Hunthyex - He/Him
His eyes flickered to the side for a moment, assessing Vannek quickly before returning to the two rocking eggs--one of which he'd had very much enjoyed meeting. "I couldn't even begin to say. I've heard bronze is good luck." He offered a brief smile to take any unfriendliness out of his words. "Are you hoping for a particular color?"
Hunthyex had heard plenty of big talk about people saying what they'd do if approached by a white or green. Please. As though they'd turn their nose up if a dragon bothered to look their way.
Oranie - She/Her
"A few." She didn't mind admitting, flashing Juhvek a smile. There had been many eggs that seemed thrilled for the attention, and she'd been equally thrilled to give it to them. She didn't know if that really counted as a meaningful connection, however. She would glance to her sister curiously. Maybe Elibrie had found one egg she'd fallen for...?
Miomellai - She/Her
Miomellai snorted at that, her eyes locked onto the two eggs beginning to wobble and stir. "No." She could have left it at that, just to spite him... but relented enough to keep going. "It won't matter. If it's meant to be, then it'll be perfect."
She did finally glance to him, challenging him with a stare. "You?"
Jihiro - He/Him
"Yeah, I remember you hanging out with that one..." He murmured, his tone a bit reverent as he watched the eggs twitch. "Maybe that's the one meant for you then." It would surprise Jihiro one bit, really.
A'zota
He'd been waiting to hear her voice, so he'd naturally buried the desire deep down while beginning to assist in the preparations for the incoming new Weyrlings. Hauling up buckets of meat, he paused to look at her, quietly taking her in. "Find a decent one." He commented after a moment, casual and indifferent if not for his focused, dark stare. "Never know how long they'll decide to take."
Ask her how she's been. Eriath chided, well aware of how her rider's mind worked.
There would be time for that later, though. Right now, he was busy, and she needed to go. Still, before he turned away, he found himself speaking again. "I'll find you at the Feast." And since he'd said it, that meant he had to do it.

Finnisa - HR - She/Her "That's fair enough. Sometimes they seem completely different when they hatch to when you meet them." Her eyes stayed fixed on Lisa Frank for the most part, although she glanced briefly around at the others wiggling. You never wanted to miss when one finally opened up, and not just because there was always a risk of accidents or bad tempers. "I'm sure sooner or later the right one will come by. And if not, well, it's not the end of the world, right?" Of course, she was pretty sure it would still feel like the end of the world, to age out. Some things, when you wanted them so very badly, hurt deeply when you didn't get them, or lost them. She wasn't going to sugarcoat that. "I'd like that, of course. I liked that egg a lot, and obviously anyone would love to have their own dragon come to them. But it'd be nice if we both could. We've been a bit in-rhythm so far... maybe the luck will hold for us both, and just... turn for the better?"
Zelaya - HR - She/Her/They/Them Zelaya listened silently to Nala and Lojze's discussion, the faintest of smiles hovering on her mouth. She'd hope for their dragons to be in this clutch, though it did seem silly to assume that the largest eggs would shell the largest dragons. Some lines ran in twins, after all, and others ended up more cramped, or with excess room. There was no real way to tell, and no matter what was shelled from where, she was sure they would be perfect just as they were. Blue Moon's tapping and chipping caught her attention a bit more than the rest—that one had been the first of this clutch that she'd touched, after all. It was taking its time though, which was also fine. "I'm sure that all of them will be wonderful, once they find theirs, of course," she added at length. "I'd be glad to be chosen by any of them. Who wouldn't?"

Zelaya - HR - She/Her/They/Them She immediately shook her head. "Then it wouldn't be your dragon, I don't think." Sure, a dragon could be disappointed in a rider, but now, at this age? At the moment of choice and impression? She couldn't fathom a dragon looking at their person and going oh, so this is what I have to have? It just couldn't happen. The dragon would choose someone else, or between, wouldn't it? It was just an impossibility in her mind. "I don't think you should worry about that. Your dragon, when it comes, will love you wholly for all that you are." She said it with the calm conviction of fact that she felt for all such dragon-related, Weyr-related things. It had been drummed into her from birth, and ran in her blood. Thread would fall. The sun would come up. A dragon would love its rider, and always pick the right person for them. That was simply how things were, and that surety was comforting.
