- Zaid's older brother, Jelani, is supposedly killed during his rite of passage. Zaid is named heir to his father's legacy.
- Zaid grows into a young stallion.
- Zaid succeeds in his rite of passage.
- Jelani returns and drives off the herd leader and his mate, rampaging through the herd. The herd was scattered.
- Zaid and Cae took to the wild, fearful of Jelani's pursuit.
- Zaid and Cae name themselves life mates.
- Cae becomes pregnant.
- Three healthy foals are born! Two girls and one boy.
