He began to shiver slightly. It hurt to breathe. His body temp was still low despite having the outer ice melted. Even with all the help it still took a large amount of energy to regain normality. He looked around. Everyone seemed to be moving slower than they normally did in his vision. The beast smacked Rosemary away and she cushioned herself with the air so she wouldn't fly as fast.
He moved sluggishly. The imps were alright at least. His gaze jerked to the way they came. He stood and steadied himself, lifted his weapon, and sent slices through the air.... they went past the golem and into the tunnel that they had come from. The sound of rocks falling could be heard. He gathered the imps and quickly took them away from that entrance as the whoosh of dust came in.

On the other side of the wall and dust Alpha frowned. He had almost completed his thread trap before the spell was interrupted. He stepped aside for Mindy's Adur who began to burn away at the fallen rock. A line of hellfire entered the room where the heroes are in the direction in which they came.

The golem finally grabbed ahold of Jacob, and slammed him to the ground. Sensing the hellfire nearby, it rushed over, steamrolling anybody nearby and literally punched the rest of the rock covering the entrance out of the way.
Xun immediately stepped in along with Alpha and Adur, and started casting a spell which the golem seemed highly receptive to. The dead creatures in the golem's "flesh" writhed a bit, blood seeping from small cracks in the thing's icy body.
Xun: "You know my will. Attack."
Jacob frowned... the magical enchantment points binding the golem together had seemingly multiplied and strengthened. The missing parts of the golem also grew back.
Jacob: "....s**t."
At least this time, the golem seemed to be using less lethal attacks... but it was also attacking a bit more intelligently. It's fists pounded the ground, sending waves of literally freezing ice water towards the group. Milaku was caught amongst them, and found herself magically frozen.

Alpha literally lassoed Milaku and began to pull her towards them.

Large hailstones began to appear and pummle the mages.

Adur brought up a layer of hellfire above them.
Rosemary aimed her shots at the rope like thing the hunter mage was pulling on. I think we need to figure out a way to run over fighting back....

Xun took the brunt of the force of the hailstones, allowing it to pummel him as he shielded himself and as much of his allies as he could with his arms and back. He still winced in pain though as they broke and bruised his flesh, but not once did he cry out. This, along with the hellfire pretty much negated the hailstones.
Jacob got up from where he had been pounded into the ground, and barely dodged a series of spikes meant to impale his limbs.
I couldn't agree more, Rosemary. We need to get the hell out of here.
The thread that held Milaku snapped thanks to Rosemary's pinpoint accuracy with her firearms, With some help transporting quickly from the lightning imps, they managed to collect Thas and Milaku. As they started to flee, trying to be careful not to touch the freezing ores in the stones, Xun tried to give Sephiroth a parting gift... a blast of black, purplish energy magic, meant to sicken, and possibly blow off a limb or two. It speed towards him, striking a wing.

Sephiroth blocked with a wing unable to dodge it. It went splat, however the feathers slowly stopped their fall and all flew at the mages like thousands of little knives.
Sephiroth was left shaking from all the punishment he received in a matter of minutes and swayed and stumbled as he continued to move away.

Rosemary reached for Sephiroth and pulled on his cloak.
"Not this time," said Adur as a barrier of "holy" fire rose from the ground between Sephiroth and her and his way to the exit.
Rosemary jerked her arm back suddenly and instead of Sephiroth had Fa'Jenul with most of his equipment. The flames started to move towards her down the hall and she ran away from it. They didn't go far for Azul ducked behind a huge ice bolder to protect itself from the flying feathers.
Though the fire between Sephiroth and the exit remained during and once the feathers had actually vanished after striking, Mindy didn't force the flames to go much further. She started concentrating on something else; a more important matter. She and Adur idly etched on the ground with a finger. Sephiroth felt a strange aura come off the creature and then such a sudden weakness in the knees that he fell to them.

Fal'Jenul wanted to yell out to her son, but quickly suppressed that urge and did something far more important. She left a small part of her essence with him, unseen to anyone else. It would be hard to detect, and would allow them to more easily find him.
...And also, allow him a small amount of motherly comfort for whatever may lie ahead for him.
Xun had taken a good amount of the holy feathers into his body, and felt a bit stunned, stumbling a bit. His wounds were gradually sealing up, but not as quickly as they should due to the holy aspect. Still, his armor protected him from the inside a great deal.
Xun: "We've got one of them. Excellent. We should imprison this one as quickly as possible, before continuing on.,,,"
He then grinned, looking up at the golem he now essentially controlled.
"I am also very thankful for Lord Jiluzix providing for me in combat. Praise be to him. This ice creature shall serve us well..."

"And daddy even had the creature weaken him initially to help us. That's the one that he wanted the most!" Adur actually did a little girl's pleased twirl. She had already put him to sleep. "Oh but he's bleeding so... I wonder if he'll die from that..." the wound began to seal up enough to at least stop the bleeding.
After the wound was slightly healed Adur went a little slack. A portal opened and Mindy herself appeared from it and walked in on her stubs. She smelled his blood a lot better then she did with Adur and yup he smelt like he was related... maybe Jiluzix had spoken figure of speech like. She had Sephiroth roll over and she touched his face as she 'looked' at him. "He's such a fine creature! Should I take him straight to Lord Jiluzix since he was most eager seeming for him or hold onto him until we get the rest?"

Xun nodded.
"That seems a sound idea, but first allow me to do something about his unholiness. It would not do to offend our lord with such a thing surrounding this being...."
That said, Xun stretched his undead mouth open wider than should have been physically possible and reached in with a hand. Out came a squealing, squirming maggot, with many eyes and mouths, writhing tendrils and oozing puss pinched between his thumb and forefinger.
"Alpha, hold open his mouth and help me to induce this creature's swallowing...."
The maggot seemed to move more in excitement at finding a warm bodied host, small little claws and quills protruding from it's body as it crawled down Sephiroth's throat. It caused the most unpleasant sensations and feelings in him as it travelled into his guts, as he suddenly felt corrupted and violated, his wing twitching violently, the grey's and whites of it turning black, as feathers molted...
"The cleansing grub shall do it's work in a matter of minutes."

Sephiroth's hand went for his throat, which Mindy allowed him to do since that's all he was doing, and he naturally tried to cough it up from the choking sensation. He felt forsaken above corrupted and violated since he could no longer feel that holy spirit spark in him that he had grown accustomed to over the years. It hurt his heart a little. His head rolled to the side as his breathing returned to normal. However he knew he wasn't abandoned and that all would be well eventually. He just had to have faith in that. There probably was something he was supposed to do that he wasn't quite clear on.

Mindy had Adur pick up Sephiroth's weapon only to have it vanish in its hands. The person that carried Mindy around the other day came through the portal and picked Sephiroth up. It wasn't that Mindy wasn't strong enough to do it herself, she just wasn't big enough to carry him without dragging him and she didn't want to waste needed energy forcing him to walk since she knew he was out of it for that. Besides this way he'd be in the most presentable of conditions.

Sephiroth looked at his captors half lidded as he was carried away and then his attention turned to his remaining full wing once he was through the portal. The feathers looked black as they used to but different at the same time. He didn't feel the strength to keep it from dragging either and for some reason he couldn't get it to retract and hide again. He wondered if it was even functional anymore in its current state. He didn't even feel like he had the strength to prop himself or move much.
His gaze shifted to Mindy... who grinned at him in a more creepy fashion than wicked. She was very pleased that they had captured him after her earlier semi failure. She wasn't about to let him have the energy to move much and get away.
She was leading him to a place he didn't want to be......
