Physical Description: K'gan has a very youthful boyish face and possible always will, even growing into adulthood his round features, button nose and full cheeks stop him from gaining any true look of maturity. Meanwhile his body and limbs have gone the other way becoming long and angular but his muscles are defined and wirey, he is a lot stronger than he looks.

He likes to keep his thick wavy brown hair short but never bothers to cut it so the usual length ends up brushing around his jaw. His eyes are large and expressive with a hazel colouring that can look deep brown or vibrant green depending on the light. His clothes are always very sturdy leathers and tough fabric but they still get worn away and ripped regularly.

Personality: People Say that if K'gan had wings he'd challenge the sky. As it is he often flies high and far on his faithful blue. K'gan doesn't know the meaning of the word fear, unfortunately he also doesn't seem to know the meaning of reckless endangerment or mortality. The Weyr's very own dare devil a adrenalin junky in the truest sense of the word. If its dangerous possibly fatal K'gan has probably at least attempted it. Things like diving off higher and higher cliffs in to smaller and smaller bodies of water and going down the river rapids in a small fishing boats are just some of the things he has tried in the past.

K'gan truly has the devils luck because pern only knows how he is still alive. He has been to the healers probably more times than anyone else in the weyr but apart from the occasional broken bone never been taken in with anything to serious.

When he is not doing anything K'gan is extremely twitchy, sitting and listening is not something he does well and he'd rather just do. Even if its chores He can only take so much lecturing before he completely tunes out or starts complaining...loudly. Seeing as he has never shown a talent for much else he is well versed in simple chores and in all truth he doesn't mind them as long as they involve some sort of physical activity. When things get boring he'll try and jazz them up in his own style like trying to sweep with three brooms at the same time. It will get done faster that way right?
Either that or his wingleader will relent and let him go out on search or patrol which is really the best use of his time as he will never get bored of being in the company of Singarth

He also looks for his thrills in competition. Want to race? Want to see who can swim faster? Want to see who can find the highest tree and climb it? Want to....Well you get the idea. Don't worry though. Win or loose K'gan always takes it in good humour. He rarely looses his temper but when he gets scolded he does have a tendency to sulk for a short time before he seems to forget it and bounce back just as over the top as ever.

Like everything else he dose K'gan talks a mile a minute and often runs all over the conversation and other peoples feelings, speaking before he thinks his comments have the ability to hurt those more sensitive.But K'gan will be oblivious to the harm he has caused unless someone tells him outright and even then often wave it off as people being to sensitive.

When women roll their eyes and mutter 'men' as an oath under their breath, they probably mean K'gan. He is fun to be around, presenting himself as 'one of the boys' and full of infectious energy but he has no ideas about deep feelings of others and if you cry around him then he'll just get uncomfortable and start looking for the nearest exit.

A deep thinker K'gan is not, he tends to leap before he looks and if there is a bed of spikes at the bottom, so be it. K'gan always tries to live in the moment, not looking back and not regretting what has come before he adjusts to any new situation and environment quickly and is accepting of any changes that go on around him. He takes life as it comes trying to enjoy every step.

History: All in all, very boring. His mother was a kitchen worker his father a healer. He never had much contact with his father and he spent his childhood running riot with the other weyrbrats. When he was six his father was unlucky enough to catch a disease from a patient he was treating and died but Keigan barley remembers him. Tthe death did bring him closer to his mother and he still has much more contact with her than most of his friends do with their birth parents.

The first time he stood for impression he didn’t get picked and the second time he had to sit out because he had broken his arm rock climbing. He didn't know if he'd impress but it never bothered him when he didn't. Yet when friends and fellow weyr brats started to vanish from his rank of cohorts to bond to their own partners he took it more seriously. And Singarths hatching just happened to be one of the most entertaining things he had ever seen with dragons chasing each other and bowling through candidates. K'gan almost got himself mauled by a green but Singarth stepped in, protected him and called out to his one and only.

Since then the pair have been a stable and mostly reliable part of the wing. And soon joined the ranks of the search riders to get out a bit more and see the world. Neither dragon or rider have shown much ambition to reach beyond their current station.

Age: 7
Color: Blue
Size: 29
Physical Description: Singarth is a very well proportioned dragon, one could even say is The phenotype for dragonkind when it comes to conformation. He's neither too big, nor too small, for a blue and has all of the stamina and agility of his color. What he does have, however, is a killer nose. Hide your food, hide your candidate-aged children.

His hide is a beautiful and rich dark blue with a few lines and ticks of ligher colouring and a distinct crescent moon marking on his forehead.

Personality: Helllllorrroooooo~! Singarth is very very very glad to meet you and you and you and you! Oh, did you think this blue was the anti-social type? Honestly now! He's the life of the party, the after party, the ride home, and the morning after! In fact, there are just not enough exclamation points in the world to properly exhibit the degree of this blue dragons enthusiasm! Don't let his dark hide fool you, he's full of positive sunshine and just dying to share it with the world. The whole world. All of it. Starting with his rider and spreading exponentially from there!

What happens when it isn't play time? Well, Singarth does have his quieter moments, though they are laced with his own brand of compassion that just begs to melt your heart. He can give surprising good advice and appears to have a rather firm grip on the intricacies of the heart. When he chooses to guide, he does so gently, with a serenity almost at odds with his playful side. His is a heart that bleeds for others, and his rider may find all sorts of critters and young things sheltered in his wallow during foul weather. Truly, this blue is a caring soul... and that does lead to a fair bit of foul play when he is led astray into 'games' that may not actually be game. Naive he most certainly is, but you could never say that his heart wasn't in the right place. When he does figure out that he has been played, and not in the good way, this blue lapses into a morose silence that not even the best joke can lift. Only his chosen rider can get him out of these funks, but even then he will likely be doubtful of his own worth and grave for at least a little while longer. He requires someone he trusts to remind him that he is worth it, that Rukbat is indeed still shining and there is still joy to be had.

Once snapped out of his doldrums, Singarth bounces back remarkably well considering the state he gets in. Usually getting a little air under his wingsails helps, preferably somewhere he hasn't been before. He thoroughly enjoys traveling to new places, and has a very good nose for anything from potential candidates, hotbeds of trouble among Holders, to a flock of wild wherries. He does know how to hold back his eagerness when meeting strangers (it pays to be respectful) but once introductions are over and permission is given? All bets are off, Singarth is ready to do what he does best!

When it comes to following orders, Singarth is a respectful fellow, and actually seems to like following orders so long as they make sense. He's not silly, after all. Energetic, maybe. Happy, always. But not dim, he'd definitely enjoy his games a whole lot less if he wasn't bright enough to think them up to be good and long! Speaking of good and long, Singarth loves Flights. Adores them. They are the very best game of chase that has ever been invented, and he adores each and every green he chases with all of this heart for as long as he remembers to!

Connections: K'gan has been at the weyr all his life, he was made a candidate as soon as he was old enough an he is approaching his first decade of being a rider. So naturally he would know a lot of people about the weyr, from fellow weybrats to the kitchen workers that work along side his mother. I want to explore those established connections in friends an even family. Please feel free to approach with ideas.

Drinking buddies Party animals like K'gan always need some good drinking buddies.

Healers: Because of his nature K'gan ends up in healers hall alot. I'd love to him to have some established relationships with healers that like to scold him or tease him because of his frequent visits.
