She was captured and taken from the Soquili lands as a foal when the pale faced men first arrived on their ships, and taken back to their motherland. There, she was quite an oddity, and the king's prized pet. She was treated as royalty, always being pampered and flaunted around town. This gave her quite the princess complex, and when the king began pairing her with stallions of his own land to produce more like her, she felt she was far too good for any of the males offered, and refused to mate. The king, frustrated and angry with the mare, assumed she was barren and ordered for her to be sent back to the Soquili lands to be traded with the natives.
Upon arrival to the Soquili lands, Miss Ethel Anne was confused and scared. She was led to a small village, and immediately after being traded for some skins and trinkets, she was untied and set free. They even let her keep her jewelry and lantern.
Since she's been back, she stood by the sea, unmoving, for quite some time. She refused to eat or sleep, certain that her king would send for her on one of his ships once more. Months seemed to pass, and finally the winters came. Ethel was forced to leave the bitter cold winds of the ocean, and has since become quite humbled. She's rather melancholy, and could probably use a bit of company to cheer her up.

Brief Personality Description: She's definitely a bit of a princess, though more so in how she presents herself as opposed to how she treats people. At first she can come off as very arrogant, but once she gets to know someone she begins to show her true self, which is a mild mannered, misunderstood mare who just wants to be liked.

Considering her looks and airs and knowledge of past lands, she could even have a role as a princess from a far away land 'pulled away by war', being under the care and protection of another kingdom or even without a kingdom of her own, using her backstory as a way to create a character.

Brief Personality Description:
Prognosis is a collector, of things and experiences, having a fondness for surrounding himself with fascinating trinkets and other people with unusual traits as companions. He's a friendly sort with a somewhat sophisticated air, and enjoys trying new things, often latching onto the newest thing with a great obsession for months, sometimes years on end before trying something new to play with. He adores spending times with artisan troupes of familiars and hippogryphs.
His love of the rare, strange, and unusual had given him a rather large collection, and he eventually found himself at the faire, wondering if he could set up a booth to show it off and trade for other oddities. His collection of sketches of unusual mutations, strange creations, and artifacts from distant or even ancient cultures that he had earned from the locals proved to be of interest to the herd, and he got offered a permanent place to show it, as well as the chance to travel with them showing some of his easier to transport goods or simply having a booth to trade for more oddities and gather more records of interesting but unusual talents.
His Museum of Oddities is often manned by good hearted mutants that usually have difficulty finding acceptance elsewhere due to their appearances, so they can have a place where they will be met with curiosity rather than fear. After all, his grandparents were nice, if a bit odd, individuals that scared many of those who encountered them, why not allow those similar to them enjoy a place where they can be accepted?

Brief Personality Description: Aveline is a little aloof and not all there at times. Despite all this she means well. Most others find her odd or strange but she's quite friendly and loving once you get to know her. She will occasionally get lost in her thoughts and drift away from reality so you have to pull her back in sometimes but she is helpful whenever she's 'grounded' so to speak.

Unlike some overly-excitable Soquili, who are constantly hyperactive, Aya is calm, every now and again. Often after exhausting herself physically or when particularly transfixed by something in particular, she settles down for a while. Her various mentors were thankful for this, as it allowed her to listen for longer periods of time without getting bored and trying to experiment on others.
Aya is simple in wants and desires: mostly she likes to eat fresh, rich foods and enjoy the occasional good time with stimulating company.
