Max looked over and smiled at his Pokémon he had raise from birth. it walked in from the pet door and jump onto the bed. it was a Stoutland "how are you doing Red" he said to it in a joking tone and Red try bite down onto his hand. Max use the training cane and hit the Stoutland on the lower jaw knocking him down onto the bed. he laughed and Stoutland rolled around on the bed happily

Astrid started shaking as Stoutland came into the room. She wasn't used to other pokemon being friendly towards her, as her last owner made his pokemon use her as a practice dummy, and muzzled as well as tired her down so she couldn't defend herself. She was scared as she whimpered, and was huddling in a corner with her tail between her legs.

Red leap down onto the floor heading over to Astrid and licked her cheek. he was trying to cheer her up and wig his tail. Max laughed at the two "Astrid. he is you're friend." Red rolled over onto his back showing her his belly . it was show of trust to another by putting himself into moment of weakness. Max picked up his phone and seen someone's Mawile is trap on a island " Red we have a job to do...want to come with us Astrid?" he asked her

Astrid shook as Red came over to her. She wasn't used to kindness from any pokemon. She ran over to Max and buried her face in his leg with her tail tucked. She'd been abused for so long she'd never known kindness until now. It was obvious that she was traumatized by all the abuse she'd suffered over the years. Then she saw a Mawile on Max's phone. She wasn't sure if she wanted to go or not but she didn't want to be alone anymore. She climbed into Max's arms wanting to stay with him.

Max carried Astrid In his arms outside to his car and put her into the backseat with red hopping in the front. he drives to the dock and a boat was ready for him to go save the Mawile. he take astrid into his arm and put a life vest onto her and red." everything will be fun" he said smiling and seen red jumping onto the boat. Red was ready to help another and can't be stop once his mind was set

Astrid was a little unsure about the boat as she was on it. She stayed close to Max, her broken leg hurting her. She laid her head in his lap, not wanting to be in pain. She wasn't too steady on her legs on the boat. She wasn't liking being so wobbly.

another person gotten into the driver seat of the boat. heading it to the island and it was rather big and it's going to take a few days to find the lost Pokémon " red we need to make a base camp" he said putting Astrid down at the spot where the camp will be set up. he put up a tent and looked around. knowing this is going to be a hard job. Max sat down next to Astrid

Astrid stayed with Max laying down next to him. She laid with him still not sure about Red. She then laid on her side while her head was in Max's lap. She then licked his hand nervously not sure what he would do.

Max started a fire and cleaned his back on a rock. petting her head lightly " everything will be alright" he said smiling and looked over at Red who is playing with water right now not much caring about if Max told him no

Astrid snuggled up to Max as he pet her head. Her tail wagged as he did this as she only trusted him right now.She then licked his hand as he pet her before she laid down in a way that was comfortable to her broken leg.

Max leaned back and close his eyes. Red came over and rested on his other side. looking at Astrid. Max thought this is going to be a long job trying to find the lost Pokémon here on this island

During the night, Astrid smelled something and went to find it. She managed to find the Mawile and bring it back to Max. She licked Max's cheek as the Mawile hid behind her shaking in fear. The mawile was a baby. She thought Astrid was her mommy. Astrid always had a soft spot for little ones, pokemon or human. Astrid then started sniffing at Max trying to wake him up so he could see that the mawile they were after was sick and needed help.

Red opened his eye and looked at the sick Mawile and wrapped his body around the little thing trying to warm her up. he looked at the poor thing and bark to force his master to wake up. Max got up and seen what he needed. he looked inside of his backpack and find some meds to help with the little one and take out a radio to call in to say he find the pokemon that was lost and hopefully can send something to pick it up only to hear a storm was blocking any one from the island so they are there till morning

Astrid looked at the Mawile who hid from Red. She wasn't too sure about Max either. Astrid let the Mawile lay with her, not wanting the little one to be scared or hurt like Astrid was. She laid next to Max in a way that was comfortable to her leg and didn't hurt it or move it too much while it was in the cast. Mawile snuggled up to Astrid falling asleep after Max gave her the medication. Mawile had a fever and wanted her 'mommy' to make it go away. Astrid licked the mawile's head gently, her mothering side coming out.

Max fall of asleep with Red sitting on top of his chest. he had the training cane to his right. if there was a wild Pokémon on the island that is willing to attack a human. during the night. Red heard a sound outside and gone to check it out only to see a odd ball of light dancing in the sky. it was not like a Pokémon then it was gone in the next moment
