Under my definition:
Pixelating or the common term, "Spriting" is basically taking a photo and converting it into a pixel.
Some examples I can share ere these: [X] [X]
Although, it can be more in depth depending on the persons style and taste. I'm only imitating DS styled Digimon for the sake of this guild and it's a simple pattern.
I can either Sprite an official picture or one drawn by hand like these:

[The Sprite]
But for Komi's request, she gave me sketches. some which the poses appear difficult to be converted from the picture itself, so I am "Splicing." Basically take parts of other sprites and fuse them together to make a new Digimon. It's easier and it makes it more believable for the Fan digimon. Although I may have to Sprite from the picture itself as the forms develop more.
It takes time, so I don't 'bust out' a lot of sprites within some weeks. Just some dedication.

For one thing it snowing for the first time in years where I'm living, second i found out I passed all my finals! Third, Got myself birth by sleep and boy is it fun.
