Obei walked through the lands, one hand clutching the strap attached to her gourd and the other swinging loosely at her side. The seven foot tall monstrosity of a woman would peak out from the horizon while quietly continuing forward. Her boots hit the ground with a thud as the pale woman trudged forward to continue seeking out her mother. There had been no leads thus far, and anyone that tried to attack her didn't really seem in the mood for helping after he lodged them into a tree. Her brows in a permanent state of worry and concern, Obei would march on.
Some noises of combat would catch her attention. Racing forward in anticipation of a good fight, the oni would arrive to find no such scene. Instead, a man would seem to find a boy of sorts on the ground. He hefted him over his shoulder and then went on his merry way. Blinking, Obei would slowly make it a goal to follow the man. Who knows if he was a friend or somebody who found their next meal. Besides, maybe he knew something about where her mother had went.

__ Kagami disembarked from the ship and left her agents on board to guard the ship and the supplies and weapons they looted from the Uzu military caravans. Before leaving she told her agents to offload the Uzu supplies in the Land of Floods somewhere after she left. The agents traveled to Seizan and offloaded the pilfered weapons there before returning to the ship. During this time, she found a spot to hide off the main road in anticipation for Chie to send a messenger. She needed to make sure this messenger would not go to Arashigakure to reveal her false message. She was still completely disguised as an Arashigakure operative with a mask on and a stormcloud forehead protector.

__ Zhi really hated being out on the open water, but she didn't exactly have any alternative means of travel. Although, this brought Zhi to question her companion, "Oi... Wrath. Couldn't you have just used that swirly jutsu to bring us to Arashigakure? That would've made things a whole lot easier..." Zhi spoke from behind her mask to Masato, all while still keeping an eye on the nearing coastline of the Land of Floods. They were already almost there now, so it really wasn't brought up as much for the sake of arriving but perhaps it would be easier to return to Uzushio through that means. Before much longer their ferry would dock and the pair of VORTEX operatives would depart. Once again, Zhi took point and kept Masato aware of every detail she sensed through detection of both chakra and natural energy without even having to utter a word between them. She quickly darted along, mostly keeping her guard up for any Arashigakure ninja that might end up attacking on sight or something of that nature. They would have to answer for what happened in the Land of Eddies, but that wasn't hers or Masato's mission today. What was most confusing was the deeply unanswered question of why Arashi decided to attack Uzu out of the blue in such a blatant manner. Zhi was only a jonin, so her role in this was to speculate and gather any information she could for those that would ultimately decide how things went from here. Even still, her gut feeling told her that something was definitely off about the whole matter. She just couldn't place what that was without knowing more.
Seven kilometers away, ahead on the route to Arashigakure, a lone figure pinged in her sensory range. Masato would be equally alerted to this thanks to the Enlightening Brand. There was plenty of warning given the distance, and thanks to Zhi's resolution of detail she could instantly pick out a variety of information regarding the figure hiding near the road. "Hey, that one seems pretty strong- a little stronger than me if just going off of how much chakra they seem to have." Zhi paused in her run to get Masato's opinion; although, she half expected what his answer would be to the following question, "Should we take a detour?" It was bad enough that they might be in conflict with Arashigakure, but powerful figures like this waiting in ambush definitely made things all the more concerning. It wasn't that Zhi didn't think they couldn't handle the challenge, but rather a question of whether they should go through the extra trouble. For now, the potential enemy could continue to wait where they were at.
The waves of the sea crested and splashed over the stern of the small ship as they neared the docks. He was impatient. He hated waiting, especially when there was nothing to do but watch the time pass. During this time, he would meditate on his path to power. As he did, Zhi would call him by his code name. 'Wrath'. It was fitting. He was almost vengeful with the brutality of his taijutsu. That is exactly how he earned the name. Her question was valid. Masato exhaled sharply behind the mask. " Had to have been there before. " He replied plainly. Soon the shorline would near them, giving them their entry to the land of lightning.
Upon land fall, both Zhi and Masato would sense the presence of a chakra source in the far distance. Masato's grin covered his face beneath the oni visage. " Yeah, I can sense this one." When Zhi asked about the detour, Wrath would chuckle. " Funny stuff. Straight through it is." As Masato gave his direction on the matter, he would take point towards the foretold location. As Masato moved closer he felt the hair on the back of his neck raise. ' Maybe this is what that old man was talking about. All that end of the world stuff.' It was a stretch, but not an unreasonable assumption given the timing of the introduction.
The spot seemed normal. It was a plain outcrop on the side of the road. There wasn't much in the way of cover as he would notice a female donning black garbs with a covered face and arashi headband. Masato would pause twenty feet before her, the wind blowing his own black traveling cloak about to reveal his barefooted feet and black under garments. His black eye would not draw much attention from one of the oni mask's eyes, the other however would be as red as the mask. Kagami wouldn't distinguish it's origin quite yet as it was indeed different in color than her husbands but it was visible from behind the mask. " Yo. Where's this Village of yours at? Why're you posted up all alone?" Masato would ask in an already agitated tone. From his slumber Kurama would grumble. 'Damned Turtles...' Masato wouldn't know the meaning, not yet.

__ Zhi just sighed as Masato's anticipated answer came to light. "Okay, then how about you go blow off some steam and meet me there? Don't take too long though. You're our quickest ride back home." Zhi started to follow Masato at first but split off to side roads along the way to Arashigakure. She had to find those two that had been sent to the storm village and get back home to Taylor as quick as possible. Masato could handle himself. If he got lost then she could just help him catch up really easily. Even still, Zhi felt it would be a good idea to keep tabs on him through their shared Enlightening Brand seals. This detour would take her through a large farming village called Seizan, but she wouldn't dally there for long at all.
__ Kagami watched as a masked man approached from off in the distance. She stayed at her post watching the road for some time without seeing anybody pass. She was beginning to worry that her messenger died of his wounds before reaching Chie. Her anxiety was alleviated, however, as the silhouette approached. Plenty of people trafficked the roads, but this looked like he could be Chie's messenger. Before she could even react Isobu chimed in. "K-K-K-Kurama...he's here and he has a jinchuuriki." Isobu cowered over the appearance of his strongest brother, the nine tailed fox. There was no one else on the road so that meant it could only be him. "Damn it, of course, she sends the kyuubi host." She then presupposed that this man must be involved with Uzu as a shinobi. That village was never going to let its prized weapon go.
When he stopped and questioned her she would not speak. "He's on his way to Arashi, he could only be on one mission." Admittedly, this was an assumption on her part, but she learned to trust her gut in this inter-village subterfuge business. She weaved a few handsigns together as Masato would watch a ten-foot oval-shaped water mirror with a glassy surface but a watery constitution formed in front of him. He would see his reflection before the mirror immediately shattered before him. Hundreds of large shards of glass then pierced through his body. He would feel flesh being ripped from bone. He would feel his entire body tense up in a paralysis. This powerful illusion would not be discerned by his dojutsu and would also be impossible to kai out of because of her Sakkakugan's strengthening. She knew as well as any jinchuuriki that a bijuu could release him from the illusion immediately, but that had its limits. Four other identical mirrors formed around the area with one next to Kagami to serve as a possible shield. She waited, if her shattering hypnosis took effect then the cantrip would leave him open to a guaranteed strike.

Upon doing so she creates up to five circular mirrors made of water and glass anywhere within thirty feet of herself. Each mirror is ten feet in diameter and suspended in a fixed midair position when created but can be angled in any direction. The water mirrors are a made from water with glass reflective surfaces constructed from Kagami's Hari clan kekkei genkai making the mirrors fully compatible with her other Hari techniques. The mirrors' broad surfaces are perfectly flat and will completely reflect the images of everything they're angled toward on both sides. The water mirrors will reduce to unformed water and shards of glass after five posts.

The shards then launch towards the opponent in a malestrom of glass that cuts into them and causes extreme pain and paralysis for a mere moment.
Kugai [ World of Suffering ] While having the Sakkakugan active during a genjutsu, the user will supply an amount of chakra equal to half the genjutsu's base cost in order to further modify the technique. The enhanced genjutsu can no longer be broken by the releasing technique [ Kai.] However, no matter what the genjutsu's description says, it can now be broken by amounts of pain scaling with the rank of the technique. ( If the genjutsu costs [40] chakra to perform, modifying it will cost [20] chakra.

From behind the guise of the red oni mask, his black eye would shift into it's red and black form, taking the flowered appearance of the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan just as Kagami's hands melded together to form the first string of hand signs. ' I can't recognize the jutsu...' he thought to himself as the hand seals neared completion. He would activate the technique he had developed himself, a counter to the creation of all techniques. Chakra Negation. Just as Kagami had completed the formation of the technique's hand seals, the expansive implantation of Masato's chakra would clash with her own, dispersing it into the air harmlessly. " Masato! You fool that's a Jinchuriki! Don't leave an opening!" his voice echoed in Masato's head, warning him of the danger. Responding to Kurama's warnings, Masato would unleash his final transformation as Jinchuriki. His body would glow with golden flames as black markings formed around linear patterns on his body. A circle appeared directly in the center of his chest as three black lines formed on either side of his face.
With the transformation complete, Masato stomped his foot, releasing a wave of demonic flame chakra that would wash over Kagami. Should it do so, she would begin to suffer hallucinations, her disorientated state preventing her from firing any techniques in the correct direction. In addition, with a raised hand, Masato would create a black orb upon his hand. This black orb would glow with his golden chakra as it was launched directly at Kagami who would still be ablaze with the fox's flames. This small annihilation technique had the power to level small villages, Isobu's jinchuriki would have to act quickly to defend herself from both barrages.

__ When Kagami's chakra was negated Kagami immediately resumed her hand signs. "What the ********> She yelled internally as she continued to attempt to mold chakra. Finally, a water mirror formed in front of her. This ten-foot mirror acted as a shield which blocked the double onslaught of techniques. A second mirror then formed in front of Masato and was enchanted. He would then watch as the mirror shattered into hundreds of pieces. The maelstrom of glass would then dig into his body and tear his flesh. His body would also tense up into a full body paralysis. Kagami's active Sakkakugan also strengthened the illusion to make it impossible to pierce with dojutsu and equally impossible to kai out of. The last thing Kagami wanted was to fight this powerful jinchuurki for long. She had grander plans for this man, but she wanted to see if he would take the bait.

Upon doing so she creates up to five circular mirrors made of water and glass anywhere within thirty feet of herself. Each mirror is ten feet in diameter and suspended in a fixed midair position when created but can be angled in any direction. The water mirrors are a made from water with glass reflective surfaces constructed from Kagami's Hari clan kekkei genkai making the mirrors fully compatible with her other Hari techniques. The shards then launch towards the opponent in a malestrom of glass that cuts into them and causes extreme pain and paralysis for a mere moment.
Kugai [ World of Suffering ] While having the Sakkakugan active during a genjutsu, the user will supply an amount of chakra equal to half the genjutsu's base cost in order to further modify the technique. The enhanced genjutsu can no longer be broken by the releasing technique [ Kai.] However, no matter what the genjutsu's description says, it can now be broken by amounts of pain scaling with the rank of the technique. ( If the genjutsu costs [40] chakra to perform, modifying it will cost [20] chakra.

Masato would grimace as the woman blocked his onslaught with the Mirror. The blast of the small annihilation ball would erupt, scarring the land to the right and left for hundreds of feet. As the blast was split, Masato formed a quick hand sign that crossed his index and middle finger from both hands. One hundred Masato would meld into existence, each bearing their own chakra cloak.Several of the Masato before Kagami's mirror would explode upon the Genjutsu's effects on their mind. Their mental pain would not go unnoticed by the original Masato as he melted into the crowd.
This would still leave seventy five Masato lingering around Kagami that shared the remaining chakra pool. From directly behind Kagami, fifty of the Masato within the crowd would burst into the green glow of the gates. The gates would be consecutively released from the first and second gate. As the heat in the area climbed from the expansive release of physical energy, the chakra restorative abilities of the second gate would replenish the fifty clones as ten of them were dispersed and had their chakra returned to the original Masato, restoring his reserves entirely.
The remaining Masato readied themselves for action as Masato's Rinnegan glowed neon red, his hand shooting forward towards Kagami as he stood in the center of the crowd several feet from her. The attractive forces of the Rinnegan would take hold of Kagami. If successful, they would draw her into the crowd and into the original Masato's hand. He would grasp her by the neck, clenching her throat tightly as he intended to crush it with his bare hands. " You're....pretty strong..." He said between heavy breaths. He still hid behind his oni Mask, hiding his identity and facial expressions that were laced with pain and exhaustion. While his chakra and stamina reserves were no longer suffering, the twenty five shadow clones that had perished at the hands of her genjutsu had transferred that experience of withstanding those blows several times. Regardless of his physical ability to withstand pain, the mentally perceived pain wore at him as he held onto her with less than his full strength. Kurama burned in the back of his mind. " Masato..." The fox said in a grumble as he realized he would need to take over soon if nothing more than to save his hosts body.

_☆ [ A Rank ] ____★his jutsu is essentially a massive version of the Shadow Clone Technique. Instead of a few clones, it creates a few hundred. This is considered a forbidden jutsu, because it can potentially be dangerous to the person performing it, seeing as how all of the clones are given an equal amount of chakra directly from the user. Naruto learned the technique from the scroll of forbidden seals written by the First Hokage. Few people are able to use this technique effectively, due to the large amount of chakra it consumes. However, this weakness is not an issue to Naruto, due to his massive chakra reserves. Having such reserves allows him to create hundreds of clones while maintaining a decent supply of chakra in each one. This technique is also used by Naruto to train quickly, since all the clones share their experiences with Naruto, but it causes extreme fatigue with repeated use. While the effects of this gate itself are, again, not that strong in and of themselves. The effects do stack with the previous gate and the true might of the gates starts to be shown. Once the gate has been activated, the gates create a sort of awakening effect within the users chakra system forcing it to cultivate chakra at a much higher rate then normal. This results in the user's being granted one quarter, rounded down, of their maximum chakra and stamina as a refund. In addition to this, the user gains another moderate increase to their strength speed and reflexes. This increase stacks with the previous gates' increases.

__ Kagami was pulled in by Masato's powerful rinnegan technique. She gasped as she felt his hand squeeze around her tightly but briefly. His grip loosened significantly as even she could tell that her powerful genjutsu tortured his mind. She could breathe in this position somewhat and managed to make an utterance. "Release me and destroy Arashigakure with all your might for what they did to Uzu and make sure they know that you are fighting for the Whirlpool." Kagami's voice was clear enough to Masato as she struggled to speak while applying an immense amount of genjutsu chakra to her vocal cords. This was the greatest manipulation technique known to the world and as such was at the Kogarashi leader's disposal. Just as kages gained access to the highest levels of techniques, Kagami would as well as a powerful leader in her own right. Masato was mentally exhausted and susceptible to her powerful influence. If this was successful then Uzu's fate as Arashi's enemy was sealed. Kagami looked around and realized just how much raw power this one man had at his disposal. There was something familiar about this man's power and even his grip around her neck. In any case, Masato would be forced to carry out her order if he could not resist her dominating command. If he could resist even this highest magnitude of genjutsu then she would have to take away his powers with her Sakkakugan but she hoped not to resort to that. This man was a weapon that she could use to exact vengeance on Arashi for herself and for Sandayu.

Masato would be unfortunately affected by Kagami's command. His mind felt dulled as the shadow clones around him would also hear the voice, seeming to lose their focus on the woman. Masato's right hand would begin to loosen. His arm would allow her to be lowered. His eyes focused on the woman as he gritted his teeth. " What....they...did...?" he said forcibly as he was conflicted. He wasn't aware of them attacking the village of Uzugakure...but the woman's words held such powerful persuasion over him he couldn't continue to fight it. His mind flashed with images of the dead ninja at the roads....the Uzukage's office leveled. Having not been looped into the situation while he was outside the village would only strengthen the doubt in any other influence.
Masato turned as his clones dispersed. He took a few steps towards the gates of the village they had journeyed to. His sharingan and rinnegan combination shifted to the woman before he left. "Grr...." he grumbled as he vanished.
