((Not....really...? Should I recognize them? o.o;; Unless that's like, adult!Kai and Larai or something, in which case holy crap. 0_o))

"Come on, they've got pills and protection for that sort of thing." Daemon said with a sly smirk. "Or are you just nervous because you've never done it before?" he said leaning down closer to her. "I bet that's it, am i right?"

{I was thinking that pretty much could be them as adults. XD}

"I know I don't have any on me, and seeing how you just escaped from a prison, I can't help but doubt that you have any either." Larai pointed out. "You're not my husband, not that I would ever want one, so my past love life is none of your concern."

"Or maybe this is more of a case of 'bad luck with the guys and never want to try again'." Daemon said holding his chin in thought. "Sex or not, it sounds like you could use someone to show you a good time."

Larai flinched slightly after hearing that, Daemon's seccond guess having hit it right on the mark. "As I said, I'm not looking for a one-night-stand. I'm sure you're not looking to get stuck with some wanted kleptomaniac either."

Daemon couldn't help but laugh at that last part. "I just escaped from the dungeon of some hellspawn b***h, and helped a local thief rob her blind to boot. I'm probably just as wanted as you are, and that's to say nothing of my previous crimes of chaos."

Larai sighed softly. "Fine. Hypothetically, if I did agree to sleep with you, what would happen to me afterwards?" she asked.

"Well I'm certainly not going to kill you if that's what you're asking." Daemon said, honestly a little surprised by the question. "Who knows though? I'll probably decide to hang around, if only because it's such a shame to see a pretty face like yours keep so many sour expressions. I'd say that's something we need to work on."

((And I agree, that could totally be adult!Kai and Larai should we ever need them. xD ))

"I'll consider it, then." Larai said, laying herself down with her arms behind her head once more. "As for my being sour, I have plenty of reason to be."

{I thought that they were adults at this point. XD}

"Might I suggest trying to smile instead?" Daemon said with a cheery smile as he squatted down next to her mattress, sticking his fingers at the corners of her mouth and pulling them into a forced smile for her.

{Speaking of being tired, I'll prolly head off to bed soon.}

Larai couldn't help but somehow find this amusing. She chuckled and let herself smile, rolling over onto her side so she could face Daemon. "Not that I don't appreciate the concern, but why waste it on me?"

"Because I'm curious is all." Daemon said, sly smirk back on his face as he rested his chin in one hand with his elbow leaning on one knee. "I've got most girls fawning all over me by now; you're one of the first I've met that seems to be so strongly against having anything to do with me. It's almost like a challenge really."

((Same. *yawns*))

"I thought you said you hated working to have sex with a woman." Larai pointed out, keeping her smile still. "Now that's my point of intrigue? My you're indecisive."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"There's a difference between playing hard to get and showing no interest." Daemon countered before showing his sly smirk. "Even then, I am a demon. We're not exactly known for our straight thinking after all."

Larai raised an eyebrow slightly. "So if I showed any form of interest, would that mean my appeal would be lost?"

Daemon simply shrugged with a cheery smile.
