*BlackMN watched the bunker's exit anxiously waiting for GL to return somehow, but instead they brought in a couple more soldiers and Rosemary and Veni. Sephiroth followed them in shortly after carring Rosemary's weapons and Veni's bow, Veni still had his sword on his belt since the mage didn't disarm him, that he had managed to find admist all the chaos. Veni looked like a sacrifice to some heathen god to her...and Rosemary... she didn't really get a good look since the medics were onto these new arrivals instantly.*
*They were extra careful with Veni though since if they did something wrong he'd probably bite the dust... she could actually see his heart beat... 'If they had to bring those two in here, then things really must be bad outside,' she thought to herself.*
*Once the blades were removed, Veni was set on his back on one of the cots. Some anti-venom was given to him and once the burning snesation was gone, his body started to recover rapidly.*
*They wern't having as much luck with Rosemary however... the anti-venom removed what was in her system from Yaotli's blades, but it didn't help with the other venom he put into her. Her own system neutralized part of it and she no longer had the stabbing sensation and was no longer paralized. She seemed to rest more comfortably with the lack of major pain, but her wounds were healing at a human's pace and she was still asleep.*
*When the medic left Rosemary's bed unable to do anything else for her, BlackMN went on over to see her. She was fine, nothing serious exept... she moved her finger over Rosemary's left eye without touching it... she looked like one of them...What happened to you?...she wondered. She still looked pretty to her somehow despite the fact that her face was deformed or maybe it was that majesty that vampires seem to naturally have that can help influence a persion into thinking that they are lovely. Whichever the reason, it didn't matter much to her, but she was saddened by the way she looked all the same. What would happen if Rosemary became a niearcim mage?*
*Rosemary rolled over onto her right side and sighed in her sleep. BlackMN looked at her curiously. Normally when Rosemary slept she was as stiff as a board and didn't breath, but here she was moving and breathing just like she did. Is this what it's like if she could normally sleep at night instead of mostly being forced to during the day? She looked over at Veni's bed.*
*Veni already almost looked exactly like he normally did. He was smiling in his rest, except it wasn't his normal pleasant smile. His body's energy had been extremely depleted, he got hit by holy magic, and he had lost a lot of blood. The bloodlust was taking control of his better judgement and his senses. Normally he has a nice grip on it and it usually stayed subdued because the demon knew that it couldn't expect to survive long if it ran around draining people all the time without any thought and his seemed easily satisfied unlike Rosemary's. Now it was very thirsty and unless something is made availabe right away he'll wake up before they inject anything into him, hide in the shadows, become someone who seems weakest and less armed shadow, and attack them before they know that he's there. (Remember he's supposed to be very fast even for a vampire, like Rosemary is strong, and when they're not in control they are all the more dangerous.)*

Inazuma Sky Inazuma had just managed to scramble to a standing position by the time that her sword got to her. It was then that she noticed the mage doing something that roughly reminded her of a boy squeezing horribly disfigured frog.
She reached out and caught her sword with one hand, and used her other to form a pinpoint electrical barrier to great the incoming acid. As it evaporated she realized that her arm was no longer broken, incredibly weak, but not broken.
She threw aside her slight victory in hopes to be celebrated later and threw her weight forward to get enough momentum to slice off the mage's hand with her sword before he could squeeze the creature again.
*Cipactli grunted in pain as his hand went flying to the ground a few feet away. When he realized it was the hand with the strange bio weapon, his expression was one of shock and.... fear? He immediately stopped fighting Inazuma, and began to run.*
*Now, Inazuma's fought things before that would keep going, even after missing most of their bodily mass. This particular mage had his neck broken, and still hadn't given up. The thundering footsteps of the hunger demon going away from the scene probably didn't make the lightning angel feel much better. The strange frog-ish weapon... it was making an odd growling noise, and starting to swell. It soon broke free of the severed hand that was clutching it, simply growing so large that it broke through flesh and bone. Comically it was swelling up now, the size of a basketball, and still going. She could see the skin was stretching, ripping... highly acidic fluid dripping out of it's pores.*
*Moments later, the thing exploded, sounding like an over-inflated balloon bursting. Acid sprayed EVERYWHERE, leaving a massive puddle at the area of explosion, and splattering great globs of the stuff in all directions.*
*Attempting to take advantage of what he hoped was a good distraction, Cipactli made the hunger demon attempt to grab her with it's tendrils again, and devour her... while he rushed her head on* |

Medic: He's looking better... Tranq him, just in case, and get one of those blood bags in here pronto.
*Within seconds, a soldier ran in holding a strange.... creature, if it could be called that. It was basically a round-ish sac of flesh membrane, with a basic circulatory system inside, and full of blood. The thing pulsed every so slightly, as it was placed over Veni's mouth and carefully strapped there. A similar thing was placed over Rosemary's mouth. A small, metallic canisiter was then brought in. The medic immediately set to hooking it up to Rosemary with a number of tubs. Once it was all set up, the device was activated. Rosemary's blood was pumped out of her system, through the device, and then back in.. it was carefully filtering out toxins through technological and magical means, attempting to further remove any venoms and purify her blood.*
*During all this, Esme crawled up the bed, skittered over Black's body, and rested on Rosemary's stomach, where he promptly fell asleep. Ji'mosli was nearby as well, making sure to keep an eye on the kitsunes.*
*A little while later, any personal belongings of Trab and Krel were brought in... the remains of their yir suits, standard earth-military dogtags that belonged to Trab, and other trinkets. Other wounded were being brought in as well...*

*Dieamos gripped his shoulder in pain... several blasts of an REB cannon managed to puncture a hole finally in the massive demon. How many was he forced to kill so far? How much more damage could that barrier take? He had no choice... His friends would suffer.... and Hi would simply remove his free will, and turn him into a massive demonic killing machine. Mindless. His soul trapped inside, but not in control. Dieamos tried to push aside this thoughts, and continued attacking the barrier.*

*Veni bit into the creature at his mouth and suckled on the thing. He opened his eyes and sat up and removed it. It was still barely alive. He was both disgusted at the membrane of blood and intrigued by it. He licked his lips... he was and looked embarassed for biting into it without being able to think straight. That hasn't happened for centuries, but at least he had something available to him instead of going on a rampage. The youth looked towards Rosemary's cot...she was still asleep...and then at a medic.* May I get up? *When he was cleared he hopped out of bed and then suddenly gripped the edge of the bed. He waved it off with a hand to the person who came at him.* I moved too quickly is all. I have a splitting headache. *He smiled at the bad pun and pulled up a stool to the side of Rosemary's cot that didn't have the machine... He lifted up her bangs and looked at her face. His eyes moved down the rest of her....Almost all minor cuts, yet they aren't healing very well... He rested his hand on top of hers.*
*When the machine had filtered it all, Rosemary opened her eyes. She had failed to bite the thing 'cause she was conscious enough to think it was someone who had their hand in front of her...and she wasn't exactly sure where she was at first; if she was still at the base, if something was trying to trick her into biting it at an unknown place, since she didn't know the result of Trab shooting the niearcim. It was tempting though, although a part of her was let down that it was so easy a prey. She removed the thing and looked at it... Vhat iz zis?...she thought to herself.*
*It was at this point she realized that her perspective was a bit off and that she was seeing a bit much of the right side of her nose and not the left side of it. She closed her right eye and ran her hand over her left one and then traced the mark with her fingers. She noticed BlackMN was looking at her, so she invaded and got a glimpse of what she looked like through the child's eyes. She covered it for a moment with her hand and sighed. Her hand moved to her throat when she tried to say,* I thought as much, *but no words came out. She still had that wound there inside and couldn't speak.*
*She twisted her head to see Veni because he was in her blind spot. She smiled at him, momentarily forgetting about her other worries, and lifted her left hand towards him. She didn't move her right arm because the machine was attached to it. He got up and bent over the bed. Her fingers moved along the side of his face, over his ear, and through his hair. He held her hand in place over his face and kissed it. She was so happy to see him there, standing over her, able to move, and not dead, that she felt as if she could cry. Still feeling weak from whatever the mage did with the fog, she removed her hand and set it back on the bed, looking at him for a little while longer. Her gaze then moved to the creature she had set on her chest. It felt so warm there.* Vhat iz zis? *She asked him indicating at the blood creature.*
*He didn't know what it was either...* What are these?
*BlackMN left Rosemary and went and sat next to Shy who was still on the cot she had slept on. She leaned on him as her tails played around with his.*

*One of the more heavily wounded soldiers in a cot next to her answered. She was missing both her legs... it seemed that supplies were beginning to run out, healing potions being saved for more severely fatal cases.*
Soldier: They're blood bags... You two must need fresh blood to survive, so I suggest feeding on them. *The soldier picked up one of her own as she detached her helmet. The soldier had a light green skin, nearly white in complexion, with no eyes... she only seemed to have a mouth filled with small, sharp, triangular teeth. She bit into the strange looking blood bag, causing it to shrink as she drained it of it's life fluids* No souls or nerves, so you're not hurting anything when you feed. Doesn't exactly give you the thrill of the hunt, but it's better than starving...
Medic: Alright, you should be feeling better now... *Rosemary felt a slight sting as the tubes to the filtering machine were removed, and small bandages were put in their place.*

*The demons that had arrived with Inazuma were now busy holding their own in the forest. Zirus, the imp demon, was currently avoiding the artic blasts of an ice slug, while his other friends attempted to pummel it into submission. Truunth (the serpent demon), dived down from his position in the air, sinking claws and teeth into the back of the creature, and ripping off some of it's flesh. The slug screeched and tried to bite at Trunnth, until Zirus slammed a fireball the size of a bowling ball into it's mouth. Enraged and wounded, the slug demon turned it's attention back to the imp.*
Zirus: We can't keep this up forever! Hurry up, Crux!
*Crux (the chain ghoul), uttered a swear and crushed several of the fast moving zombies with his metallic claw-hand. THe things were surrounding him, trying to tear him apart. Growing frustrated, his chains lashed out, and swirled around him, effectively making him a giant buzzsaw... undead remains flew everywhere as Crux took to the air, his chained hooks and spikes dangling over his head like scorpion tails.*
Zirus: DO IT NOW!
*Zirus unleashed a powerful stream of fire towards the front of the ice demon, causing it to screech as it tried to turn away. The last demon of the quartet, Kwurmtis (the spike demon) breathed his own flames at the rear of the disgusting slug. Trapped as it caught fire, the ice slug tried to burrow underground. Crux's chains rained down on it from above, digging into the earth, and impaling it from beneath it's underbelly. The chain ghoul dragged it back out onto the surface, and the four demons finally manage to tear it apart.* |

GL: DAMN YOU! YOU b*****d! YOU SCREWED WITH MY HEAD!
*Hi was growing tired of the reaper's curses. Once he was properly tied up and bound, with small creatures to continually sap his strength, the illusion of his mother and being in his childhood again completely vanished.*
GL: I'll KILL YOU! HOW DARE YOU USE HER IMAGE LIKE THAT!
*A savage backhand left GL bleeding fiercely, his liquid energy spilling from the deep gashes on his face*
Hi: Your upset that I used that vision of her? That in some way, it would violate your remaining memories of her? Would it upset you more to know that she was... violated herself?
*GL wish he was human just so he could simply spit on this monsters face. He settled for the next best thing though, whipping his head so strands of his own blood splattered against the satan's face. Hi snarled as he wiped GL's life blood off.*
GL: You filthy liar...
HI: Hah! Come on, Galantros, face facts! She was a succubus! You knew that! I bet she "loved" more people than just your father...
*Hi simply smirked as the young reaper howled in rage... even if GL wanted to turn to his demon form now, he couldn't. This was the closest GL had ever felt to pure, unbridled hatred. Worse still, false images, memories started to flood his mind. Graphic displays that GL desperately tried to shake out of his head. God help him, if he ever had the chance, he would absolutely slaughter Hi, and take his sweet time doing it to make sure each and every second felt like an eternity of pain.*
Hi: I'm finished toying with your friends, boy. Dieamos has weakened the barrier enough, so he no longer has any purpose.
*This entire time, Hi had been at work marking the ground with strange runes and writing... His own blood, along with the blood of countless innocents were pooled ever so carefully in small cups placed on the ground, and his precious dagger impaled the earth at the center of all the symbols.
Hi: Let's finish this, so I can destroy the niearcim here and gather up those angels I need.

*Dieamos suddenly stopped attacking, the hell chain appearing around his neck once more. He was slammed violently to the ground, face first.*
Dieamos: Hi.... Master... what is this? I haven't finished... No... NO, YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO THEM! YOU SAID YOU WOULDN'T HARM THEM ANYMORE! DAMN YOU!
*And Dieamos was forced to watch, unable to move, as the ground split open in front of him, revealing the fiery pits of hell. The black shadows of hell souls poured forth like a flood, consuming any smaller demons they could find... Hell-born or otherwise. Flesh torn from bone, bone shattered to bits... Once enough had been sacraficed, an enormous six headed serpent-like beast rose from the hell pit. Eyes dottered their long necks, and their heads were massive mouths full of grotesque tendrils. The most horrible, high pitch squeal emitted from the mouths of the beast. A brillant green flame formed at each of it's mouths, before streams of the stuff burned against the forest barrier. The onslaught was far more powerful than Dieamos' blows, and may even possibly be enough to shatter the defensive barrier in one or two strikes.*
*Dieamos swore inside his head... Hi was simply going to slay him.. the other demons would suffer greater punishments, no matter what. He tried to tear off the chains around his neck with his bare claws, but only succeeded in burning his flesh off*
Zirus: Oh that son of a b***h... Bunker! Get in the bunker, now! s**t!
*The metal walls blew apart from the demon's blast, the soldier's energy sheilding around the forest also failing. This only left the vunerable inner barriers of the forest... Soldiers kept firing at thing that seemed almost as large as Dieamos.*
Zirus: Stop standing there you idiots, get inside, now! That things going to break through any second now! MOVE! *The imp demon started shoving soldiers towards the building that was the most heavily protected so far. It would only buy them a small amount of time.*
Dieamos: Leave them be!
*The serpent creature stared at Dieamos, before striking with it's heads like some sort of mutant cobra. The larger demon screamed in pain as his wings were viciously torn off his body. Satisfied with the wounds it had caused, it prepared a second blast of abnormal fire to destroy the final defensive barriers.*
*The results were like smashing an eggshell with a sledgehammer. The last of the soldiers were running towards the bunker as the massive thing slithered into the base, tearing apart the automatic defensive turrets and such that the soldiers had setup.*
*Inside the bunker, things were becoming crowded fast. A group of the soldiers were setting up a final energy shield with the last bits of equipment. Others were slamming the last of their ammo clips into their weapons...*
Medic: Well, s**t. This isn't looking good....
*The screech of the demon was getting closer. Some of the automated defenses were really slowing it down for the time being, but it was eventual before it broke through...*

Coatli:... This won't do at all. They need her alive. Hmph. Damn that idiot... Take care of it.
*A massive hoarde of demons rushed out of the dead forest then, attacking everything in sight... the automatic defenses and the massive hell-demon mostly. Meanwhile, Coatli casually walked through the chaos right up to the bunker's door. He brought up a shield just in time to avoid being pummeled to death by a massive amount of ammunition from the soldiers. At this time, Rosemary felt a horrible presence tearing into her mind, ripping out random bits of information.*
Coatli: ROSEMARY MORI! I know you can hear me! Do you want your precious friends to survive? Then surrender! surrender yourself and them unto me!
*The six headed serpent screeched as it threw off several worm goblins, tearing them apart*
Coatli: Think about it... Which is worse? If you refuse, Hi will tear you all apart, and he will have your very souls! You will all suffer greatly in Hell! Or.. you could join us, become Jiluzix's children... He'll protect you, take care of you. Much better than Hi will of course... ...Consider your options, Mrs. Mori. I know you'll make the right choice...
*The unholy mage then simply walked away, letting his hoards of demons do battle with the serpent creature.*
