember where you are, and take your seat. You may continue to fangirl after class." She tapped a tipped finger against her own arm, and then turned her golden eyes towards Hollandaise, who received a small smile. "Pleasure to see you again, Miss Hollandaise. Thank you, you may be seated." The shadow in the corner, who had continued to loom, offered a small bow to the girl who waved at it.
"Thank you, Mr. Merope. Your observation is a fascinating one." A nod was given to the leviathan, who sat himself down. "Miss Merry, welcome to class, thank you." A nod, and onto the next student. "Mr. Jory, Welcome, thank you." The Hungry ghost went next. "You are not wrong, Mr. Inoue. Please be seated. Next?" A mildly curious look was given to the volpertinger next. "An interesting comment, Mr. Mathias. Thank you, you may be seated." The very audible stage whisper did reach her ears, and the Demoness lifted a clawed blue hand to indicate silence.
"Mr. Danger." She called, putting a brief halt to the introductions. "Please escort yourself out of this classroom, and report to the Acting Headmaster immediately."
