The cover of Eclipse?

ok well i emailed twilight lexicon and they have emailed me back saying that Eclipse wont look like the picture in the link i have found from dA(in above post) and it WONT have an Eclipse on it either. so yeah. biggrin

OMG! OMG! I want it to be like two wedding rings seeing that Edward proposed to Bella in New Moon. I'm so excited for it to come out does anyone know when it comes out in AZ?

I made a few covers in the past.
Not that they're good.
And they're high on symbolism 3nodding



These hands represent Bella and Edward holding onto each other, despite the obsticals they're faced with.


And then there's my original idea. Where the hands are Jacob and Bella's. I wanted to have a bite mark on Bella's wrist and have a drop of blood dripping down. But alas, I am far too lazy to do that much work ;P



The grasping hands represent Bella's struggle to keep Jacob's friendship in her life. And the bite mark would of course, represent her choice to be with Edward [if there WAS a bite mark]
But alot of people didn't like this one because it seemed as though Edward were forcing Bella away from Jacob. Or that Bella chooses Jacob over Edward.
Whatever.
Everyone has their opinions and I love to hear the different opinions people have when they look at my work[lol my work, like its some job of mine XD]
The symbolism of the eclipse is clear enough that I wont explain it cuz im too tired.

I have NO idea, but it's most likely, what ever it is, is going to be RED. It's like a pattern for the covers... Apple, flower... they were both living before too so theres a pattern for that...

i thought that Twilight's cover with the apple was supposed to be with temptation or basically what someone said Stephenie Meyer said before

and i just looked up the meaning of tulip in the language of flowers- a red tulip means a declaration of love....
she does have epiphany (i love that part) but the'ver already declared their love before that so... hm....

i think it'd be cool to have the rings but there's nothing to be red....
maybe it'll be something brand new to the book so we can't really guess until the first chapter comes out

But then again, look at the past covers ~ they have nothing to do with the names whatsoever xp

Well, the way I think of it is:
Twilight: Like Sleeping Beauty? (I've never really watched those princess move things... or maybe it was snow white with the apple? sweatdrop ) Edward is her prince who "saves" her by loving her? [Haha cheesey cheese_whine ]...From dying alone? I dunno.... sweatdrop
New Moon: I DON'T KNOW!!! It looked like a bloody flower.... BLOODY....
So maybe it was a flower in the field and from Jacob/Edward fighting, it got bloody? sweatdrop

The rings would be interesting, but incorporating red into the cover would be much more difficult if you did that unless the rings are unconventional, which is entirely possible given the situation, but I kind of picture Edward as a very classic type person and I could see him giving a classic diamond rather than something unconventional like a ruby, which would be one of the only ways to tie in the red.

I still don't think the cover is going to be very important, though. Stephenie said that she was extremely lucky to have gotten a say on the first one, which is the only one with any direct meaning. She doesn't have a clue why the tulip was picked for the second cover.
