[Nuke Fusion] vs Rex Kobra

[Undead Superstar]

Rex hesitated for a moment getting back to his feet. Going from the barricade to landing the German Suplex was making his back hate him. The earlier match of the night wasn't helping matters any either. The Crusade had been particularly bothersome. But he did manage to move and get to his feet and he would then aim to drag Nuke to his feet, to the ring, and then try to toss Nuke back into the ring under the bottom rope.  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

There wasn't much fight back from Nuke as he was dragged to his feet and gingerly into the ring under the bottom rope.

As he was rolled, the ref came to check on him and make sure that he was okay to continue.

Rex looked to Nuke in the ring and as the ref checked on him, he started barking orders at Ramona, telling her to get ready and pointing her to a spot under the ring. He patted her on the shoulder before sliding into the ring. As soon as he was in, he stalked toward Nuke and attempted to bring him to his feet. If he managed it, he would attempt to Irish Whip Nuke to the ropes and catch him with a spear on the rebound.  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Nuke thought he had gotten away from the action, at least for a moment. But then he found himself being dragged to his feet, forcefully, by his opponent.

Staggered on his feet, the next thing that he felt was Rex spearing him hard into the canvas, his world spinning completely.

Rex smirked and stood. He walked to the ropes and pointed behind him to the broken Nuke in the ring. "Look at your Redeemer. Broken and battered. All hail The Serpent, The Mighty Destroyer!" Rex marched around the ring continuing to gesture to everybody at the downed Redeemer. Rex would then move to Nuke and attempt to drag him to his feet again and try to latch a big meaty hand around Nuke's throat. "All hail!" Rex would shout before attempting to deliver a chokeslam.  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Nuke felt a big, meaty, hand around his throat. His vision was blurred slightly, but there was no mistaking that he wasn't in the best place right now, Rex was in full control.

That grip became tighter as Nuke was lifted up high in the air, ready to be slammed down..

But The Redeemer twisted his body, looking to aim a stiff elbow at Rex's head and get behind him!

Rex wasn't ready for any sort of fight. That allowed The Redeemer to catch him off guard and deliver an elbow to his head. The sudden shock of the blow caused him to let go of his foe and stagger forward.  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Rex staggered forward and Nuke dropped to his feet, as he stumbled and fell backwards into the ropes.

Mustering as much energy as he could gather, The Redeemer then ran at the far ropes, rebounding off them and looking to catch Rex with a Spear!

Rex turned with a glare, seeking to punish The Redeemer for slipping through his grasp but then Rex found himself caught with a spear and driven to the mat clutching his ribs.  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Nuke looked like he wanted to roll over and pin Rex in that moment, but he stopped himself short of hooking his leg. He did, however, start to get back to his feet.

The crowd were electric as The Redeemer began to get back up, and started to drag Rex up with him..

As soon as they were back on their feet, Nuke would raise his fist in the sky and call out..

"BULL! HAMMER!"

Nuke would aim for a nasty Bull Hammer elbow to Rex's temple!

Rex felt himself dragged to his feet. He was still in pain from the Spear. But as he got to his feet, Nuke raised a fist and called out his attack. As soon as he threw the Elbow, Rex ducked out of the way, just in time to avoid the collision with his skull. He would pop right back up and without an ounce of hesitation try yet again to deliver his Chokeslam.  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Nuke was convinced this was it, his WrestleMania moment, as he swung his elbow hard. But Rex ducked, switched up, and landed a devastating Chokeslam!!

With Nuke down again, Rex thought of going for the pin. No. Not yet. Nuke had to be destroyed. As the ref started to check on him, Rex looked to his sister and gestured to the apron. "Time to Defile the Redeemer." He wanted his iron. He was going to beat the daylights out of Nuke. He was going to beat him and then he was going to bomb him. That was the plan. Leave him bloody and broken. As the ref still made sure that Nuke was alright, Rex looked to the crowd.

Outside, Ramona obeyed as Rex told her to get the iron without using those words. She grabbed it but as she saw Nuke helpless on the mat, something in her wanted to rebel. He had shown her kindness. As had Grace before Rex made her abandon her. Rex had isolated her from everybody and was trying to do so from their own blood. Her little grand-niece Kyra.

Up on the apron, with the ref's back turned, as Rex came to get the tire iron, Ramona suddenly struck, bashing her won brother between the eyes with his own tire iron, causing him to stagger back and fall to the mat. Ramona hopped down afterward and stashed the tire iron where it was before moving to the barricade so as the ref saw the downed Rex and then her, there was no evidence she had done a thing. Two cultists rose in the crowd near her, chanting and trying to will Rex back to life. Ramon's response was to quickly turn and lay out out with a right hand to make sure that Rex only had one flicker of possible power.  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Nuke was down, but not quite out. His eyes opened to see Ramona strike Rex, and he knew he has to act.

Every fibre of his being was screaming at him as he turned his body and began to get up, with the ref still making sure he was okay.

The Redeemer moved as quickly as he could, looking to kick Rex in the gut and hit him with the Fusion Cutter!

Rex moved slowly, the single cultist bringing him up slowly with his chanting. Rex managed to stand only to catch a boot to the gut and then be laid out by the Fusion Cutter.

As Rex was left laid out, Ramona turned and laid out the other cultist. Rex had no more back up ready. He was alone in the ring, unable to move and barely able to think through the pain and the cobwebs.
