Abby gave a noncommittal shrug. "If you think so." She responded with her shrug. When he spoke of long walks and dancing in the rain she had to laugh. Just a little. It sounded so much like something she expected to hear out of Uncle Himeros!

"You must be very good." She grinned, looking him over. He wasn't starved at all. Really, he had an amazing build. A wistful thought crossed her mind, wondering if he was truly a nice pae, or if he was being so nice to her because she was flustered? "What kind of animals do you raise?" Abby asked, reminding herself to ask about his whittling next. What even whas whittle?

Another peek into the basket and he grabbed a piece of meat to put onto his bread to take a bite. "You make good picnic baskets?"

He caught her looking at him. Caught that little smile. Ranching kept his body in shape. The fae scooted a little closer to her. Was it just him, or did she suddenly seem more attractive? "Ah, they're good animals. I have a goat...few chickens...Two adult cows and a calf. Very small farm, but enough for me." People would pay him handsomely for the herbs he provided. He lived a fairly comfortable -if very laborious- life. He reached up with a free hand to touch one of her black curls. "Ever been to a farm ma'am?"

The demi blushed, shaking her head. The only reason she had the meats and bread in there were because Venti had packed it. "A parting gift from my son." She leaned forward, reaching into the basket to pull out a bread. Keep her mind off the attractive build of the fae. Venus why did fae have to be so attractive? Was it their wings? It had to be..

"That doesn't sound small at all, Flynn." Abby returned, looking directly into his eyes. Oh Venus, that was a bad idea. Her own sapphire eyes darted away quickly, a blush still on her face. What was going on? And his hand was in her hair! Just a little lock of it, but it was still there! Abby was truly flustered, and if she thought about it, her father's 'gift' was probably raging. It was always stronger when she was flustered. "N-no. Never. A-are they nice?" Anything, anything at all. Grasping at straws, she desperately tried not to think of how weirdly nice it felt for him to touch her hair. She was happily married what the heck was going on here?!

When she turned to look him in the eyes, he felt himself melt a little in her gaze. Now Flynn was never a shy pae around the ladies. He'd make out with a hot girl just because he could. In fact, he had just a few seasons ago on a beach. Barely got her name before making out. If she was willing and so was he, why not? Pae needed to live a little.

"Very nice. You could swing by sometime. I'd love the company." His voice had dropped lower, softer. Suggestively. Dirt or no dirt, she was beyond attractive. Her hair was soft in his fingertips, and he already had forgotten about the meal. He edged even closer to her. "You visit my farm...I visit your well...how does that sound?"

Was he really inviting her to his farm? She smiled, "As soon as the planting season is over." She agreed, not thinking of any alternative meanings. It was just a friend stopping by to see a friend. Right?

She was so distracted by the thought she hadn't realized how close he'd gotten to her. "That would make the next visit my turn. To go see your farm." Yes, farm. Farm animals. That was something she could think about. Anything but whatever weird fluttery feeling that was. It felt oddly similar to the time she met her husband or when she was given that lovely bow from her father. "How do you tend to your animals while you're away?" Abby wondered, realizing someone had to take care of them.

The feeling was subtle at first, perhaps dismissed as a figment of the imagination. As the interaction continued, however, the sensation would grow strong enough that there would be no way to dismiss it.

As Abby's thoughts focused on the stranger's attentions and appearance, enjoying and drinking in the flattery as well as returning in kind while entertaining her own rogue thoughts, she would feel a tightening sensation around her heart. It was not a physical pain, exactly, but more a spiritual one...as if something were tightening and squeezing, tugging at her soul as she returned the stranger's attention. However, upon reminding herself of her marriage and focusing on thoughts of her husband, Aiolos, and the love they share, while forcing away inappropriate thoughts about the stranger, the pain would lessen...somewhat.

Wherever Aiolos is, he will also share this pain, though he will puzzle over the cause.

So cute. "I'll draw a map for ya later." So that she could visit him. At his house. Give her a tour of the pens, his garden, his living room, his bed... "Oh, I pay a lad from the nearby village. He watches the farm, and he gets to bring back what's produced in that time." Flynn got milked cows and the boy got milk. Fair trade off. If you do the work, you should get the reward.

Another bit closer, unaware of any discomfort Abby might be experiencing. He was so close now.

Abby grinned, feeling a twinge in her chest. What was that? She brushed off the feeling, ignoring it for the most part. "Sounds good for both of you~" It really was a good deal. The twinge in her chest pinched as she thought of Flynn tending to his animals. Or was it the muscles he had from taking care of a farm by himself?

The demi brushed it off again, trying not to thing about the irritation as they enjoyed their meal together. "Do you grow a lot of veggies?" She questioned, not sure if she'd asked already. That itching feeling was distracting. Why did her chest ache?

There was something intoxicating about the blue female. More than when he first met her, it seemed almost...like a power she had over him. He longed to scoop her into his arms and this small talk was delaying it. "Some. Mostly focus on herbs and my livestock." This small talk was killing him. Every fiber in his being was beginning to scream, especially with her not pushing him away.

Without further warning, the fae dropped the bit of bread still in his hand to cup her face as he pressed his lips onto hers. Such sweet, soft lips.

Abby's eyes grew to the size of saucers, her entire body freezing in place. Everything but her racing heart. It was beating so very loudly in her chest. Pounding in an excruciating rhythm, as if it was trying to kill her. His lips on hers, her face cupped in his strong, calloused hands. Oh Venus it hurt so much! The twinge had blossomed into a full paralyzing fire, threatening to kill her if she didn't push him away. She was married to Aiolos! How on the great island could she possibly be sitting there kissing another man? No matter how rugged and handsome he was?

The demi-goddess groaned in pain, reaching a shaking hand out to his shoulder, trying to push him off her. He was so very sweet and kind, but the pain! This was worse than when Venti and Nicky were born! And it was in her heart. What was this horrendous pain? "Hnnn!" Weakly she shoved against his shoulder, trying to stop the throbbing in her chest. She couldn't even take the time to appreciate how nice his lips felt against hers, or how soft his hands really felt. It was all just pain. So much miserable pain.

For a blissful moment he remained against her lips. One, solitary sweet moment where he felt the release from the build up within. A soft groan. She liked it eh? But then she was pushing on him. Pushing away. Instantly he broke the contact, pulling his lips away from hers. "Are you ok?" The female looked to be in pain. How could she be in pain, it was just a kiss!

Abby winced, opening her mouth to answer. A groan escaped her lips. The demi shook her head to answer his question. What was wrong with her? She double over, clutching at her chest. Anything to try and lessen the pain. She gasped, hoping the fresh air in her lungs would help. No, it just changed the pain. It felt like it was burning down her throat. Like she'd drank something horrible, or the searing ache that came with throwing up. Oh Venus the pain was horrible!

Abby curled into herself, rocking back and forth. What was going on? What was this pain? Why wouldn't it lessen? Was this her life now? The demi groaned, wishing the pain away.

Her reaction was beyond alarming. Did he eat something she was allergic to? But she made the lunch! He didn't know if he should hold her until it subsided or moved to give her space. Since she was doubled over gasping for air, he went with the latter. He quickly scooted back, giving her plenty of area to curl up in. "I-is there someone I can get? One of your kids? Or like, med...Medicine! The pain herb!" He turned to grab his basket, quickly pulling out a sprig of the precious herb.

"You're supposed to steep it in hot water for the most effect, but you can chew a leaf in a pinch!" He plucked a delicate leaf off before holding it out to her.

Someone to call? Flynn's voice sounded like sandpaper in her ears. Was it because she had been enjoying it? Was this some sort of punishment from her aunts and uncles because she was trying to make a friend? Was that what she was doing? Making a friend?

"Nnnn!" She groaned, an eye cracking wide enough to spot that blasted leaf in front of her face. Abby shakily reached out to take it, barely grasping it before jamming it in her mouth and chewing with all she had. Anything. Any hope to get rid of this crippling pain. The pain wasn't letting up, not even a faint numbing in her gums. Nothing. Who would help her? Nicky was too far away, Venti and Aiolos were at home. She gasped, feeling a fissure in the pain. Aiolos. Aiolos. It wasn't gone, but it felt.. Better. A release of pressure. Something. Her husband, at home waiting for her. Completely unaware of what was going on out here. Aiolos. Abby groaned, rocking in place. It was letting up. Enough for her to breathe.

Was that all she was allowed? Just enough to breathe? What sort of vengeful god did this to her?

As she took the leaf and began to chew away, he watched to see if it helped. It looked like she was breathing easier, but still curled up in pain. "Okay, I'm gonna run fer help okay ma'am?" Maybe she had some sort of health issue. If so, her children would know what to do. And they should be somewhere nearby. He slowly pushed up onto his feet before his wings fluttered to lift him off the ground. From an aerial view, he should be able to see her house if it was nearby.
