((Ohhh snap))
PostPosted: Mon Mar 12, 2012 12:37 pm

Running out of gas in the middle of the city was a pain. It was probably worse for cars though, as unlike Wayne they couldn't just stop for breath. How far had Wynaut run? He'd heard that the thing was hard to handle, but honestly...

"Where... are you...?" Wayne spluttered, doubled over with his hands on his knees. He sniffed up, standing tall and tried to settle his breath in the face of his heart pounding hard. The city was pretty busy, and he hated to think that Wynaut might've been splattered under a car. Something like that would probably cause a scene though, so he decided not to worry unless he saw a crowd gather.

"Hey, have you seen a Wynaut anywhere?" he asked a passerby, but they blanked him. City folk. "Hey! Has anyone seen a Wynaut come through here?"
"What's a Wynaut?" yelled some guy whose face Wayne didn't catch. Wayne frowned. How were people so out of touch with pokémon species?
"It's sorta blue, and it has like, a face, and a tail, and ears... it's really small and runs a lot."

Nobody was listening. Wayne felt himself heat up. He was just looking up and down the road when he spotted something that made his heart leap. A magnificent-looking pokémon slowly glided between buildings, flapping its kite-shaped wings gently. It had a long and slender body, green, with bulbs over its eyes that shimmered like glass.

"That Flygon..." He recognised it. But it couldn't be. Then again, why not?

His search for his aunt's pokémon was put on hold. He sprinted across the street when there was a lull in traffic and dodged between people. They didn't blank him this time, but Wayne's concentration deflected any insults flung his way.

The Flygon was heading towards the pokémon center. Luckily Wayne had made sure to memorised its precise location the night before. He wasn't going to be getting lost again. He rounded a corner and saw the Flygon settle down in the back. Turning up his pace, Wayne ran around the front way and burst through the front doors.

He screeched to a halt in the lobby, his hands reunited with his knees, catching his breath. Wayne looked up slowly and there she was. Average height but slender, athletic in build without looking like a fanatic. Even though she was of mixed race, her Indian side was most pronounced, capped off by the red bindi at the base of her forehead. What set her apart the most, however, was her formerly dark hair, which had bleached a bright white following a fateful encounter many months ago.

"Tess!" Wayne called and she stopped still in the centre of the lobby. Her eyes lit up in surprise but she settled.
"Wayne," the woman tilted her head slightly, "What are you doing here?"
"It's- it's a Center," Wayne gestured, still winded, "I'm a t-- a trainer. Y'know?"

She examined him closely. Covered in dried mud, obviously just run to the Center, probably because he spotted Flygon.

"Whatever it is, it'll have to wait. I'm busy."
"You dumped me!" Wayne shouted and a few people turned around, "Over the phone!"
"I didn't realise that was a crime," Tess said, slightly annoyed, "Now get out of my way."
"I want an explanation! I'm not moving until-"

Tess sent out her Weavile and Wayne recognised it immediately. It once belonged to Zack, after all.

His eyes shot wide, "Frost!"

The pokémon threw its claw to the side. A formation of ice erupted from its paw, roughly in the shape of the actual appendage, and crashed into Wayne. It lifted him off the floor, still connected to Frost's claw, and smashed the trainer into the wall. The ice continued to flow, eventually setting with Wayne stuck against the lobby wall, pinned from the waist down.

He tried to struggle but he couldn't even budge. Tess walked past, casting him a sharp glance. He thought he saw a glint of pity, but before Wayne could look any closer one of the nurses bounded over to reprimand the girl.

"Such irresponsible use of- I've never seen- well, except for that Litwi- where are you going?!"

Somewhere far away, Wayne figured, because the next thing he knew Tess had left the Center at a brisk pace. She was busy? What the heck with? He sighed as a bunch of people gathered. Hopefully they could get him down before he froze solid.

---

Meanwhile, Hitmonlee landed in the park with Wynaut in his arms. It had been one hell of a ride tracking this pokémon down. Thanks to Meditate, he'd been able to block out the rest of the city sounds and zero in on the pokémon's insane blathering.

But now he was tired. So after clonking Wynaut on the head, which put it to sleep and made it fall over like a picture frame collapsing, Hitmonlee went back to his shade under the tree and tried to rest again.

Helena should be happy with two cute pokémon to herself. Petilil managed to calm down now that Scizor vanished, and actually quite enjoyed the silent fuss that Helena was making.

Helena was indeed happy. Wynaut and Petilil. Sat down upon a bench, Wynaut to one side and Petilil in her lap, she looked out at the park. Wayne had such a cute Pokemon. Her head turned in the direction Scizor might be in.

Maybe he'd trade Petilil for Scizor.

((That'd be awesome.))

A small team of people armed with chisels finally managed to free Wayne from the wall. The nurse forebade anyone from using fire to get him free, as at least one a*****e suggested, but didn't stop anyone from pouring Ice Heal over the trapping ice.

"Thanks," he said, finally touching the floor again. The ice was reduced to blocks and sat in cold water that took up a decent sized patch of the lobby.
"Are you okay? Do you want to go to the hospital?" the nurse seemed stern in spite of her words, possibly looking at a target to vent her Tess-induced anger towards. Wayne decided it best if someone else took that hit.

"Actually? I think I'll be okay if I just run it off," Wayne edged his way towards the door. "So I'll be back and err-- yeah."

-

Wayne didn't run this time. Instead he walked with his mind doing all the racing. He wasn't prepared to see Tess again so soon. He was upset when she dumped him, sure, but the worst part was her refusal to tell him why. He thought he'd put it out of his mind; talking about her nonchalantly at their impromptu party in Nacrene was little more than an attempt at not caring.

"God damnit, Tess," Wayne stared at the sky, hands in his pockets, traversing the unfamiliar streets like a native. "Quit acting like a b***h and just tell me."
"Later," she said, "How are your legs doing?"

Wayne jumping out of his skin seemed to be all the confirmation Tess needed. He hated it when she snook up on him.

"How long have you been there?!" Wayne whined, "No wait, you just froze me up against a wall!"
"I thought you needed to cool off," she said, hiding her smile by walking with her head held high. "Quit talking personal with your whole voice."
"Okay, fine. But seriously, I could need medical care, or- or something. I mean, I don't... I don't think I do." He hoped he didn't. "Tess, what's going on with you?"

She stopped walking and Wayne turned back to face her. People were still milling up and down the main street, crossing paths between the two trainers.

"We can talk more tonight," she said over the rabble, "meet me at the Plasma Event," she looked him up and down, "Don't forget to wear something nice."

A burly gent walked between them and by the time his shoulder passed, Tess had vanished and Wayne was left alone in the middle of the city. He slapped his palm against his forehead, feeling exasperated.

Even so, a little fire was starting to flicker into life.

-

"Hey!" Wayne yelled over to Helena and his pokémon, "I'm back! I couldn't find Wyn--err there he is! I found him!"

He slowed down, pointing towards the knocked out doll-like pokémon next to the doll-like young woman. Hitmonlee was feeling stronger now and was standing up nearby with his arms folded, hiding the black mark on his chest from where Psyshock struck.

"Well, if we're all back," Wayne said with a grin towards Helena, "How would you feel about me doing some more training?"

Helena looked at Wayne upon his arrival. The park was still pretty much empty, Scizor's killing intent toward anyone not Wayne, Helena or their Pokemon pretty much kept them away. Considering how news reported on entirely trivial and stupid things instead of hospitals blowing up - thanks Robert - it would probably be front page news tomorrow.

Helena nodded at the suggestion. However - evidenced by the fact that she didn't release Petilil - she seemed under the impression that training went for just Hitmonlee and Solosis.

((^^' ya... but, im still alive, and so are my pokemon. and im not giving up on fighting plazma!))

"mm... " the boy stired, he remembered fighting team plazma, and being hit by mienshaos attack, but the rest is a blank. he looked around and relized he was in the back room of a pokemon center. in the corner of the room he noticed a gallade, half asleep... but was that... "kai?" he managed to speak, sitting up, holding his side.
the gallade rose his head, dazed for a moment, then quickly rose and hugged the boy, smiling. the boy smiled and hugged his friend. "how did u evolve? howd i get here... what happend?"
at this point, joy comes back. "ah, i see your feeling better" she said with a warm smile. "seems heal pulse was enough... still, u were hurt realy bad, how do u feel?"
"oh, i feel fine, thanks" he said smiling back and standing up. he was still alittle wobbley but was way better off than he should be.
the conversation went as such, and soon, he and kai were walking out the front door of the center, waving goodbye to the kind nurse.

((If I hated you this is where a dozen police cars would show up to arrest you.

I do, however, dislike Robert and since he quit he loses all rights to his character.

Which means...))

FINALLY! He'd FINALLY tracked him down. Now, he could get him from behind! Robert lunged! He'd been waiting for this, ever since he was pretty much ignored in the Dreamyard, ever since he was humiliated and his friend's dojo was destroyed and that mean nurse reported that he wanted to have sex with his Pokemon.

It was true, but that's besides the point. It wasn't sick, dammit. He wasn'-

No, he was losing track of his real goal.

Robert lunged at Gorm from behind.

And was swatted away. Well, his upper half was, the bottom half fell to its knees, and then fell completely over.

His top half soared, crash landing on an EMT boat that had arrived in case the Gyarados' rampage had hurt anyone.

Gorm, meanwhile, had only barely noticed Robert enough to utilize this.

"More will come," he informed Victini.

"Victi?"

"Their group has ties with the Government. We've fought with them before, they collapsed the dream yard - nearly wiping an entire species out of existence - they torched half of Pinwheel Forest. And now they'll come after you, too. Because they know we want your help, they'd rather you were dead then help us."

He looked to Victini who blinked in amazement.

"I've already lost half of my men to them. They're monsters. Come, we must flee before more of them come."

Victini nodded. If it hadn't been for two consecutive attacks Victini might have doubted Gorm's words. But the evidence spoke for itself.

((Plus only a tiny part of it was lying. I'm sure if they knew Plasma was after Victini they'd cause another catastrophe. Go Crew!))

((Kijin's Absol is a wanted fugitive, too. It was basically blamed for everything that happened in Striaton because it's an Absol. Damn racist people.

Anyways, you're probably just being reported. They got your physical description and know you have a Gyarados, think you have a Kirlia. Having a Gallade probably won't save you. Using your trainer I.D. will probably also get you in trouble.

Honestly, you have a lot more potential as an interesting character than the run of the mill gym challenging person.))
PostPosted: Mon Mar 12, 2012 2:52 pm

kijin?
and sounds fun, i didnt realy wanna just challange gyms anyway biggrin so will all of unova recognize me? also is the plazma galla or party or watever it is a masquerade party? cuz i had some ideas for my next move, mabye even save victini depending on gorms next move))

((Another RPer in the RP. But he takes a lot of breaks.

It's a formal party, so like, tuxes and dresses.

And no, they won't recognize you. Law enforcement might. And if anyone runs your name at anywhere you'll pull up a red flag if they can attach your face to a name. So like, public records will screw you.))

Gorm's next move, of course, was to take a boat. With his remaining grunts, they'd escape Liberty Garden.

Gorm seated himself across from Victini. "I am sorry to bring this all upon you, however the big picture is beyond just you and me. We have to work together, to save all of the Pokemon from monsters like these trainers who wish to use them as tools. Tools for fun, for war, for tedious tasks. Slaves and weapons, that is how they view you."

Gorm offered his hand. "Help me and we can save Pokemon all over the world."

Luka finally arrived at the Gym. It was exactly as he remembered it ((From all of two days ago. XD)), big, green and arty. He walked through the entrance to find a slightly decimated art gallery. What the hell kind of battle had happened here?

Luka knew that he had to get to Burgh but the only way through seemed to be the wall of honey that lay before him in that room full of honey. He had been such a wuss back then, fainting at the sight of the clown guy and then being over-powered by the honey. He'd seen and smelt far worse and far more over-powering stenches since then. A bit of honey wasn't going to do anything. So, he started to try and walk through the honey wall-door when a passageway opened up beside him. He stepped back out of the honey and looked down the passageway. "Hello? Erm.... Why is this passageway open?"

Nobody answered, so Luka followed it through to the staircase where Burgh stood painting something. Luka couldn't see it at present but he walked up the stairs to where Burgh stood. "Erm... Mr Burgh, sir.... Is that passageway meant to be open?"

Burgh looked up from his painting to see Luka's confused face and the open secret passageway. "No." Inside the passageway a laughing figure could be seen. "Jack, you un-artistic softy." He shook his head and removed his painter's overalls. "Well, Luka, it looks like you struck lucky in getting back here. You wish to challenge me? Correct?"

Luka nodded. "I may have struck lucky, but I think you'll find that I'm not the same trainer I was when I first came here four days ago. I think I'm ready to win this time."

Burgh chuckled. He moved the canvas and easel to the back of the room and carefully placed his pallette down on the desk beside it. He did the necessary checks on Luka so as to scale the strength of his Pokémon and chuckled again. "Well haven't you been busy. Here are the rules for this battle. Three on Three. The winner shall be the one who achieves two or more victories. Are you ready for the artistic event of your life?"

"Bring it, Burgh."
