Bast slowed her pace as she and her entourage approached the gates to Takumi. The gates were large concrete-and-steel structures, nowhere near as imposing as the sheer rock walls outside the Sand but nonetheless very secure in their own right. After a brief chat with the guards, she would lead the youths inside before turning to face them.
"Alright, rendezvous here in... let's say three hours. That should be enough time to order everything I need. In the meantime, feel free to take in the sights, spend some cash if you have it. In fact, here, I'll give you each 500 Ryou for spending on equipment." The woman summoned her coin purse and offered 500 Ryou to each of her students. "That's all for now. Remember, meet back here in three hours."

__ Once Tetsuhiko arrived to the front gates within the colossal king he stopped behind Bastet. He watched as she conversed with the gate guards. It seemed as though his sensei knew everybody. Once she turned to face him and Damien he focused his attention on her words. She told them the agenda for the visit to Takumi and he understood, it seemed like the obvious sort of schedule. Suddenly, when she handed him the five hundred ryo his eyes lit up as Caesar's large hand grasped the cash and accepted it. The puppet then slid the cash through its mouth and into Tetsuhiko's hands. He smiled ear to ear as he counted the cash in his hands and placed it securely in his coat. "Thank you so much, Bast-sensei!" He said with excitement.
Caesar's head turned to Damien as the money was given to him as well. "I need a lot of cash in order to buy projectiles for my puppets. Kunai and senbon can get quite expensive when trying to fill a puppet's launchers." Tetsuhiko trailed off as he made the statement. The words left the puppet's mouth with a metallic and gruff version of Tetsuhiko's own voice. "I'm certain I need the money more than you do, what do you say you loan it to me and I'll pay you back after I finish a few missions later?" Tetsuhiko asked as the intimidating puppet expended its massive right hand for Damien to place the cash. "Or...we could spar. If you win you get my five hundred and if I win I get yours. However, we both know that I'll win so perhaps loaning the money to me would be a better idea for you." Tetsuhiko was intimidating, nothing was going to stop him from getting the money he needed for his beautiful art.

"Don't start a fight out here," Bast chastised Tetsuhiko, stepping between him and Damien. "I'll give you both a thousand and you can pay me back the extra 500 later. The last thing we want is to get the Sand on bad terms with the craftsmen."
She handed them both an extra 500 Ryou and then headed off into the village, muttering under her breath. What started as a stream of breathed complaints about the kids these days turned into a recitation of items, presumably her shopping list.

__ Tetsuhiko manipulated the marionette to bow before his sensei before he accepted the money and Caesar "ate" it for Tetsuhiko's access. "Thank you for your generosity, Bast-sensei. My apologies for being...overzealous. I'll see you both in three hours." Caesar then walked away with Tetsuhiko inside, leaving the scene and parting ways without a fuss.

__ The puppeteer approached the gates once more and looked up at the guards. This time he was not inside of his puppet so he looked up at the guards and revealed his forehead protector. After that, they silently waved him through and he nodded before continuing.

"Oi, you got your shopping done?" Bast called over to Tetsuhiko as she sauntered back to the gates. "If so, let's head on back. Don't want to stick around here for longer than we have to."

__ As Bast sauntered over through the gates Tetsuhiko, too, sauntered. When she called out to him he gave a thumbs up to indicate that he was ready to go. He ran behind her in order to catch up and left the area with Sunagakure back in his sights.

Atsuko wasn't looking forward to this part of the job but it was necessary. He made a mental note of it at least, he'd repay for his early sins once he was stronger. As he got closer to the gates from within the city he moved to a nearby ally way and would make a total of 9 other clones of himself. After this he'd walk out and towards the gate in his mass of clones, like a gang of sorts.
Once there before the guards had a chance to react one of the clones would shout "Take your trash back you lazy slags!". A barrage of garbage, some imaginary and some real, would pelt the area shortly after. Of course only Atsuko's real bag of trash was of any use but it was enough to piss off the management that was for sure.
Only once his bag was empty did Atsuko start to high tail, and in good timing. The guards, not one to sit around when some punk nose kid insults them, were hot on his 'groups' trail. The clones that were close by distracted them in different ways. Some ran off in different directions well others ran straight to the guards in a stand off manner.
Of course this distraction only lasted for moments. Any clones that were caught dissipated instantly when touched and once out of range the others vanished. That just left Atsuko himself for the rest of the chase. With at least two other guards still on his tail he had to get creative.
Using his tree climbing technique Atsuko would sprint up the side of a wall onto the roof tops and sprint in the direction that was far from the guards. From roof top to roof top he went, only managing to jump to ones that were close by. Of course this meant his route was unfortunately limited, even the guards knew that as they kept pace from the streets below.
Eventually Atsuko reached a dead end, on a lower building to make things even worse. The guards climbed up the ladder and would go to apprehend him, weapons at the ready in case he attempted to escape. However the moment his wrists were grabbed the Atsuko standing before them would poof into smoke, a bag of garbage being all that was left as his substitution was broken.
Far away from the chase sight the real Atsuko pulled off his hood and his face cover down as he merged with the crowd easily. Well he did feel bad for messing the place up at least he had cleaned the river of the mess. For now he had one more job to do....one he really wouldn't enjoy. Perhaps he'd make a donation to the shop down the line and a apology when he could afford it.

As Houou reached the the gates of Takumi, the crowd was far less dense. Placing his mind at ease, he knew that he could see an enemy coming from a mile away. This was his first mission and all he could do was think of the merchants safety, he would not fail this generous man. (3) [EXIT]

Houou came speeding down the road towards the Takumi gates. The guards took notice of his haste and moved to block the gates. Houou came to an abrupt stop and explained the situation to the guards. He wasn't sure if he sounded convincing but to his surprise they seemed to believe him. They too the merchant into their custody and escorted him an the Mule to the closest hospital. Houou stood there at the village gates in disbelief, wondering what his next move would be. "What a crazy day" he muttered to himself, as he remained unmoved.

As the merchant was carried off, he gave Houou a covert thumbs-up. A small crowd formed and dispersed over the course of a couple minutes, stirring around the lad carelessly. It seemed his term of employment with the man was over, his missions complete.

Houou and taka made their way through the front gates, prepared for the long journey ahead. Houou had made sure take knee to stay close and be prepared to follow his every command while on this journey. Soon taka would be safe in the city of Kirigakure and Houou would be one step closer to achieving his goal.
Atsuko kept his hands in his pockets firmly, one of them clasping the handle of a kunai, as they rode through the gates on the bumpy road. His stomach already felt rebellious and the journey had only just started.
Well the other three guards chatted it up with the merchant Atsuko kept his eyes on the perimeter, with Asumo taking up his own position inside of his masters hood. The small lizard seemed nervous but it was to be expected. Atsuko knew none of these people and was headed in a completely unknown direction so it wasn't like this was a normal day.
In the pit of his stomach though he had a bad feeling. He hadn't had a sensation like this since he left the village.
