Fearless, she's the woman that would fall and get back up again, letting nothing stop her. Due to her upbringing, Kaida finds difficulty in asking for help or even accepting help. Now and then, when the situation calls for it, you can best believe Kaida will have sarcastic moments.

Born blind to two civilian parents, they fret and worried over her so much that she became like a fragile glass that one wrong movement would shatter her completely. Medical-nin could not help her. Sheltered and kept her hidden, Kaida was not having it when she was old enough. She wanted to explore the world. Slowly, she started to use her intellect to find her way around the house and the sounds outside to figure out the estimation of times. The sounds along with the warmth of the sun aided young Kaida to sneak out now and then from her room while her parents were doing something. Her parents were so strict on routine, in fear that a slight disruption would throw their house into chaos.
During one of her escapades, she heard the sounds of a creature. Her gut told her to follow it and so did the fearless child. Careful to not accidentally step on the creature, she got on her knees and started to use her hands, patting and slide in the specks of dirt and trashes of the streets trying to pinpoint the sound of the crying creature. Distressed, scared, scratched up hands, Kaida refused to give up. It was then, she felt something hard. Gently, she ran her fingers as tenderly as she possibly manage, it was some kind of feathered creature and its wing felt so odd out of shape from what she remembered. Removed her shirt, wrapped the bird in it, and headed home. Her parents freak out when they found her trying to nurse the bird. Kaida was determined and stubborn. She knew her parents and all she had to do was to say the right words. The silence was met and she had her way.
Young Kaida started off home-schooled, one of her tutors had knowledge of the feathered friend she had found. He explained what it was, what they like to eat, and they were smart creatures. Kaida absorbed everything like a dry sponge, this was the only time she didn't slack off while learning. While finding food by herself in the streets, she was met with a shinobi who was a sensor and had noticed the young blind girl. Kaida, however, did not notice the female sensor. Being stalked and watched, Kaida had an uneasy feeling as she tried to figure it out but by the time she got to the shadows and coldness of the temperature, the sensor was gone. After awhile, her parents were met with the recruited shinobi and they requested for their daughter to go to the Academy for the Shinobi Arts. Arguments were made, Kaida, not missing her chance to be fiercely independent and show the world who she was, interrupted the conversation with two simple words, "I'm going."
The Academy of Shinobi Arts was not easy for Kaida. Being young and still learning, she struggled for a long time. Children of the Academy and teachers were cruel to her but she always got back up after she fell. Her parents, loaded with money, got her tutors and had them help her read because the learning scrolls were not blind-friendly, Kaida suddenly excelled in sensory as well taijutsu. During the training, she was followed, not by the shinobi who found her, but her broken-winged friend that could now fly. Now, graduated, Kaida was now on her own by choice.
