Walking into the lair of the enemy would seem like many to be a folly and dangerous idea, but not to Haruko. She knew that the opposite was true. The closer she was to danger, the farther away from harm she actually was. After all, you needed to keep friends close and enemies closer. Haruko plopped down in a corner booth and picked up a menu which she pretended to browse through as she waited to be served.

As the girl sat down a woman with child in hand would bump into her before scooting away. "Oh hello there. Pardon." Of course this woman had been was there already, perhaps Haruko hadn't noticed immersed in the thoughts that circulated her head. Perhaps the girl was unique in having an ability to tune out her surroundings, but this accidental bump would likely be just a brief call to reality. If Haruko addressed the fact somebody else was in 'her' booth mayhaps she'd notice that the restaurant was filled to the brim with people. Ninja wearing anbu masks spouting words to try and calm down individuals who seemed on the verge of rioting. If she wanted an order taken she'd most certainly be needing to stand in line. Seeing as what had formed for those who were hungry and confused along with disheveled had formed a line wherein a single large table was acting as some form of a buffet table. Well, buffet was a blanket term, it was more people waiting in line for what seemed to be bowls of clam chowder, efficient but bland distribution of foodstuffs for those with shellfish allergies. Many of these people were uncertain whether or not their homes were even intact, or if they had homes left to go back to. Others were frightened visibly on their faces, and others still were angry at how little they knew about the situation. A bartender was at the establishments bar counter divvying responsibilities to those who had a desire to help keep the place together and stop it from falling apart. {There is a mission list of possible things to do on the previous page.}
Arriving behind the remainder of the group, Mugen would see to it the children were taken care of. As they arrived at the designated evacuation area he felt a sigh of relief wash over him. He would smile, letting the children scurry to the protected land as he looked back towards the location of the village's attack. "I...have to go back...people still need help." he said, waving his hand as he moved away from the group. [4/4]
His discussion with Unki would have hopefully ended on a high note. It seemed she needed to come up with a plan of what it is she desired to do. It was then that Kagerou would insert herself into the converstion. Toso would give a nod to Unki. "Do stay safe bloop." Where in his attention would shift to Kagerou. Perhaps even Vivian if she were around. "The preparations have been done by my bartender or rather...he has something for you he says will aid in the sealing, you may ready yourself here, as for the host..." Suddenly an incredibly loud explosion erupted from the distance. The area in which Arashigakure's core compound in a flaming eruption was rendered into but tiny pieces flying down from the heavens above. He then looked to the inside of the restaurant as the doors flung open. Core operatives who were originally helping at the restaurant looked in horror and what could only be an infallible burning rage mixed with sadness. "You're on your own squid!" The operative leaving the location as the cries of panic shook inside the restaurant.
Toso watched as the former assistance left. All four of his tentacles then emerged as they started to coil around him like snakes. "1. Everything is falling apart. 2. It was bad enough there was a shortage of inventory from the last attack. 3.Is the captain alright? 4.There's no more time to waste. 1. The resteraunt will be in shambles when I get back. 2. Trefles and Homura can't handle these many people alone. Anxiety personified in the whispers of his tentacles a cold sweat seemed to form on the man normally stoic face. "The host...the host...I'll be the host bloop." There was no time for delegations It didn't reveal itself on the man's face but a sense of urgency was overwhelming him. The four tentacles recoiled but acted as though something had just burned them before retreating. "Kagerou I'm going to reconvene with the others. bloop. I'll leave this entrance to Isekai-junsei open for you to take. I'll keep the six-tailed creature occupied best I can. bloop. Everyone was so keen to raise their blades then and they likely are doing so again now." Toso turned around and as the portal was being brushed together. He almost somberly said. "Its as though everyone neglects violent things are still living creatures. bloop." Toso would enter the portal as his image grew smaller and smaller by the second the door remaining open for Kagerou.
He'd nary given the poor girl any time to speak. The squid was usually incredibly stoic in almost every situation he'd been in. But these situations involving alleged 'demons' seemed to always affect him in differing ways. Should Kagerou converse with the bartender about what it was he had in his possession he would simply give her a bottle of some liquid before quickly trying to calm individuals down also having little time to talk. The bottle would raise several questions as Kagerou would know first hand immediately what swirled inside was a very miniscule amount of demon chakra. What was inside looked akin to slime? She likely would like to inquire how he attained this slime but there would be no time for said discussion as he seemed to be trying to break up a fight. The small bottle would allow Kagerou to acclimate herself to the type of chakra she'd be working against and with. With that in mind, it may prove just enough to know what kind of seal would be necessary. Unlike the Gyuki's it emanated an aura nowhere near as violent.
Once Kagerou felt ready and entered the portal she would feel as though she were in a dream-like state as the world inside mirrored the real world only in black and white lines. Moving through the world would feel just like a dream where it felt either faster or slower as you moved. Though if in a rush it would prove faster, if having doubts it would prove to feel slower. The land of imagination was an interesting one...a place where one's personal demons could manifest if not kept in check. For Toso this had become easy to manage. For those who first entered, as stated before, a wild imagination could prove to be either a good or bad thing. ~exit

•Balanced Master ❞ ·.¸¸.-Techniques Used<-.¸¸.·´❞ • Character: Tosokurui Ashikoki Hojo Technique Name: [Isekai-Junsei]: (Otherworld Imitation) Rank: Varies Type: Bloodline Description: [Isekai-Junsei] is the cultivation of Toso's original technique [Tosō-inku] and using that knowledge combined with the knowledge of extra-dimensional spaces produced by fuuinjutsu allowed for the creation of truly amazing technique. [Isekai-Junsei] is essentially a pocket dimension that can be accessed or escaped into via drawing some form of entry way in the real world i.e a door or a hole. Upon opening or entering said space one of two things will occur. A blank white location that seems to extend for miles on end or essentially a mirrored world of the current thread is produced only in black and white. Drawing another entry way in the mirrored or blank world will create a similar entry way in the real world from which to exit. The exit method isn't particularly discreet unless per say the exit was made on something hiding it or is well hidden to begin with. The world inside of [Isekai-Junsei] can then be entirely manipulated by those inhabiting it. This involves its user and any individuals who may be inside. This manifests itself in the ability to create black and white structures and objects and things from sheer imagination as though the world itself was a blank canvas. Objects made with the intent to do harm require an amount of chakra to do so of an [X]-rank and will only last [1-post] thereof and will be treated as [Spiritual] for interactions. Anything made without this malicious intent otherwise will not impart a cost. [Isekai-Junsei] can thusly emulate threads like a Dojo or Academy for appropriate reductions and also offer a place for individuals to compete without the threat of structural damage. [Isekai-Junsei] primarily functions as an excellent utility for tutelage, isolating problem targets, tactical bastion, and a safe haven. But above all else a place where creativity thrives. Limitations: •Toso himself is required to be within [Isekai-Junsei] for others to be inside. •An exit cannot be closed with Toso absent if there is anyone remaining inside. •Those with the Rinnegan or the ability to produce Kamui may see individuals in the pocket dimension from the real world and access it as well. •Opening an Entrance to [Isekai-Junsei] is an [ S ]-rank amount of Chakra in combat but otherwise, if the entrance is patiently drawn only a [ B ]-rank amount is necessary. •If Toso dies or becomes unconscious [Isekai-Junsei] ends. •Those inside [Isekai-Junsei] may make an exit at any time using an [ X ] amount of chakra which can be closed by other parties inside if they pay an [ X ] amount to close it. Simply put a simple E-rank would allow an exit but if someone were trying to prevent said exit they would have pay an E-rank amount in retaliation. •Creations made in [Isekai-Junsei] may not leave [Isekai-Junsei] •It takes [1]-post before an exit/entrance closes. Allowing for stealthy attacks from the pocket dimension but also allowing a fair amount of time to react to them. •The smallest possible exit must be at least 4 feet in circumference.

Until earlier, Unki had known the location of Ika-shokuji and the method of getting Trefles to point A from B was a game of retracing her steps with any provided directions he may have given her along the way. Unki turned to say what would have initially been parting words that wish luck and safety to Trefle's appreciation.
tabWhen Trefle's reopened his hands to reveal the extent of the hover board, Unki couldn't help by oogle over it. "That's how you were so easy to pull! Sorta!" She sounded a bit excited to learn what had been boggling her about how Trefles felt light and then just plainly excited that she gets to see a machine that isn't trying to tare her limbs in two. Then it clicked. The offer Trefles was making to Unki to take the board clicked. "I wouldn't want to take it from you- just to borrow- and hopefully not hurt myself figuring it out." Before much else could be said Toso appeared and diverted Unki's attention and grabbed hold of her with his extraordinarily, out of the ordinary, new clothes. She couldn't help herself to stop and think if this was truly the squid she knew and what sort of bet he lost to get stuck with such sleek duds. Toso's accenting accessories caught her sites like a cat to wiggling string. However, having the the board placed her hands before long rather sealed the deal on the matter: she was borrowing the board and that's that. tabAs Toso did, Unki looked at the mass of gloop in the distance when the ground shook again. She clutched the board and allowed an awfully concerned look to show on her face. She was very much on the fence of what she was suited to do in this grimy situation. This state of mind was why nobody had promoted her to jounin and why nobody ever put forth Unki's name to be a leader. tab I don't know when and I don't know how but Mr. Truffles will get his hovering-buddy back as soon as I can get it back to him!" There were no fuzzy feelings of delight or joy and anxiety and worry were pressing themselves to try to take over. The numerous people pouring into the Squid restaurant and unsettling explosion to follow after Unki's lackluster delay meant she shouldn't be a sitting duck. Before long, Unki had plopped the hovering board on the ground and tried to stand on it. She wobbled forward and back then tried to sweep herself forward. She missed the personal revelation Toso uttered about being He who saved the day from the glob of goo. Toso had nodded and saw her off, after all.
tab - Beginning : Emergency Provisions: - Rank: B {Minimum Posts: 3 [With one leaving the thread to gather and return}
Unki took the initiative to do something and did so wobbling. A swift wind was needed and much so necessary under her feet. The sinister glop was a menace that Unki seemed to just about want to desperately wanted to prove her worth at so that she could be taken more seriously as a person worth her bloodline. Being renown as a hero at a grand scale where the whole village could know her value was a grand gesture Unki could easliy dream about and others who so devotedly dedicated themselves could take this gallant pride. There was still room to be a hero elsewhere in the village and Ika-shokuji needs a hero or two to keep its walls standing. tab As a cursed canine, Unki gave herself a chance to learn the roads that lead to the farmlands. On a typical day, the roads didn't seem like the dangerous sort to take. The borrowed hover board was becoming more like something she could be OK with to get her from where she was leaving and might be the greatest boon to her on a dangerous day like today. ----- EXIT TO THE DROP DISTRICT

Completeing Emergency Provisions: - Rank: B: 3 / 3 posts tab Her return was a heart-pounding endeavor just like the journey out to the farmlands. The hover-board was such a nice contraption despite Unki having at least lost her balance once and consequently whomped face-forward onto the ground somewhere along the way. She had the fabulous fuuin filled with materials rolled and secured in a pocket on her vest and that was what mattered.
tabUnki was in a hurry. The hoverboard hadn't completely finished making whurrling buzzing noises and as she pressed it against her side and hurried in. She needed to find Trefles. "MR. TREFFLUES- TrEFfL... MR TRUFFLES! Eeeck! I don't think that's how your name's pronounced! EeeEEhh. But I have edible things!" Could Unki have been any more discrete? Calling out "edible things" caught the attention of more than one patron and Unki could hear a trail of questions froming behind and around her as she weaved through Ika-shojuki. "Mr. TrefLEs, where is the kitch- HEY! That's my hair!" Unki called out with good, frustrated, people trying to get her attention for answers about when and what meal is going to be served. She eyeballed a young punk, with a fowl glare, who pulled on her braid with the sour comment on how she looked "empty handed".

Talk about poor service. Just because the building appeared to be completely full, the length of this wait was simply unprofessional. Haruko had half a mind to walk back into the kitchen to see what the hold up was. They hadn't even brought out a basket of chips or even a glass of water. And this was supposedly a 5 star establishment. Haruko squeezed out of the booth that she was sharing with a man that seemed to smell like Jabba the Hut after cardio day. She pushed her way through a throng of people to the bar, poking her head over the counter. "Ahem. OHH WAITER!"

The Barkeep would take notice of the blonde-haired roll in the distance while he was trying to keep ragtag alcoholics at bay before hearing the cries of what sounded like a young woman crying for a waiter, did she no understand the weight of the situation that was currently unfurling. A loud crash of something stone occurred on the second floor to which the bartender pushing back an eggheaded man sighed internally. This was not in his job description. There was no time, he'd have liked the assistance of that group of dunderheaded nin that associated themselves with his employer but at their root they were still nin and off likely doing shinobi work. In this moment the bartender decided to levy priorities. The one names Unki of whom he knew and was likely very much trying to assist or the cries of what sounded another one of many in the establishment. "Nohr!"
The sound of a door shutting from within the kitchen. As an individual wearing a suit not unlike the bartenders emerged ducking underneath the doorway. He was uncomfortably tall. At least eight feet tall to be exact. On his head was one of those helmets found as part of those ye olde diving suits. "Be a dear and handle the riff raff will you Bon!" With a loose tilt of the helmet the slitted yellow eyes that were hidden behind it nodded. The men of whom the bartender was having difficulty calming down would find their bodies being wrapped by a large arm and then squeezed. The arm in this instance was no different than when Toso would stretch his arms implying that this individual was likely of Hojo descent. They would then be lifted off the ground as the man approached Haruko. Placing a hand on her shoulder he'd say quite bluntly as the words echoed in the helmet. "Less you've the intent to help miss lady blub. I'd recommend you start calming down and realize we aren't functioning as a restaurant but a shelter currently blub. Keep yourself in check. blub." Removing his 'normal' hand the sound of a small pop was made. He'd then enter the door where he came from which led to the kitchen. There it would be seen he'd open what could only be assumed a walk-in fridge and tossed the two men inside and going in himself. While the chefs were far too occupied to pay him or anyone any mind for that matter.
Dusting himself off the bartender would then have navigated to place his own gloved hand on Unki's shoulder. "Ma douce chérie, you've chosen to return bon. If you've any method of assistance the kitchen is just through that door bon. They could certainly use some extra hands. It has been quite hectic as you can see bon." He would direct Unki to the location of the kitchen to where she could drop of her acquired supplies. He'd proceed to tell her the long list of things that could be of help quickly before a bottle crashed behind his head. He'd then fall forward into Unki's bosom then slide downward for the moment seeming unconscious. Someone needed to calm these riotous folks down.
Belamos entered the restaurant, letting the door slam behind him. He moved slowly as if drugged. Eyes down and unfocused. He knew she was here. This is where all the children had been evacuated too according to the shinobi of the village. Vivian would have her...at least, he hoped so. The issue was that the room was unnaturally, annoyingly, crowded. A strange man behind the bar belted out commands while a tall individual in a metal suit handled rowdy patrons. The facility seemed to be more of a refugee center than a dining establishment. Belamos walked to the bar, shoving people aside as he moved. Those who neared him would find he was hot to the touch- much akin to a metal frying pan in temperature. The air grew stifling as he moved deeper into the room, by the time he neared the bar the area was akin to a sauna. The folks in the bar were getting in his way- too loud and much too aggressive for such a small space. Without any visible movement, a wave of Scorch Chakra shot out of Belamos. Any civilians in the room would instantly pass out- a side effect of a minor form of heat stroke. Was it good for their health? No, but he couldn't care less. The noisy room was now eerily quiet, with only Belamos standing amidst a pile of unconscious civilians, the shinobi in the room entirely unaffected. When he spoke, he did so in a low but serious tone "My daughter- Aurelia. Bring her to me now" He did not see her nor Vivian in the large room, but this facility was large and it was possible they were in another part. He didn't care. He'd burn the building to the ground with everyone still in it to get his way at this point.
Vivian had entered the restaurant with the group of academy students and decided it was best to watch over them. Specifically to make sure that Aurelia was okay. The woman went about making sure that the children had the food they needed and the comfort that they so desired. She knew how hard it was for these children. Not that many years ago she had been in their same exact shoes. It was the curse of being shinobi, you'd likely never know peace. The woman kept track of what was happening at the battle ground. It seemed things had calmed down except for the bijuu enhanced rain that had started to fall. It was a lot to keep track of as she went about getting the children food from the kitchen. The restaurant was just so busy she figured she might as well do it herself. However, as she went about getting each of the children food she noticed something else happening in the distance near the CORE center. Then it felt like a blink of an eye and the place was destroyed by a variety of techniques. Chakra signatures of shinobi were wiped out in a blink of an eye. Specifically one. Tsukina. Vivian brought a tray of food to the remaining children and grabbed Aurelia. Sure enough she felt Belamos's chakra signature change position from the Battle field to the CORE building. This was not going to be good.
Vivian picked Aurelia up and held her close. Belamos was getting closer, the woman felt the burning anger from quite a distance away. Until it literally started to become hotter in the establishment. Vivian set Aurelia down and told her to stay behind her as her hand reflexively was placed on her katana. She knew how Belamos was when he was upset and wouldn't hesitate to protect the people in the restaurant the second it came to it. Vivian heard his voice, asking for his daughter. "Stay behind me sweetie." Vivian would say with a smile down to the little girl. Aurelia at this point was frightened as any small child would be at this given moment. "It'll be okay." Vivian offered her left hand to the child and she held it. Once their hands were interlocked, Vivian started to walk towards the man. The woman got as physically close as she could before stopping just short of the burning aura that the man was putting off. "Belamos she's right here." Vivian put simply as she squeezed the child's hand. In actuality Vivian was somewhat scared herself. "You need to stop your technique before you hurt more people." The order was more of a calm directive than anything. Vivian's eyes moved about the room, seeing all of the people who were still in the presence of the technique, they would only get more dehydrated until their eventual heat death.
Even Kagerou's ever present smile disappeared as she heard the explosion, and the subsequent reactions to it. The... Core compound had blown up, yet here she was.
She had to quell the urge to run out with the CORE shinobi previously assisting at the restaurant and tend to the wounded. Even more than saving those injured, she had to stay here. Her lips quivered and she had to close her eyes. She wouldn't doubt if there were numerous civilians caught in the blast as well. It hurt, in a way, and Kagerou needed to take a breath so she could refocus her mind on her task, to push to the back of her head this new reminder that the whole village was falling apart and people needed to be saved. Not in a little bit, or after she's had ample time to prepare, but right now. However, if she rushed herself, she knew it would only create mistakes. Calm and collected, such is the shinobi way. She could do this, she'd done this before, and it was precisely because she believed such was the best way to handle crises that she had chosen this occupation where sacrifices must be made.
In short, her thoughts weren't all that different from Toso's, though she recovered quicker and without much of a ripple. Kagerou stared solemnly at Toso, her red eyes giving him a heavy look as if the burden he had placed upon himself wasn't already heavy enough. She knew, from just hearing him say it, that this was a decision he made himself, in both an official and personal sense.
His bravery should be applauded, but this sort of choice should not be made by a mere... whatever rank it was Toso was. In this sort of case, any rank below kage was really not enough. The demons were powerful weapons. Toso wouldn't just be a container, he'd be a highly trained shinobi with a powerful force within his means. Kagerou trusted Toso. She knew that he would not make this choice for power, and in fact, this choice was torture for him. It was why she praised his bravery.
Her frown deepened, and she nodded, eyes unblinkingly boring into Toso all the way until he left. She agreed not out of assent, which wasn't something she could give in her position, but understanding. Even though she knew him, she could not agree with his actions. On a personal level, she feared Toso will face repercussions for his decision. On a professional level, read above. On both levels, however, to reiterate, her thoughts weren't all that different from Toso's. The slug demon needed to be stopped now. The attack earlier wasn't anything like the demon's prior attacks... Kagerou was oblivious to the true extent of the chaos, but she could fear the worst.
The smile, only a very small one, returned to Kagerou's face as she realized her thoughts had begun winging themselves. Well, hopefully, if everything did go to hell, it'd be in a way that she can laugh about it in the future.
Toso had long since gone by then. Kagerou had already briskly walked over to Toso's bartender and received the vial by the time she could smile again. She smiled because, well, frowning wasn't going to accomplish anything. Lightly and calmly was always how she thought best.
She focused on the vial, and despite the many questions she had, she knew the answers to what was important. Queries like how and from where were easy for her to ignore, besides. She'd done similar for most of her childhood.
This sort of chakra, as she observed it and opened her mind to feel the energy that emanated from it, becoming a silent oasis in the middle of screaming children, she felt relieved. In stark contrast to the vicious picture the demon painted, the energy appeared almost peaceful. Good. Kagerou doubted any demon would be "easy" for Toso to host, but this would be easier than most.
She was just about wrapping up the observation when the ever famous Belamos strode in. Kagerou glanced up as she felt the oppressive heat fill the room. The frown returned, mostly out of consternation about what to do in this situation. There were more than a few things that rubbed her the wrong way about the way this man chose to introduce himself, one of which was actually sympathy for his overbearing concern for his daughter but the rest weren't nice things about him.
Blame the situation for a less tolerant Kagerou.
Before she was caught up in a whirlwind of drama, Kagerou quietly exited through the pathway Toso left her, closing the door to his dimension, which she had been carefully guarding by sitting right smack in front of it so that no one, particularly the children, got any funny ideas.

xAurelia Karna
It had been an exciting day, to say the very least. Aurelia, the splitting image of her mother, had been playing with friends and enjoying the day when all of a sudden, panic had struck the village. The adults had gathered them all up and were shouting and screaming about something. The child was beginning to get scared and put on a brave face that was peeling away the more the day went on. It wasn't long before the children were all corralled into a large group. "Wh-What's going on?" She asked one of the adults who told her everything was okay. No matter how hard she pressed, an answer wouldn't be given. Tears began to flow down her face. She wanted to go home. She wanted to hug her mother and father and fall asleep in their arms as they made everything bad go away. Her tears must have caught somebody's attention as her godmother, Vivian, came to help comfort her. She promised that nothing would happen and that everything would be all right, just like the other teachers. It helped her feel a little better but Aurelia was still unsure of everything. Was the village under attack? Noises in the distance were booming and things were crashing down. The young girl held onto Vivian for the remainder of the way to the restaurant along with the rest of the frightened children. Just as they got inside rain would begin to fall down from outside, yet...it was different. She couldn't tell exactly why or how but it just didn't seem like rain.
Aurelia sat near the rest of her friends, who were all concerned and talking with each other. The general consensus around the kids was that somebody had attacked them. Everybody spoke as Aurelia would just hold her stuffed bear. It was special, somewhere she always brought with her. Her mother had gotten for her on her 1st birthday, and she had yet to part with it since. Some might have said she was a little too old to hold onto it but Aurelia didn't care. In times like these, it brought her some comfort of mind. Her parents were out right now, probably fending off any invaders that stepped foot into the village. Food was brought out for them and Aurelia wasn't exactly hungry. She grabbed some small pieces are nibbled on them before Vivian had come to take her somewhere. She looked back at her classmates and friends before looking up at Vivian. It suddenly hit her. A great wave of heat coming from in front of the restaurant. There would be no mistaking it, that was her father! Being used to the levels of heat coming from him, the girl was rendered immune to its effects but that couldn't be said about the rest of the people in here. A few were already sweating considerably. Her little feet would have taken her to him had it not been for Vivian holding her hand with some words to go alongside it.
"Stay behind me sweetie."
Aurelia, conflicted, just quietly gave a nod of her head and moved along with the woman. She was still shaking from the entire ordeal, worrying greatly for her dear old parents. Vivian and her walked through the crowd of people before the girl's eyes fell onto Belamos. Their same color eyes met as Aurelia finally allowed the tears to slip down her young cheeks. "D-Daddy..." she spoke in a quivering voice, akin to a whisper. Her hand was gently squeezed by Vivian as she wiped the tears on her sleeve. "I'm scared. I-I wanna go home..." Her bear as still in her arms, protecting his owner by looking as fearsome and intimidating as a teddy bear could be. Vivian spoke up again, Aurelia looking up to her with a soft whine.
"You need to stop your technique before you hurt more people."
Very few people ever tried to give an order to her father like that, let alone actually do it without the formalities of rank. She looked back to Belamos and would continued to wait until she was allowed to go and embrace her father.
While Unki had yanked her braid free from the angry, young punk she still had to bat away people with answers more than hands. "As soon as I can get to the kitchen, I promise something will be worked on! Please scoot! Scoot! Excuse me!" The rally of unhappy people wasn't easy to muddle through and finding a door that looked like the way to the kitchen turned out to be easier than she thought when an incredibly tall helmet-sporting squid inadvertently showed her the way as they carried two rowdy shelter-ees off. Unki's expression lit up having been shown the way and granted Trefle's blessing and guidance. She happily imagined herself picking things up to head into the kitchen behind helmet-squid. No! Some mystery block-head chucked a bottle at Mr. Trefles's head and caused his person to fall plainly on to Unki's person. Trefles is very much a taller person and Unki found herself quickly trying to catch and stop him from sliding to the floor.
tab Granted, Unki investing herself in holding Mr. Trefles meant the she'd have to brush off the shiver sliding down her spine and get over that some acquaintance of hers was flopped against her torso. She wedged and ran her arms under his and wrapped what she could of them around his torso. Goodness knows how just lucky she was that the projection of the bottle was square to hit Trefles and not off enough to collide with her face. The cheerless Unki tightly hugged and bounced Trefles's to get a better grasp on him and then started to drag him off to the kitchen where'd he could be safer with Mr. Helmet. She started to mumble something about limp noodles and pillows but the majority of her rattled speech was widely incoherent among the packed crowd she squeezed herself through.
tabNow, with the number of bodies packed and rampant with energy in Unki's immediate area she was expecting to stump through a slightly warmer environment. A naturally warmer environment with heat from the over-worked kitchen and distressed people about making a person, unlike Unki, slightly uncomfortable however manageable. By now, Unki had pulled Trefles along to the kitchen door and started to push her back against it to break in. He was starting to feel heavy. Yet, the weight of Trefles could not compare to the weight of catching sight of patrons suddenly looking exhausted and weary. If not for the audible gasp of alarm from civilians watching their neighbors collapse to the heat wave. A heat wave Unki couldn't register right away.
tab The chunin just about allowed Trefles to slide off and drop completely when her grip about his body lessened and his own weight allowed him to slump down her torso. Unki sharply gasped as she frantically heaved him upward and resumed the task of shuffling backwards into the kitchen. After having effectively moved to the kitchen, Unki maneuvered herself to be free of Trefles and tried to ease him to the floor. The process of easing was smooth until the end when the itch to spring to figure out just what the good people knew that she didn't. She accidentally let his head, face rather, hit the kitchen floor and regrettably left him there. It would be an absolutely peachy thing if Trefles was briefly senseless as Unki hoped. The mistake wouldn't be registered by Unki until she had already flung herself through the kitchen door.
tab Unki dashed out of the kitchen and slowed only to carefully move about dizzy patrons before coming to a complete stop at the sight presented. She was alarmed, confused, and openly concerned. But what could she do? Dozens of innocent bystanders were subjected to the warmth Unki was finally catching wind of and the source it ebbed from. The Red Spear-man. The last memory she had of the raging Red Spear-man was his efforts to end her while she was stuck in a defiled, canine form. He was proving himself to be a reckless and raw individual that was considerably cold under the heated exterior. The worst part was that Unki was beginning to connect the dots as how the Red Ruin's creations didn't completely affect her in crustacean form and why she wasn't suffering in the heated torment at the rate everyone else seemed to. tab This was an absolutely rare opportunity to be facing someone who may very well one much like herself. However, this potential find was quite the opposite of what Unki wanted to ever find. If this heat was very much a product of such scorched line Unki could plainly imagine the extent of what could happen the situation soured. Of the number of thoughts to come to mind a hopeful solution was beaten down: I need to get the kitchen to bring out water! N-no wait that wouldn't be good. We'd have a steam bath at this rate. With a look of unease coming and going Unki looked back and forth at the those few who could still stand: the assumed ninja and child. The other thoughts which badgered Unki were shoved aside, least to distract her, but the tragic flaw that's known as "opening her impatient, temperamental mouth" prevailed. " I'd take this trade-off to the front door or this could end as a fish fry." With her peace said and in the air Unki pressed her lips together and narrowed her sights on Vivian. She seemed a tad jittery to start pulling innocent casualties into the kitchen. tab

As soon as he saw Vivian and his daughter his face relaxed from the hard set frown it was currently in. He rushed towards her arms outstretched. He dropped to a knee and scooped the small girl up, hugging her close and letting her sit on his forearm as he stood up with her in his arms. She couldn't see it, but tears were beginning to form in the Konin's eyes "Oh thank god...oh thank god" He muttered over and over again as he held his child. The shinobi in the room would also notice that the heat had almost instantly vanished. In fact there was now quite the cool breeze as cooler winds descended to replace the now rising hot air. For a brief moment, as Belamos held Aurelia, he glanced over to Vivian and caught her eye. In his gaze she would see behind the curtain to Belamos's true self for a fleeting moment- indescribable pain and unyielding rage being plain to see in his eyes...but, more than that, relief at the safety of his daughter. These emotions were only plain for a second, as when Belamos stooped over to set his daughter back on the ground he had redonned his mask of regality and psuedo-normality, if for none other than Aurelia's own sake. She...wasn't ready to hear the news.
Belamos knew that Vivian knew. There wasn't a chance in hell an event like that would have transpired without her noticing. He couldn't say much in front of his daughter, so he simply stared at her for a few seconds before slowly closing his eyes and shaking his head. Belamos knelt down and held his daughter's hand. "I need to go talk to Aunt Viv for a moment, Sweetie. Stay here and practice your jutsu. I'll be right back" He cast a glance around the room, daring anyone to speak up or offer the most minuscule form of protest. He needed an outlet right now and beating any of these supposed 'comrades' into the ground sounded delightful.
When none spoke up, Belamos rose up and walked out the back door and into an Alleyway outside. Trusting Vivian to follow, he waited outside for her to arrive. Once she joined him outside, she would find Belamos leaned against the side of the neighboring building, a forearm bracing himself. He had his back to her and was...shaking. Tremors seemed to wrack his body as his head hung low, long hair dangling towards the earth "She's dead Viv. Those degenerates killed her" He said softly. Belamos didn't move for a handful of moments, seemingly letting the words hang in the air. Without warning he suddenly reared back and began punching the wooden wall upon which he was leaning. Laying into the structure over and over again with right hooks. After one punch in which his fist went clean through the structure, he spun around and let his back his the wall. He slid down the length of it until his butt hit the ground, holding his head in his hands as renewed tears flowed from his face "I'm going to kill them all Vivian. I swear on my life- the Whirlpool, Kogarashi...I don't care anymore. These beasts deserve to die" He didn't move to get up or even raise his head to look at her. He just sat there- not a king, just a wounded and angry man who needed to be reassured that everything was going to be okay eventually.
Trefles would slowly but surely start regaining his consciousness. The slam to the floor helped in that regard. As he rose he heard a distinctive *crack* noise. None had noticed yet being as occupied as they were. Then his mask fell on the ground in two parts as the dramatic *duh dun* noise played. On the floor what seemed to be gooey drippings started to sprinkle. Immediately before any could gaze upon his visage he placed both his hands to cover his face before exclaiming as loud as he could. "NOHR! SOMEONE! C'est TERRIBLE!" Rising to his feet it was likely Nohr was busy having brought home with him again. The bartender was shakey as if he were ill before concluding that maybe his little helper was still around. "CHERIE! I NEED YOU TO HOLD THE FORT BON! I'VE A NATTER TO ATTEND TO!" He then started barreling through the kitchen before bumping into someone of whom he aggressively pushed out the way "Move Charlatan!". He'd sound and become much more aggressive before the sound of the employee restroom clicked shut locking. Apparently, Unki was in charge now. A position of leadership she never asked for. That was the way of the world of shinobi after all and it was to put a test to that title.

Had Haruko been sneaky and snoopy she would have followed and found the helmet wearing 'man' in the freezer threatening the two individuals who had packed themselves tightly in a corner. "Best listen blubs. You cool off and behave yourselves blub. Less you want to be next on the empty meat hooks blubs." The two men nodded before one asked: "S...s...so you g..g..ga..ga..gunna let us out a here?" To which the man's head cocked to the side and refused to answer. There was another door in the meat locker that lead somewhere else. Haruko would have to be quick about it to follow before the door would shut and lock. Had she followed she would find it connected to a waterway. With as large a fridge as the restaurant had the runoff from ice that would melt occasionally seemed to travel through here. It was a dank and moist waterway that would likely connect to the sewer through some branching path somewhere or another. The totally normal human would then turn around momentarily to check to make sure he wasn't followed. Whether Haruko was cunning enough to evade perceptions was to be determined.
There were a scarce few places to hide, the only obvious one being a trash bin, one that likely was filled with old meat or fish that had gone bad among other less than pleasant leftovers. This was clearly noticeable when approaching said trashcan. Two obvious options, hide in the trashcan or behind it but the second option might prove riskier than the first when it came to being noticed less, of course, she had an alternative method of hiding herself fast enough. {If you decide to use this conventional method roll a rng between 1-2 simply hiding behind the trashcan, if Nohr's number matches your roll you'll be noticed.}
