it would probably be in Dean's best interest if Rosario shut up. His voice grates on the champ's nerves and snaps him back into it. Drako swings his hips around and attempts to wrap his legs around Dean's head, aiming to force him down into a surprise head scissors hold to force his shoulders to the mat after freeing himself from the headlock

The legs of the champion wrapped around dean's head as his shoulders were on the mat and headlock was released.
"1.."
Dean would kick up, making sure his shoulders weren't both flat on the mat. He attempted to wiggle around again but as he did both of his shoulder once again laid flat on the mat.
"...1"
Dean let out a small grunt as he was forced in the position, keeping on shoulder up to avoid a pin fall.

Drako would attempt to keep the hold in, as it is in effect a submission hold. Time to make the challenger work for it again, or tap out, whichever one works. The champion keeps his gaze solely on the challenger, every now and then adding some pressure to his hold

The pressure around his neck felt more and more as the hold remained locked in. Every time he attempted to get out tendons and muscles felt stretched. This had to change.
Dean would attempt to put his arm under drakos leg and roll his body, putting himself into a front neck bridge to try and get a better grip on the champions legs. If succesful he would try to roll back over onto his back, putting pressure on the legs and hopefully having his head escape. The next course of action would be to roll backwards, bringing the legs with him and locking in a modified boston crab.

Drako had every intent on making Dean work for anything he got in this match tonight. Fair to say that had been successful, given the amount of work he had to put in here to escape the head scissors and slowly transition to flip their positions into a boston crab
Drako's legs haven't been truly damaged yet, but this hold certainly could do some. as such, he pushes himself up on his arms, then attempts to reach back and grab one of Dean's legs and pull just enough to get him off balance as he'd use his legs to attempt to kick him off

Dean flew forwards, letting go of the hold and now being removed from the series of chain wrestling that just occurred. The crowd rose as Dean would be flung towards the ropes, the momentum carrying him.

Drako is slowly realizing this might be a longer and more painful night at the office than he planned. Now free from the hold, he gets to his feet and stumbles, ending up leaning against the ropes

Drako recovers and goes after Dean, looking to meet him on the right with a kick to the gut that he would follow with a snap suplex

Dean grunted as his back hit the canvas from the snap suplex. He was away mentally and he paid for it. He leaned forward, sitting up, grabbing his back as the pain shot threw him.

Drako decides that it's about time to pick things up and live up to his nickname. The Soaring Dragon would look to springboard off the ropes and take Dean down again with a crossbody, which he'd follow with a pin attempt

Drako collided with Dean as he was getting up as both man spun backwards onto the canvas. But as Drako went to grab Dean for the pin attempt, Dean would try to roll with the momentum, flipping them over backwards and getting a sneaky pin attempt on to the champion himself. The crowd standing on their feet as the rolling proceeded.

Drako finds his pin attempt surprisingly reverse as Dean cleverly uses his own momentum against him.
one...two..t...
Drako kicks out and scrambles to his feet, looking to meet Dean on the rise with a quick european uppercut

Dean rose, as his chin was raised for him. The uppercut connecting and causing Dean to hit a spin, not unlike that of a trained ballerina. Around the world he spun as momentum was the theme. As Dean spun around he would try to bounce back with a messy clothesline straight for the throat of the reigning champerino.

it seems the technical is over, and it's time to fight. Drako had just clocked Dean but Dean didn't rest on his laurels, coming back with a vicious clothesline that knocks the champion to the mat the hard way

Dean, now standing over the champion, felt like now that power was being used he had to keep it coming, and maybe get a flex in by showing he had hops. Dean rose his arms up, taunting to the crowd as they awaited to see what was coming. Dean bent down and some fans recognized the move from previous matches as the young man jumped upwards and attempted to hit the champ with a jumping back senton.
“Give it to him!” Rosario screamed from the apron, smacking the canvas as the rookie was midway in the sky.
