Seems there's another herd with Eclipse as the name.
We're gonna have to brainstorm some other name ideas lol. ewe;

ECLIPSE BASED NAMES (To separate it from the herd known just as Eclipse)

LOCATION/CULTURE/THEME BASED NAMES

Black Sand herd
Black Friday Herd (maybe Fridays could hold a special meaning to them -- Maybe they founded on a friday during an eclipse, so it was a "Black Friday")
Shadowsand Herd
Dark waters Herd (even though most are landbased, black sand from the island and volcanic rock could make the waters around it seem dark)
Blackrock herd
Obsidian falls herd

Still deciding though....so much has been going on that making back stories for my ponies has kinda gone on the back burner for now.

A rough draft without any labeling, but here's a concept for the island map

I didn't mark where any of the caves are since we might have a few Communal caves group caves but otherwise it might just be a set up for people to make up if they have a private cave and where it is. I made it so there are some grassy grazing lands, but also made it rich in rain forest/jungle territory (where even if they went out in the day they'd get very little sunlight. Made sure to include a few lakes, a river, and a waterfall system. The path to the lake at the source of the water fall is a smoother incline with a cliff dropoff near the water fall locations.


Made it attach tot he jungle area cause there was a nice little offshoot there that could easily be broken off from an island. A few sandbar-type islands stay above the water (Though are very short and lack anything really to make it comfortable and a storm could easily wash them away, and I'm sure some of them may not even really be islands but may just be places where the water is only ankle deep on the average sized Soquili (So would be quite a bit further up on an average sized Usdia)
