Kari gave a cheerful nod as Camilla began following the teacher. Kari listened intently as the teacher gave their lecture on the way. The ghoul had never really thought of nature in that perspective before. Greenery was always something to be mindful of due to her abilities, but she had never thought about the uses it could provide her.
She paused momentarily at the gates, her hand twitching slightly in a desire to summon her staff at the sight of moving tendrils, but thought better of it since the owner of the vines could turn out to be friendly for all she knew. It helped that the teacher continued their lecture as if nothing out of the ordinary was occurring.
Still, she kept her hand rake at the ready... just in case.
As the group descended further into the garden, The reaper's began to pick up a distant clicking noise. "Oh please no...," she groaned as the clicking increased in volume and intensity. Her dread was confirmed at the appearance of Snap Dragons. The teacher's comment did little to ease Kari's worries as a sweet mist covered the area and their teacher vanished without a trace.
"So... weed-whacking... I set things on fire all the time... I can handle this...", Kari tried to convince herself as she pulled her scarf up to her face, attempting to protect herself from any negative effects of the mist as the donned her rake and swung out at the plant.
Her rake dug into the fleshy side, eliciting a screech as a vine swung towards her, nicking her shoulder. She let a relieved smile form despite the injury, thankful that the tool seemed capable of the job demanded. True, Kari could utilize fire... but not only were they surrounded by dense foliage, she didn't know whether the mist covering the field was flammable. One wrong move could inadvertently light everyone up like a jack-o-lantern. Fire was best saved for a dire situation as long as hand tools were viable... at least until she was able to gather more information or the situation changed in her favor.
"I hope everyone's ready for some pruning!" the reaper's slightly muffled voice called out to her friends.

Once she was a safe distance away, Camilla stops and turns to survey the battle. By this time, Carlos, Shiki, Keen, and Kari had joined the fray. She flinches slightly as she sees her friends getting smacked or cut by the vines, but gives an excited thumbs up to them to encourage them! She knew they could handle themselves.
Finally, it was time for her to attack again. Deciding she should try and use her Fear, Camilla stands straight with her feet together and with her balled up left fist pressed lightly against her right open palm which was held vertically and flat. Because she was excitable and hyper by nature, her Sensei had shown her this pose to help her focus better, and it works! Taking a deep calming breath, Camilla zones out the sounds of battle around her as best she could.
Quickly, she starts channeling her Fear into her core for a few moments before channeling it throughout the rest of her. Suddenly, her body begins to glow white, till she looked like nothing more then a white silhouette, for a few seconds before just as suddenly as the glow began it flashes and two silhouettes of her exact shape slide sideways! Out of those two silhouettes, another slides sideways till there was a total of five silhouettes! Finally, the light fades revealing five identical copies of Camilla! Well, almost identical. Only the real Camilla was still holding the shovel with her tail.
It worked! It had been a while since she'd used her Fear and she still got it to work! Excitement quickly replaces the calm, and soon five Camilla's are bouncing around cheering! A confused roar from the plant, however, brought them back to the battle at hand. Instantly, they slide into various defense and offensive battle poses, the clones waiting for an unspoken command from Camilla. A look and a nod was all the physical signs anything had been said one would see between the five Camillas before they'd lunge in to attack!
Swiftly, they dash in running around the plant in a circle, as best they could in the tight space, before one by one each Camilla leaps in for an attack! A punch here, a kick there, a tail whip, a chop at one of the vines, and finally, a round house kick at the main body of the plant right where Camilla had gouged it with the shovel before! It actually wasn't as powerful as it could have been, but Camilla wasn't used to having to step, dodge, and leap over vines.
The draconic plant roars in pain and anger before lashing out viciously at the many Camillas! Stopped by it's fierce roar, and surprised by the speed which it lashed out, the clones, when struck, disappear in a small cloud of colored smoked till only the real Camilla remained! She tried to dodge the incoming vine, but couldn't quite get out of the way in time! She felt the sharp, welt inducing sting of the vine as it strikes her not so far from the first place on her back!
Wincing, she keeps moving till she was a safe distance away. "Owie..." she mumbles to herself as she rubs the two welts on her back a bit. Still, the frown didn't last for long as she watched the plant and waited for another opening. Battles were exciting!

Grinning excitedly, and still hyped from her previous Fear's success, Camilla decided she'd try and use her other, weaker, Fear. It seemed like it would be a simple Fear to use; channel your Fear into a part of your body and strike. Simple right? Not when you were a excitable, often hyper, Dormouse ghoul who was learning the joys, (And pains,) of battle.
Closing her eyes, she takes a, (not so deep,) calming breath. One, which did little to lessen her excitement. Pulling her Fear into her core once more, she then tries to channel it to her fist. At first, all seemed well. Until... Her balled, right, fist began to glow with a soft, yet strong, white light and one could likely feel the Fear gathering. Once enough Fear was gathered and seemed stable, Camilla's eyes snap open and she sprints in to make her attack!
Suddenly! The light on her fist wavers, crackles, then disappears in a flash just as she went for her swing! Feeling the fear disperse into the air surprised her causing her to miss the planty draconic beast entirely! Stumbling for a moment, she was quickly greeted by a sharp sting from one of the plant's vines on the back of her head before she could even recover her balance; sending her face planting to the ground!
"O-owie..." she whines slightly as she picks herself off the ground while rubbing the back of her head... It only took her seconds to realize, she had a huge angry dragon plant looming hungrily over her! "Eep!" she squeaks! Then, out of a learned instinctive reaction, she leaps to her feet, whirls around, and dashes out of there! Somehow, as she whirled around, she nicked the plant with her shovel again. Though, this fact was currently unknown to the Dormouse ghoul.
That was not one of her best attacks...

Once Camilla thought she was a safe distance away, she stops and turns to see how the others were doing. Still disappointed by her miss, she didn't notice the vine snaking it's way towards her... Suddenly, her eyes widen in shock as she felt the smooth, planty, tendril wrap itself around her leg and jerk! Hard! "Eeek!" she half squeaks half yelps as her leg was pulled right from out under her!
THUMP!
A loud, audible thump could be heard as she hit the ground! Right on her welt covered back... "Oof! O-owie..." she squeaks breathlessly as she laid there looking at the green house roof... That hurt... Maybe she would just lay there for a few seconds... Yeah, that's a good idea. Never mind, the vine was still wrapped around her ankle and she was slowing being dragged towards the angry dragon plant...
