    Miko Tengoku || Kumogakure | Genin [C-rank] || Class :: Puppeteer/ Sensor || Chakra :: 655/655 || Stamina :: 220/220
He's taking to it better than a thought, but it's like trying to force a stone to become clay. His every habit seems set into being rigid...but he's tenacious and he's fighting probably years of formal training in proper etiquette. Chehe, pampered little rich boy; He really makes this a lot more fun that doing it alone.
These were Miko's thoughts as she'd rushed forward at Honō observing with all her sense and extra senses to understand what Honō was going through in a more personal way than he could be aware of before he informing him so. Miko would feel his bodies tension through how he shifted his footing through the ground. As she'd advance on him he'd rather hurriedly shift his body to the side of her attack and just as he move Miko would train her eyes on his looking directly at him as he'd come to the width of her frame from the front and she'd simply lean her weight back and would draw her self to suddenly stop on her rear foot to use it as a pivot so her right leg, formally her forward most leg in the stance, was swiftly swung about to trip Honō while keeping the momentum of her advance. If she'd missed she'd simply spin about.

Though this was her response Miko wasn't so sure how aware Honō was of her "guarding" kunai hand. Hm coming about to her side put him in the alignment to be cut or blocked by her simply sweeping her hand back or forwards toward him.
Well first steps out of the way, he's learned to be more relaxed...w-well barely. but he's moving and that's good. Tactics and contingencies will come later but playing to his strengths and the imperatives of using his life until now to inform what he wants type of shinobi and asset to the village he wants to shape himself into comes next.

Rather than out right tripping Honō Miko would draw her body about and bend her leg so she'd simply brush by his leg fluidly not attacking his legs just showing how quickly her reflexes could keep up with him. Keeping her kunai drawn back to her body in a more defensive manner Miko would announce Honō's passing grade flamboyantly.
"DING DING DING~! We have a winner. Ya moved well there twinkle toes. Now you know what, you got the gist of soft-physical style. Balance, fluidity, evasion, agility, and speed. Using these keys to overturn a more sturdy built opponent is the keys to what some call the "formless" styles. I've hopes for your imagination filling in the blanks on your own, but this should be enough for simple practice. Which should be enough to understand some principles of stealth since they go together rather naturally in terms of being evasive."

Turning about away from Honō and stepping away from him and stashing away her Kunai quickly Miko would call back to Honō to follow. "Oi, no time to dawdle on the small vic's(victories) we've got some scrolls to brush up on. But while we head over to the archive I wanna know Honō what's your plan for the future, like who do you see yourself becoming in the service of this village? I've always wanted to be a hero...but that dreams drifted pretty far from me, but I still think I can cause a shift in things for the village in a way that at least I might give some people a level of skill and devotion to others that might be admired. I'm a bit of a narcissist, so I know my thoughts and views revolve around me, but being honest about that helps with seeking out ways to compensate for where I lack. I need you to start doing the same whenever you get a quite moment to think and relax just let the thought drift through your mind."
Miko would say this with a even voice not show shame or embarrassment in saying these self reflected points about herself and the regiment of thought she wanted Honō to consider. She'd reach a set of scrolls in the library trove of them they had which had a few locked away to more secret area's in lower levels but here were the simple jutsu. The section they were in at the time were Fuuin-jutsu. "You know anything about "Seals"Honō Hokori of the Hari clan?"

Resolution: The user is more determined to get fine details from his sensory techniques, but in order to get this type of clarity the user's range of the technique is reduced by half. The user is able to discover type of technique that is about to be active (fuuin, genjutsu, ninjutsu, custom jutsu, complex tai and buki), even specifics such as Bloodline type and rank. Additionally, the user can gain similar information about any chakra source in their sensory technique's range, including what bloodline the person possesses, and how large their chakra pool is.

Technique Name: Buraindotacchi: Douteki Giketsu [Blind Touch: Kinetic Resolution]
Rank: X-Rank (E-S) [Only E-rank right now]
Type: Taijutsu_Training
Element: Taijutsu
Description: A trained physical sensory ability that is an extended and refined blend between ones muscle memory and a heightened sense of touch. Trough training one can “read” and remember kinetic motion of physical objects around themselves as long as some form of motion (vibration) is happening around them, and there after differentiates them specifically committing the sensation to memory. (New sensations are responded to vaguely if not committed to memory/identified already.)
This ability has only a 6-yards [3-yards] cubic range, and works better on the ground/in water. Where vibrations are involved mid-air sensing isn’t exact. The practitioner retains a slight increase in reflexes over their current Rank standard from this ability, and when retrained this boost also increase from slightly, to mildly, to moderately and etc. Though passive this ability drains stamina when used to dodge equal to the rank of the technique being avoided with in the trained limit!

Honō Hokori
[ "A shinobi who succumbs to their nature is a shinobi lesser than I." ]

So it was witnessed...
Honō blinked, flinching at the sudden stop, Miko staring right at him. He was barely able to stumble onto a more secure footing when his teacher was suddenly sweeping her leg forward, low with the intent to trip him up. His time spent settling his stance worked against him, but instead of hitting the ground, all he felt was a brush against his leg, the large width of his hakama being ruffled in the process. Honō ducked his head down slightly at the praise, feeling anything but successful. Was he so terrible that she just wanted to move onto something else? Something he'd hopefully be more proficient in? He just felt so self-conscious about the physical side of things, weary of how far away from perfect he was. He'd feel a lot more comfortable not having an audience.

It took a moment for Honō to jump into movement, tucking away the kunai he had drawn earlier so he could redress himself properly. The outer skirt to his hakama and the coat were quickly pulled on and fastened with nimble fingers. On his way, he also bent down to scoop up the kunai Miko had handed him, the same one he had dropped right at the start of his training in the soft-physical. He kept it in his hand as he followed along, waiting till they were side-by-side before offering it back to her. 'Compensate?' Honō probably spent too much time worry how he could cover up his faults. But, instead of saying anything, he just nodded, walking alongside Miko in silence.

Honō blinked, looking up to Miko with a face of minor surprise. He wasn't used to people calling him by his entire, formal, name. "Uh, well." Green eyes fluttered away. "We sometimes ask members of the main clan to use it in the transport of our more... high-valued projects. Or when we need a lot of glass moved from the warehouse to the workshop. But, uh. No - nothing practically, as in, I've never used it." Honō turned his eyes to the selection of the library Miko indicated to, watching as she pulled out a relatively thin book. It's title indicated a beginner's guide, and Honō took it when it was offered. Moving over to a desk, Honō took a seat and began to read it.

The thin book was an introductory guide to the two main Fuuinjutsu, the first being to seal. It was recomended to attempt the seal with an object of no value, like a pebble, in case something goes wrong (a frightening throught). With a few spare pieces of paper and a pen from the library's stock, Honō copied over the necessary symbols and placed a single glass bead onto the table before clasping his hands together, eyes closing to focus on his miniscule chakra pool. He felt the tug almost instantly, and the energy was sapped from him, leaving a slight tingling sensation behind, in the tips of his fingers. Opening his eyes, the glass bead was gone (for a second he thought it might have just rolled away when he wasn't looking, but Miko said otherwise.) Breathing in, Honō flipped back to the manual to read the next steps necessary to retrieve the small ball.

                                [ Fuuinjutsu - Fūnyū no Jutsu [ Enclosing Technique ] - E-rank ]
                                [ -1 Academy, -2 Teacher, ]
                                [ 2/2 ]

                                [ Basic Training – Performance {1/3} ]

                                [ Mission - Learn a Jutsu - D-Rank {1/3} ]

Honō found the second technique to fuuinjutsu, the release jutsu, to be far simpler than the first. It didn't require set-up like Funyu did - and this was purposefully so, as shinobi relied on its quick trigger to gain access to what they sealed away. Looking away from the instructions and to his right hand, green eyes became slightly unfocused as he focused on gathering chakra once again. Still not quite used to moving his chakra at will, it took a few moments to properly gather some into his hand before he reached forward, pressing the hand flat on top of the paper holding the Funyu seal. Again, the slight tingling sensation occurred when the energy was pulled from him. Almost immediately afterward, Honō felt a hard pressure push up against his palm – and moving his hand revealed the glass marble he had stored away into the paper before. Honō couldn't help the smile that tugged his lips up.

                                [ Fuuinjutsu - Kaifū no Jutsu [ Unsealing Technique ] - E-rank ]

                                [ 2/2 ]

Honō pulled another clean piece of paper towards him and began writing up the seal for Funyu over and over. He needed to memorise the symbols required to save time later on. He copied it out, line after line, each time getting more familiar with it, taking less time to do, and also making up a small story in his head to try and jolt his memory into recalling it all correctly later on in life. He would also have to get proper materials as well, so he can ensure it all works properly... issue for another day. After Honō had made up a memorable enough story to recall all the aspects of the seal's appearance, he turned the paper over to its still blank other side and put down the pen.
                                [ 3/4 ]
                                [ Basic Training – Performance {3/3} ]

Honō has returned his attention to the manual, reading on its explanation on the chakra differences between how much content (or even people!?) could be stored within particular Funyu. And not just chakra, but also the materials needed varied. It was detailed, yet simplified, perfect for its title. Also, quite useful in distracting Honō enough for the newly formed story in how to recall the Funyu to disappear from the front of his mind, where it was fresh. After some moments, he picked up the pen once again, and drew the seal proper this time, taking it slighter slower than previously as he went through what was needed. Upon comparison, it was a little rough, but basically correct. Honō produced a half dozen of glass marbles once more to test it, not as bothered by the tingling sensation now.

                                [ Mission - Learn a Jutsu - D-Rank {3/3} ]

                                [ Complete : 100Ryo & 150AC ]

Honō blinked, finding the glass beads gone, sunk into the seal and safely stored away. He recalled the manual explaining the amount of stored items affecting the amount of chakra and quality of the material needed. While the amount stored is more than 5x the original mass Honō had first attempted, according to the manual, the amount of chakra needed worked in smaller divisions accumulative to (or was it of?) the total mass. For a beginners guide, it still made Honō's mind pause in confusion at times. He'd hate to read the intermediate instructions... The seal Honō had used meant he had to input the correct amount of chakra in order to successfully retrieve the glass objects, that much he understood. Too little, or too much, and it wouldn't work.
                                [ 3/4 ]
                                [ Basic Training – Performance {2/3} ]

Honō flicked his attention back to the book briefly. The amount of chakra needed didn't have to be exact to the drop, but it certainly couldn't be below the minimum. There was a margin of leeway, at least. It just meant he would probably waste some chakra in the release – which is something he can't really afford, being so limited already. Honō had little concept on what constituted the 'amounts' of chakra, so he just gathered the same amount he used before and, well, he increased the mass by around 5x the original, so... maybe just double the chakra and hope it would be enough? To little and nothing would happen, too much and it would mean some would be wasted – either way, he'd have an answer. Once ready, instead of placing his hand flat on the seal's surface, he just touched his fingers to the edges of the piece of paper – the glass marbles appeared before him, intact and whole in number.

Aspects
Strengths:
• Evironmental Lens:
Is able to accurately estimate the weaknesses and viable exploits in the
surrounding environment. Be it the stabilising pebble at the base of the wall,
or the angle needed to fell a tree where needed.

• Soldering Teammate:
Honō will support his teammates by means of supplying weapons, tripping
up the opponent, or manipulating the environment to his allies' advantage.
Honō will watch his teammate(s) to get familiar with their tells, thus
becoming more and more accurate in reading their intentions.

• Sleek Steps:
Due to his training in the Hari clan, Honō has no difficulty traversing slippery
surfaces, even over uneven terrain.

• Latticino Hands
Honō's work has gained him steady hands and the ability to perform minute,
detailed work. Finicky work, such as the setting up even the most intricate
traps, holds less trouble for him.

Weaknesses:
• Cracks:
Honō was never trained for proper combat, and as such has a tendency to
flee instead of fight, especially when out numbered. When hit with an attack,
his urge to flee only increases.

• Jewelled:
Honō's choice in clothing marks him out from other shinobi; restricting his
movements slightly and hindering most chances at stealth.

• Fragility:
Trained in his work instead of his responsibilities as a shinobi, Honō lacks
the strength most individuals garner from their everyday training.

Fears:
• Broken Shards:
Knowing he isn't the most skilled shinobi in the village, Honō fears his
teammates will leave him behind if he fails to meet their expectations.

• Shattered:
Honō was never the strongest, or masculine, individual in Kumo. He fears
this makes him a target of assault; verbal or physical. Whenever he leaves
the workshop he is constantly anxious and alert of his surroundings,
misreading the words and reactions of the people around him to negatively
apply to him.

Class Disciplines :
Legendary Smith
The user is able to gain a 5th title rank from every applicable smithing tree. 'Training' for Legendary takes 10 posts of crafting work, provides an additional 1 post off of crafting times, and gives a Grandmaster NPC (of the same area) for usage. In addition, any item solo crafted (without an npc helper) is non-reproducible by non-Legendary titled smiths.

Balanced Master
Any jutsu learned can be paid for with either chakra, stamina, or a mix of the two. Any further chakra types are also subject to this. Recovery amounts for chakra and stamina are doubled while working, and working counts as relaxing.

Lifetime Disciple
This discipline is for those wishing to gain from a lifetime master, never to be one themselves until their master is deceased. Gaining knowledge from over the course of their studies, the disciple will receive twice the benefits from each of their master's smithing trees (up to their completed titles), while in the living presence of them. After their master's death, they will successfully pass on a permanent, one-quarter of the benefit to their own Lifetime Disciple, if any. (round up to the nearest applicable number, as designated in the smithing thread)

Reductions:
• N/A

Personal Attributes:
• A Natural's Touch:
After long study and a certain knack at birth, Honō has what many people call a "natural talent" for creation of glass objects. Because of this, every third creation is exceptionally superb, granting a 50% increase to profits made from that item.

• Black Glass Mentality:
Honō's years of training with Katon [ Fire ] jutsu and glassmaking and mainpulation jutsu has helped him learn a deeper understanding of volcanic glass. As such, his experiments with enchanting any volcanic glass with Gellal has been cut by half.

• Uncanny Aim:
Preferring to create and maintain distance between himself and the enemy, Honō has spent a considerable amount of time crafting range weapons, especially throwing weapons. From this he finds himself creating double the expected number every second attempt without the extra cost of material or time.

Liori's excited clapping died down as the smoke from the explosion faded with the light breeze. The smile stayed on her face despite the rigging blaring in her ears or the thumping pain radiating throughout her forehead. "Nothing like a good explosion to kick start a training per-" She started before turning on her heel at the sound of set of steps appearing out of nowhere. Her smile dropped as she stared into the blank ANBU mask, still not used to how unnerving the village elites were. The man in the mask handed her a small envelope, bowing once it was handing off and vanishing in a plume of white smoke. 'Ugh. Nothing like a creepy masked man to ruin the training period.' She thought with a small sigh as she started to succumb to her headache. Opening the small envelope she pulled out the small missive announcing her squad change and the last known spot of her current leader. She snorted with amusement as she read the name of one of her acquaintances, the jello man Tōso. 'Well, not exactly pumped to be going on a mission so soon, this headache is going to make it a b***h.' She mused with a small grumble as she started making her way towards the Blue Dragon Emporium where the missive listed his last sighting. Her hands rubbing her forehead as to sooth it.

    Miko Tengoku || Kumogakure | Genin [C-rank] || Class :: Puppeteer/ Sensor || Chakra :: 655/655 || Stamina :: 220/220
Miko looked on at Honō with a bemused smirk on her face positively elated to see his progress even as he seemed to just be inching the needle forward bit by bit on his own as it were, but he was starting to get a feel for the application of his chakra to the sealed contents of his Fuuin. Placing the the marbles into the scroll over and over and writing over the symbols was the least he could do, but his discipline and lack of any complaints seemed like a talent in it's self. Though maybe it was Honō finally showing his age and seniority to Miko herself who had a slight tendency to grow impatient at impractical moments still. She'd Sit there crossing her legs on the floor looking at his progress and effort attentively Calling to him now and again when it seemed like he'd become confused by what he'd done or the meaning to what he was reading.

Taking out the scroll she'd received herself from the Anbu agent Miko begin to think about her own training. Though it was taking some time to get into things he seemed to be another person when he became absorbed in the task set before him. Miko exhaled slowly and would crick her neck making a slightly audible snap or cracking noise as she'd open the scroll to look at the notated contents. It was a simple practice puppet, but it was better than the nothing she'd be dealing with for so long. Placing her hand ont he scroll and focusing on unsealing Miko would draw out a wooden puppet with easily visible joints and a body that looked like a bunch of crudely finished logs for limbs.
[ Fuuinjutsu - Kaifū no Jutsu [ Unsealing Technique ] (- C-rank ) [Learned] [1/1]

Comign to stand and look at the object set before her Miko would scratch her head as she'd say to herself, "They really scratched this one out of their arse, chehehe. Well Honō seems you're getting better at feeling the difference for chakra "grades" as I like to think of'em. It's like the amount of energy or classification you might assume something of a certain quality and force might require. Right now I'd say you're meeting about a standard for genin. Your writing has improved for the Fuuin rather quickly, but given your background I figure writing and calligraphy was probably a part of your formals educations, right? So the shoe fits with you and fuuin, but right now Kaifu is just the basic means to store an object away in something of a space thinly out of sight from our dimension of perception. It's like flattening things down till their so thing they can't be seen of experienced in anyway the same way you would normally. Though...well~ the next level. "
Miko would start over to a much thicker scroll and would display it by slamming it down in front of Honō and then unrolling it to reveal the next task at hand.

"Say hello to one of the greatest schools of Fuuin, the dimension folding and spacing warping art of Kuchiyose. Summoning is an art that can pull object not from that flattened space I talked about that Kaifu is using but actually reach from any distance into an assigned and contracted creature of thing you wish to call to your aid or whatever jus shotin the shyte works too. Though even before you tackle this beast you need to work on getting your "grade" up to Chuunin or in other words C-rank in Kaifu. Think you can do that? Also I'll let you contract me as your first Kuchiyose. In the mean time I need to go and do some of my own training. Look to me if anything gets you stuck and when you feel like trying the summoning let me know. e have to sign it in blood. But dont' worry about it just small amount is enough. For your Kaifu training though... "
Miko would withdraw a genin sized scroll and would hand it to Honō. Giving him nothing more than a nod as to say You know what to do with it, and it's yours now With a wink Miko would step off to the side and would withdraw a scroll or two for herself to read as well.

Teaching works up to C-rank Kaifu now, but Kuchiyose you're alone.

Kuchiyose no Jutsu [ Summoning Technique ]

Official Description: The Summoning Technique is a space–time ninjutsu that allows the summoner to transport animals or people across long distances instantly via blood. Before an animal summoning can be performed, a prospective summoner must first sign a contract with a given species. The contract comes in the form of a scroll, on which the contractor uses their own blood to sign their name and place their fingerprints and once signed it is valid even after the contractors death as long as the contract itself remains intact. After this they need only offer an additional donation of blood on the hand they signed the contract with, mold their chakra with hand seals and then plant the hand they signed the contract with at the location they wish to summon the creature. The amount of chakra used during the summoning determines how powerful the summoned creature can be. It should be noted that anyone can summon a contracted animal as long as they have the blood from someone who has made a contract, the seal of the summoned creature, along with a source of sufficient chakra that the summon will accept. A creature is capable of determining who is attempting to summon it from the chakra used. In the anime, it was shown that if a user attempts to summon an animal without first signing a contract, the user will be teleported to the home of the animal they have a natural affinity for.
Guild Description: See official description. Requires C-rank training in Kaifū. Is listed under the Maruton section, allowing for the 'Kuchiyose' section to be put down separately on one's profile with mirrored ninjutsu limits. Allows for dna contracts between living entities. After learning, is automatically applied to wanted Kaifū.

Yesterday is not ours to recover, but tomorrow is ours to win or lose.

Serenity strolled back into the Dojo, where she assumed Inori would be, since she hadn't been told there was a different meeting place. She spotted Inori and strode over to him, the money in her hands, ready to return it, since Kazurai had said he had working radios. And she couldn't find anything else that she had wanted that was within her price range. She figured she should return the money, since she hadn't been told to keep it even if she didn't buy anything. "Hey, Inori, here's the money back, I didn't buy anything, since Kazurai has four working radios that he's willing to give to the rest of us." She didn't really have to much else to say, so she just went quiet for the moment.

Passives: Shining Judgment of a Thousand Stones [ Unnamed ]
Rank: Passive
This unnamed Ninjutsu technique is utilized by members of the Shouton clan. Few knew about its existence until an unnamed member rediscovered the ability and began teaching it as a staple in the clan bloodline. It is seen as the next stage of power in members who possess it, and as such the requirement for learning it are steep in regards to time. This technique allows the Shouton bloodline member to create crystals harder than quartz, or a 7 on the Mohs Scale of Mineral Hardness. This encompasses anything that science, in our world, has dictated to be a crystal.
• Requires [12] posts to learn.
• Encompasses all crystals beyond the 7 hardness scale.
• Must learn before proceeding to use with all other techniques/skills.
• Crystal takes on the properties of the crystal it becomes, such as resistance to heat or conductivity with electricity.

Shou Soujuu [ Crystal Manipulation ]
Ability
This control allows the Crystal user to bend existing crystals as though it were their own. Not only can it take any form the user desires, but it can also be shifted around as if it were a part of their own body. It should be noted that one can also manipulate their crystalline objects they themselves have made, and it must be done while holding a double hand seal. Additionally, any crystal that is being freely manipulated is not very solid, and can be broken or blown away as if it were completely natural, making it a poor choice for attacking or defending with. Should be noted that techniques can be made smaller while retaining their rank.
___ Rank E: Very small crystals. ( A pebble, etc )
___ Rank D: Small crystals. ( A rock, etc )
___ Rank C: Medium crystals. ( A growth, etc )
___ Rank B: Large crystals. ( A stalagmite, stalactite, etc )
___ Rank A: Enormous crystals. ( Several columns, etc )
___ Rank S: Massive crystals. ( A small cavern, etc )
• Requires [5] posts to learn, and must learn in order.
• Freely manipulated crystal has no chakra or stamina bearings in versus situations.

Hyōton [ Ice Release ]
The act of combining wind and water chakra in order to generate water-composed ice. This method can be performed on existing bodies of water, or by manipulating the minute amount of water molecules in the air, either way, it is an impressive and powerful feat that requires only a single hand. Ice created this way lays dormant- they are not attacks on their own.
It should be noted that the ice can still be shattered or sliced by physical forces strong enough, one [1] rank higher as per normal. Attacks without chakra cannot damage the ice.
___Rank D: Small to medium amounts of water to ice. ( Deep puddles, pools, etc. )
___Rank B: Large amounts of water to ice. ( Ponds, etc. )
___Rank S: Massive amounts of water to ice. ( Creeks, etc. )
• Requires [10] posts to learn.
• Must learn before proceeding to other techniques.
• If you cannot learn a certain rank of technique, you cannot create ice equal to that amount. ( A genin cannot learn A ranked jutsu, so he cannot turn massive amounts of water into ice. )

Hi Soujuu [ Ice Manipulation ]
Attribute
This control allows the Hyouton user to meld dormant ice as though it were clay. Not only can it take any form the user desires, but it can also be levitated or shifted around as if it were water. It should be noted that one can only manipulate ice they themselves have made, and it must be done while holding a single handsign. Additionally, ice that is freely manipulated is not very solid, and can be broken or melted as if it were natural ice- making it a poor choice for attacking with.
• Requires [5] posts to learn.

Once the two had left Inori quickly ducked around the corner making a sort of laberinth through the academies various rooms until she found one suitable. Shutting the door behind her she knelt quickly as her breath began to rapidly enter and escape her. Despite her best efforts her fear was eating at her more and more with each breath. She did not ask for a team, she did not ask to be a leader, nor did she want it. After a time she finally managed to get her breathing under control. Rising to her feet she brushed her hair back and promptly returned to where she was before.

She would drive on forwards, she would keep going. No matter the cost. Fixing her hair she nodded to her two teammates when the approached. Shaking her head she waved her hand,"Dont, keep it. It wasn't mine anyway. That is a bit of funding that the village provided me with to ensure we were supplied for the mission. Hang on to it, you never know when a bit of extra money will come in handy." Turning on heel she waved over her shoulder,"Come on. Time I filled you in."

Heading up the stairs to the second floor she turned a couple of corners and slid her key into the door before her. Once the two had entered she shut and locked it behind her. The room was covered wall to wall with various instruments and sound equipment which ranged from guitars to drum sets to amplifiers, violins, pianos and everything in between. On the far wall was five records. Two gold, and the rest silver. Making her way across the room she took a seat at the small table and nodded,"Welcome to my little getaway graciously provided by the village and my record company."

Honō Hokori
[ "A shinobi who succumbs to their nature is a shinobi lesser than I." ]

So it was witnessed...
Honō blinked and looked down at the thick scroll presented in front of him. Kuchiyose? With a nod, he pulled another blank piece of paper towards him and picked up the pen once again. He carefully wrote out the sealing sign once again, without looking to the previous ones or the scroll that explained it. He did, however, compare it to the officially written one to make sure there were no mistakes before pausing, trying to figure out what to place into the seal that would prove he had done a correct, stronger version. He blinked and began unclasping his jacket, taking it off to carefully fold and place on the table, beside the paper seal. With one hand on the seal, and the other on his jacket, he summoned up his chakra, ignoring the slight stab of doubt that sprouted in the back of his mind. The Jacket vanished from beneath his fingers.

Honō felt a rush of air leave his lungs, his chest feeling slightly heavy all of a sudden. The cost to seal his coat away was enough to make him very much aware of how much energy he had spent so far. It was getting to be too much, his reserves not large enough to continue this type of work for long periods of time. Breathing in, Honō tried to relax and mentally prep himself for the upcoming cost to bring his coat back. "Oh-kay..." He sighed, green eyes fluttering closed in preperation. He summoned up the energy, hoping to pull from any other part of his body so he wouldn't be left feeling even weaker. The energy cost felt different this time, but still his coat reappeared before him, same as it was before it was sealed away.
                                [ 5/5 ]

Pulling on his coat and pushing away the used papers, Honō got comfortable at the desk and readied himself to read the thick scroll Miko had retrieved for him. Unrolling it, Honō found that its instructions and details were slightly more complex in its explenation than the previous manual the Hari clan member had been studying. Miko's explanation had left Honō feeling rather bufuddled and unsure exactly what it was he was learning. Like, a contracted creature? How does one... 'contract' an animal? The start of the scroll wasn't of help either until the third time he tried to read it. By then he was able to start deciphering and breaking up what is needed of him in simple, understandable, mental dot points.
                                [ 4/5 ]

So, he needed to sign with his blood, and leave a bloody impression of his fingerprints, to sign the contract. The contracted animal, or person, would do the same. So, to summon the animal, or person, Honō would just have to give a little more blood, chakra, and the placement of his contract-used hand on the location where he wants the summon to appear. Okay. Simple enough. Honō retrieved his only kunai and nicked in a tiny cut to the tip of his forefinge after a moment of hesitation. Unfortuntely, it was too small to allow the blood to drip fast enough to properply write his name. With a grimace, he had to widen the cut, his shoulders hunching up around his neck in dislike of the pain. When the blood finally began to flow freely, he was able to start writing his name properly. Once that was done, he transfered the blood from his forefinge onto his thumb, and used that to spread it over the pads of the rest of his digits before placing his fingerprints onto the scroll as well. With that, it was signed, only requiring another to similarly sign it so Honō could summon an ally of some kind to his location.

AD Reaper Elyse

Aspects

Honō Hokori
[ "A shinobi who succumbs to their nature is a shinobi lesser than I." ]

So it was witnessed...
Honō noticed that, while he had finished learning the techniques Miko had instructed for him, his teacher was in the middle of her own training for the moment. Making sure to get her blessing, Honō would continue his training as well, both seeming to be on a... he believed the saying to be 'on a roll.' Even as he went, Honō hoped that Miko would still be able to give him a hand whenever he got stuck on something.

Honō clasped his hands together in a jutsu sign. There was no sequence for this particular Hari Clan technique, being used a channel through which he is meant to focus and channel his chakra and will through. The Hari Soujuu, the ability to free manipulate glass. The intricacy and abundant ornamentation of Honō's outfit was designed for such a purpose; the many beads threaded along it able to be pulled to this technique's use. However, this particular Hari clan member has only just recently been able to make use of the technique, leaving him unexperienced in anything but the most basic of manipulations.
                                [ 4/5 ]

As he felt his chakra begin to stir to his will, Honō closed his eyes briefly to prevent any outward distractions, but he needed to open them again soo after. In order to properly shape the glass in his control, Honō will need to watch it. Breathing out, Honō pull on the glass beeds threaded along his jacket. He focused on a specific strong of beads, watching as they shimmered and melted together, their colours blending as he twisted them together into a spiralling twist.
                                [ 5/5 ]
                                [ 10 Chakra cost ]
                                [ -1 Teacher Reduction ]
                                [ -2 Academy Reduction ]
                                [ D-Rank - Hari Soujuu [ Glass Manipulation ] ]

Honō released the technique, his hands gently moving to rest in his lap while he caught his breath. His chakra didn't fell too drained by the exercise, surprisingly, giving the Hari clan member some incentive to continue on. Reaching up, Honō unhooked the strand of beads he had just been practicing on along with another strand, as of yet untouched by the Hari Soujuu. He laid both lnegths down on the desk before him, keeping them close to each other for the ease of his next attempt at the jutsu. Honō clasped his hands together, ready to this time control more beads and at a greater from himself than he has ever previously attempted. Again, he had to close his eyes to better grab control of his chakra.

Green gaze focused on the collection of over forty beads, Honō breathed out, feeling his energy leaving him as well. Rather than feeling his chakra reserves shrivel, however, he instead felt a weariness begin to set itself in his muscles and joints. Still, Honō ignored the siphoning of energy and focused as the glass before him melted into a puddle, their mass spreading out. He forced the glass to spread out as thin as possible, dipping and filling into the various marks and scratches eteched into the table's surface. Honō felt his ability to concentrate on its wide spread beginning to falter, causing a hitch of slight panic in the back of his head. Forcing a steady breath, Honō called the glass together once more, pulling it all back to return them into the individual beads, strung upon the plush, red, thread.

Aspects

From this he finds himself creating double the expected number every second attempt without the extra cost of material or time.

the only lie i see is now - INSIDE OF MY HEADxxxx◈◈xxxxthe only truth slips through - MY FINGERTIPS IN THE END

Finally making his way to the dojo was young Soraru (or old, compared to a few of the other Genin). Knowing he was late, he decided not to take his time in walking into the Dojo, his mind recollecting what happened the last time he entered. Search the building...make sure the villagers are safe. He remembered those words specifically from Kaileer, however he felt like he'd only done one of those things. Yeah, I tried to protect all I could, but i was still selfish. It wasn't enough. He thought, with less bitterness before, but there was still that layer of disgust that he'd been keeping fresh in his mind. The woman he talked to in the office told him to never forget the feeling, so he embraced it. What mattered wasn't what he did or didn't do on his first day of being a Genin. It was everything he bothered to do from then onward. When he walked through the Dojo, he didn't really find anyone there, meaning that his team had likely moved on to another area though. At the very least, he walked over to the side where they kept the scrolls to grab the one detailing Tetsu no Ryu. Until he decided he didn't need to rely on Bushido anymore, it was his most valuable tool. Putting it in the left jacket pocket, he moved on once more to enter the door which connected to the academy building. I wonder what my team will be like. Casual aspiring Genin trying to become stronger? Maybe they'll be like the two from Konoha. I guess trying to estimate people without anything to go on is pretty silly though. He thought, mind always rampant like usual. That was just who he was.

On his way to finding his team though, he figured that he should at least try to make up just a bit for the lost time while he was kidnapped.

Soraru put his hands together and began to try and focus his chakra, starting off with the Ox sign. Now...what were the signs? I kept running them by in my head last time. (1) Continuing onto the next hand sign, he placed one hand over the other horizontally to form the Monkey seal, feeling his tenketsu beginning to shift while it rose out from his core to start weaving within him. Switching from Monkey to Hare was pretty easy, just a flick of the wrist and shift in fingers. Just the typical stuff that people learned in the academy. (2) Switching from Rat to Boar to Bird happened pretty seamlessly, and Soraru found that he was getting faster in the pace of his handsigns. His body, or rather his tenketsu remembered the formation of the rigorous string of hand signs required for the Suiryuudan no Jutsu. With that, it was just a matter of actually letting his body carry along, his mind forming the image for it to take. (3) "Ox, Horse, Bird, Rat, Tiger..." He started to whisper to himself out loud while his hands moved as quickly as his words. Yes, the sign was outrageously long. No, it wasn't worth it for a B-ranked jutsu, when there were SS ranked which had less signs than it did. However the main reason he learned it was because it would serve as a measurement of his potential. Stronger Suiton users could perform less signs, up to the point where kage's could do it with a single one. (4) Continuing on, Soraru went into a stream of signs, even drawing the attention of some people walking by just going about their business. Dog, Tiger, Snake, Ox, Ram, Snake, Boar, Ram, Rat, Monkey, Bird, Dragon, Bird, Ox, Horse, Ram, Tiger, Snake, Rat, Monkey, Hare. Boar, Dragon, Ram, Rat, Ox, Monkey, Bird, Rat, Boar, Bird. A hilariously ridiculous amount of hand signs, but he did them fluidly and fast, his tenketsu burning up in his body, waiting for him to release the chaka. He didn't though, since there wasn't much for him to do it with. There was some molecules he could use, but not enough to form the dragon. So he broke the handsign, letting his tenketsu die down.

With that done, he paused at the next step, anyone who had stopped to see his hand signs forming having moved on. There was always a way that Soraru could mold his chakra that earned both ire and respect back home, although it seemed quite welcomed in Kumogakure. The people had a tendency to stand around and watch him play, occasionally even tossing ryo his way. Inns and such would allow him to stay a night if he could bring in enough income for them. (1) Parting his lips, he started to sing softly, voice a little high at the start. It was a rather pleasant sound to listen to, always in a nice tone, pitch, and quality. His voice range was nothing major, usually sticking to a low, breathier tone and occasionally raising higher enough for it to become noticable. (2) "Awai tsuki ni mitorete shimau kara...Kurai ashimoto mo miezu ni" As he sang, his chakra began to rise faster than it did when he built it up through molding hand signs. The buildup would be noticeable to a sensor, and as his sky blue eyes closed, he was able to see the world in his own way. A form of reverse Genjutsu. While opponents were trapped in ones that he created, he could see what they say from an outside view by closing his eyes and allowing himself to give into the chakra he produced. (3) The view he decided to watch was similar to his name, as he traveled through the skies when he shut his eyes. A dawn sky, with fireflies everywhere, and he was in a comfortable free fall. Everything felt real, and the biggest comfort was that he was well aware that he had full control over what was effecting him. The problem with being effected by enemy genjutsu was that there wasn't that feeling of control at all, not even slightly. (4) The song continued on, and Soraru partook in the feeling of fast winds blowing by his skin and through his hair, looking up into the clouds as his back descended to the earth. When he eventually opened his eyes, there was a look of peace about him, his lips finally shutting once more as he gave a small smile to nobody. Strong senses of Ninjutsu or Genjutsu were pretty repulsive in the Land of Iron, especially given his position as the next heir to run the country, but it felt nice when he sang and gave into his own performance. At least, in Kumogakure, others seemed to like it too. Although he could easily become a threatening force from using that effect to harm the mentality of others.

When Soraru finished his little performance, he went on to enter the Library, his eyes almost immediately moving to the wall that he absolutely broke through about a week ago. It was patched up a bit but far from fixed, something that he expected. Hopefully nobody mentioned it directly to Kaileer. As long as that was the case, things should've been fine. As it was, there were only two people it seemed who were working on things there. One of them who instantly caught his eye stood much taller than him, however seemed to be his age regardless, if the fragile look and tender features were any indication. Well, wasn't too tall over him, probably around half a foot or so, but it was no height to scoff at. The boy wore an outfit that was fairly unique as well for Kumogakure. It was something that the higher nobility would wear back in Tsukihara Hana, and definitely looked quite restricting. Then of course the matter of silvery hair. The girl, on the other hand, was quite opposite. Dark hair, with a somewhat tanned complexion to her. Something about her just screamed....crafty, and he couldn't help but imagine a pirate or treasure hunter of some sort. She, like the boy, wore a strange outfit that he wasn't familiar with. Then again, everyone in the Land of Iron wore armor or traditional clothing, with few exceptions. Her clothing exposed her stomach and hooded what he figured was the rest of her hair. One of those things were good for combat, the other completely bad, but not everyone thought of getting into a fight when they got dressed in the morning. Her sleeves, however, were quite large and would seem capable of hiding weapons if the material weren't thin enough to see through. Unlike the boy near to her, she was shorter than him. While he was quite sure that the two there were his new team, they seemed busy, and he himself wanted to go on as long as possible without getting sucked in to training with others. Not because he was being antisocial, but because he was more used to training with one person who was much more powerful and knowledgeable than he. Other genin wouldn't do much for him.

Walking around the two, he went to the far side of the room by the patched up wall he broke through a week ago, waiting until he either heard their names to confirm his theory or one approached him for his. Until then, he'd work out the kinks and warm up. A week tied up and unable to move could really rust a guy.

Inhale, then exhale. In that time, he'd drawn the katana from his left side with his right hand and extended it outwards in a quick cut, grasping it with his left hand as well when he pulled it back. Then a forward lunge with both blade and body, shifting forwards while stabbing out once, pulling back then thrusting with it again. When pulling back that time, he let go of the blade with his right hand and put it by his side, twirling it with the right in a circle with some light wrist and arm motions. [1/1] [1/2] [1/3]Meant to be a distraction and to antagonize an opponent. The right hand rises while the body turns to parry the incoming strike, while the left crosses over to draw the Wakizashi on the right hip. With that motion, he slashed harshly in a left arc while pivoting his body in that direction, going full twirl in a quick spin that ended up with both arms extended and brought together, suddenly lighting up with the addition of Bushi Ken no Jutsu, while he crouched and brought the blades in a swooping arc downwards to stab behind himself while he faced forwards. Needless to say that if an enemy were to be antagonized by that blade twirl, they'd end up with two blades punctured through their abdomen. Although he normally didn't use a Daisho style, the wakizashi was getting less complex by the second to use alongside his katana. To test that thought, he made another movement which was easily more fluid than the last, bringing his blades apart swiftly like an extending fan as he spun back around in a right pivot rather than towards the left, ending up exactly where he was before, although moving in a backwards motion at the same time. [1/2][1/4][3/3] As the blades came full circle around his body, he finished with a fairly unpredictable movement. The katana rose up while the left crossed over the chest, almost tucking beneath the underarm beneath the blade. With it like that, it was a guessing game to which where he'd strike from, as both attacks could carry momentum. Dropping down the katana in a downwards vertical strike, he shot out with his left hand in an arcing left horizontal one. [2/2][2/4][1/4] He continued his assault, mixing it up even further. Imagining the enemy would try to go in for a counter, he pressed an offensive, shoving his body forward to imagine interrupting an enemy's attack with a shoulder strike, while he tucked his katana down in that same motion, pulling it back up after in an upwards vertical strike, stabbing out with his left hand directly after to further counter an enemy offensive with a follow-up wakizashi strike. [3/4][2/4] Pulling his body back, it would've been obvious from his movements that Soraru alternated between moving like a ghost and a wrecking ball. He slid back just out of what he imagined an enemy katana's length would be, drawing his smaller blade back and pressing the flat of the blade against his right hip, while the katana crossed over the hilt of the wakizashi. Bringing the small blade up further until the blade tip dug against his right arm, he allowed the katana to do the same to his left, bringing both overhead suddenly in a vicious cross slash.[4/4][3/4] As a final show of arms, he allowed his sky blue chakra to crackle audibly against his steel using the Bushi Ken no Jutsu. Then it was a flurry of strikes, using chakra control to make sure that he didn't cause too much damage to the surrounding environment. With one swing after the other, waves of chakra left the blades, each the size of the weapon itself, however they all disappeared about a foot after leaving the blade as to not harm any nearby furnishings in the library. When all was said and done, he ended in a crouch, flicking both blades ceremoniously before sliding each weapon once more into their respective scabbard. [4/4]

    Miko Tengoku || Kumogakure | Genin [C-rank] || Class :: Puppeteer/ Sensor || Chakra :: 655/560 || Stamina :: 220/220
Miko smile at the subtle grim expression that escaped Honō"s facial expression. If he wasn't at the least perturbed by the daunting task of mastering this level of advanced chakra manipulation then he wasn't taking it seriously. Though there was a point to add that Miko never quite let on how advanced the techniques he was learning really were and how resourceful they could be. Rather she lead Honō mostly by the nose to what she'd figured best extended his "natural aptitude" and delighted in her educated guesses to his likely talents being correctly deduced. Yet now back in the hidden clouds academy library and beset by her own limitations and lack of training for what would seem like ages to the kunoichi she had a chance to further extend herself.

Despite the Amazing versatility of the techniques Honō was learning at her recommendation, or possibly command. Miko herself had varied simple skills she'd found more resourceful and adept to meet her needs that needed learning in the schools of both the current Fuuin Library the resided and the kugutsu school of jutsu her fore-fathers and mothers practiced before her. The knowledge was there lingering in the back of her mind from the many times and practices she'd observed as a child in the family shop. Yet the scrolls available at hr current level in her career as a shinobi gave more acute advice on subjects over her down home folk wisdom. Moving some ways away from Honō Miko would tend to the scrolls she'd gather for herself and then display them across the ground in an organized semi-circle about herself. Attaching kugutsu strings to the wooden puppet she'd previously unsealed Miko would move the scroll and the simple puppet over to the open end of the circle and would take a deep breath as she'd seemingly only slightly shift her head about to glance at the scrolls about her. Alright it's time to cram.

Miko would close her eyes and slowly exhale as she'd begin by moving the puppet over the scroll she'd had on hand from the Anbu who delivered the training puppet. Chakra control was easily becoming one of the facets Miko was most skilled in an she'd achieve the appropriate measure for the funyu in moments. Coming to one knee and placing her and on the scroll she'd reseal the wooden training puppet. The funyu was easy but the puppets movements were rigid and slow from any observers perspective due to her neglect to first perform proper inspection and disassembly/reassembly of the puppet before manipulation. looking at the scroll and tilting her head to look at the next jutsu she'd be learning Miko would continue her burst gauntlet of training.
[1/1][1/2 : puppet practice]
Fūnyū no Jutsu [ Enclosing Technique ] (C-Rank) [-20 Chak] [Learned]

Turning away from the scroll Miko would face the other scrolls still kneeling and would focus her chakra towards summoning the puppet in a fashion more unique to the kugutsu style. It allowed her to summon her puppets much like kuchiyose through the space of any distance. Yet this summoning wasn't as exact t be allowed to reverse summon since the puppets attachments to the puppeteer was more "superficial" in a sense compare to the DNA contract of a actual kuchiyose. Focusing her chakra to a simple genin level she was quickly able to withdraw the summon at distance from the scroll it was formally seal in without touching it and placing right before her. Coming to a stand she'd reach out her hands to touch the puppet., tip-toeing to reach since it was about five feet away from her body, but still fairly with in at least "tapping" distance.
[1/1]
Kuchiyose Kugutsu: Ichi [One] (D-Rank) [-5 Chak] [Learned]

Reconnecting her kugutsu strings through her jutsu Miko would focus on allowing the puppet in it's still slightly rigid movement to step away from her up to at least 15 ft and would simply focus on a more serve form of disconnection from her puppet. Despite hating to admit it most of the principles of puppeteering demanded that Miko prioritize staying far and away from the main conflict of a fight. She wasn't built to take blow for blow like Wanryoku and her physical abilties might never reach his heights, but her adept ability to trick the giant and falter his actions with her developed and decisive actions could lend her every advantage she could afford to purchase with her learning. As smoothly as her kugutsu strings were made the strings would simply seem to vanish into thin air as if they weren't there to begin with as Miko adjusted her stance with in her self made circle and would look over to Honō in the distance. He'd seemingly moved on from his training in the Kuchiyose branch of fuuin, but seeing as she'd been in the midst of her own training Miko would focus to try and move it along a bit more in a flurry than a easy breeze to get back to her teaching duties.
[1/1][2/2: puppet practice]
Harigane Tachikiru (Forceful Severing of Wire) (E-Rank) [-5 Chak] [Learned]

Hurrying over to the Puppet once more and creating the strings to attach to it Miko would seemingly "let out the line" a bit by running around the training grounds she'd been practicing in and wrapping the string about the pillars that supported the roof and the upper floors of this section of the building. thoughts came to mind when she'd had to help rebuild this very building not too long ago. Though if she gave it some thought it was possibly a full year since the rouge fire prince had made his gambit to beguile and trick the damaged shinobi of kumogakure post the attacks of the UHV. the technique in question Miko was practicing was called "instant movement", though it was a well known shinobi jutsu it had a variety of forms, and some infamous iterations considering the mastered control or extending of ones skill to use it. Not many could use the jutsu more than thrice in any set melee. so the jutsu was often used for a sudden attack or retreat. What was unique to her own puppeteer version was she'd traveled not along a straight line, but along the "rail lines" her kugtsu strings created. Making her path much more complicated to predict. Given the simple expenditure of chakra and hand-sign required Miko quickly mastered the jutsu and appeared exactly next to her puppet, apparently spiriting away the length of her strings she'd laid out with it all in nearly an instance.
[1/1]
Kugutsu: Shunshin no Jutsu [ Puppetry: Instant Movement Technique ] (D-Rank) [-5 Chak] [Learned]

Satisfied with her puppet training given the completion of what she felt was the core set of techniques for puppet users. Miko would simply practice the inverse of the kugutsu brand of kuchiyose and reseal the puppet back with in the seal that sat 15 ft away from her person. forming the appropriate hand-signs Miko would note the seemingly greater amount of effort needed in simply chakra mass to move the established mass of this object to the seal it was attuned to. Yet with little issue she was able to send to contraption away in a puff of near instantly vanishing smoke back into the scroll it was delivered in. The script on said parchment showing the inscribed materials in a pictured box on the paper that previously appeared empty.
[1/1]
Gyakukuchiyose Kugutsu [Unsummoning] (C-Rank) [-10 Chak] [Learned]

Walking back over to her scrolls and rubbing at her chin as she'd try and remember which scroll she was up to and which one she was going to try next. Miko remembered another kugutsu technique that had merit to learn in terms of the necessity of her having to connect to a puppet at range. The need for her to always be in arms reach of her puppet seemed tedious to say the least, and very detrimental to her lack of skill when it came to close quarter combat...well at lest in the advanced stage she'd set her bar to ever since seeing and "feeling" Wan's rush at the genin in the assembly post the ice creature attack. With a focus to draw the energy to create her strings to her hand in a built up mass and as if firing bullet from her finger tips Miko would use her free hand to throw a kunai away from her and in that same instance use the hand she'd summoned the jutsu to catch the kunai midair with the strings. With a flick of her wrist Miko would withdraw her weapon back into her hand. Exhaling in a slow and controlled breath Miko would look over to her right to see what she'd yet to master, but now there was a focus to try and extend her chakra pool with her efforts as well.
[1/1]
Harigane Hajiku [Wire Snap] (C-Rank) [-10 Chak] [Learned]

Finding a piece of parchment with in the dojo since she no longer had any more spare scrolls to use since she passed along her scroll to Hono Miko would begin to refocus her techniques to the direct Fuuin jutsu's of kaifu and funyu once more. Having come to master the jutsu's to a Chunin's equivalence she'd seek to further elaborate and elaborate on the nature of her kaifu jutsu's and the potential of her fuuin in general. The strength and complexity of this school of jutsu and chakra manipulation was in how each skill developed a new practice in the art, and helped to strengthen the previous skills. Looking to a scroll that allowed her to develop mass area smoke bombs of "a green color", for some undisclosed specific reason Miko worked out creating a the contents to be sealed into the scroll. What was unique was this technique furthered the ability of funyu to seal gases let alone solid objects. Creating a small fire and adding colored debris to be burned but unique to Miko the color was of a pale red hue, the smoke was further concealed as she'd completed the seal on the parchment. Paying attention to focus on feeling out the "edges" of her chakra pool and physical precision and focus were further focused and smoothed out.
[1/1]
Maki Kemuri no Jutsu [ Winding Smoke Technique ] (D-Rank) [-10 Chak] [Learned]
[ ❥ Basic Training: Performance ] [1/3]

Now having this practice seal on parchment Miko new she couldn't rightly just take the piece with her for free. Materials were short on hand in the village and as much as she wanted to just keep the jutsu as a separate entity, or retain the paper her practical sense of responsibility and her knowledge of how much time and skill was put into making said paper wasn't going to allow her more devious predilections get the better of her this day. Rightly she came up with a compromise, and that was "seal connection". This jutsu allowed her to lay out her one remaining scroll retaining the wind shuriken with in to combine the two contents in a compartmentalized effect. By drawing out the means to transfer the jutsu and placing her hands on both scrolls Miko would have the script from the borrowed parchment meld into the contents of her personal scrolls. Now every time she used the shuriken a burst of smoke would be released as well in quantitatively equal divided in ten burst to match the shuriken.
[1/1]
Fuuin Tsunagu [ Seal Connection ] (D-Rank) [-10 Chak] [Learned]

[ ❥ Basic Training: Performance ] [2/3]

Finally Miko was up to simply learning to focus Fuuin chakra in her finger. W-well it wasn't just that it was a bit more complicated in that this chakra was used to create messages...IN PARTICULAR, fuuin seals or messages. The focus was so the scripture couldn't be erased when engraved into the surface of whatever she wrote on. Given her familiarity with focusing chakra into a finger tips fine point through her kugutsu practice this wasn't far from being the same as her several experiences and practices with the placement of energy before, but this time it was just using another form of chakra. Not long of in shape or element from kugutsu, but fairly something she considered adjacent in nature. With a finger dressed in the engraving jutsu's energy Miko would walk over to a pillar of the dojo and woudl look side to side before drawing a winking "emoji" with the characters for MOB and MIKO set beside it. Completing her task she'd roll up the mass of scrolls looking long off to Hono to see if he'd completed his own tasks.

[ ❥ Basic Training: Performance ] [3/3]

Another had entered the area Honō and Miko had occupied and had proceeded to carry out his own practice alone. Miko had no clue as to exactly who he was but she had some inclination he might be the other party missing from her bad of misfits. though honestly she had no clue if her team were really misfits; speaking for herself Miko could claim the moniker fairly easy, but the slightly older and timid Honō was as far from a misfit as could be. Though Miko felt he had a streak in him he'd yet to achieve or even attempt to explore. Yet then again Miko still had to finish up her lesson before further inquiring into the nature of her teams personalities and their skills. Coming over to Honō first and glancing in the direction of the new comer with clear attention set on him to see if he'd been looking for her gaze as she was for his she'd take a moment before addressing Honō.
Seeing the finished writing on the scroll and Miko would smile and lean over it pouting and puffing up her cheeks as she'd look at it with a tilt of her head trying to understand it for herself since she'd taken a back seat in learning the direct coarse of kuchiyose.
"So you've got the thing all done already. You're making quick work of these scrolls Honō. Soon I won't be able to teach ya anythin. Welp, where do i sign? after we make with this one you've got one more scroll to focus on that focuses on projectiles. I'm not super familiar with it but i crossed it in my reading before in here. "

Honō's assignment: - Kuchiyose • Tobidougu [ Projectile Weapons ]
Official Description: Kuchiyose • Tobidougu is a Ninjutsu summoning technique utilized by the Leaf ninja TenTen. TenTen specializes in throwing projectile weapons. To enable her to carry more weapons, she will store them in a summoning scroll. When needed she can unwrap the scroll and summon whatever weapon she needs.
Guild Description: See official description. Requires: C-rank training in Kaifū, and Kuchiyose. Usable only with the Small Weapons category. Draws in the chakra required for the future summoning, as well as preventing the fuuin from activating due to mis-swiping the ink. As such, no chakra is needed to use this after preparation. After learning, is automatically applied to wanted Kaifū.

((W00T pre-chakra set for release Kaifu...well if you also get the seal connection jutsu, but We'll work on that after reverse summoning also goes onto the kuchiyose list you get.))

Honō Hokori
[ "A shinobi who succumbs to their nature is a shinobi lesser than I." ]

So it was witnessed...
The relaxed slope of Honō's shoulders dissapeared under a tense line at a new individual's arrival. His dark, practical clothes and elegantly stitched scarf were in complete opposition to Honō's own outfit. Even with Miko speaking in his ear, the Hari clan member was obviously put on edge, unable to concentrate on his task with the quiet swings of a blade nearby. He didn't say anything, simply placing the scroll Miko was asking after on the edge of the table next to her before his trembling hand gingerly retrieved the one he needed to study next. Pale digits unraveled the scroll, taking the time to perfectly center it before him, smoothing out the already pristine paper. Honō kept his head bowed, appearing to be reading, bar the steadiness of his gaze, and the way his spine would constrict and try to bow even further upon himself at the slightest whisper of the new arrival's blade. Still, even after the sounds finished, and whatever intent it was behind them, Honō had difficulty escaping the thought of being watched - or worse; floudering in front of this stranger.

With a deep breath, he forced himself to at least start trying to retain the information. Honō's overly alert self consciousness caused him to misinterpret parts of the text, delaying his progress. It was also a source of frustration, being aware of this impedment. With a sigh, he stopped paying attention to the paper and just... stopped. Breathe in, breathe out, and read. An alteration on the basic Kaifu. Okay. This one specialised in the sealing and summoning of weapons. Understood. Most specifically, on smaller weapons; projectiles. Alright. Yes. Even Honō, in his highly limited knowledge of battle tactics and expereince, could see how he would find that useful. Right.
                                [ 4/5 ]

Honō pulled over a blank piece of paper and copied out the sealing symbol. With the ink allowed enough time to dry, Honō pulled out his only kunai - only to pause. He blinked, placed down the kunai, and reached for the folds of his hakama once more, only to pull out four, small, black eggs of glass. Gingerly, he placed them down with the kunai, making sure they would not roll away, before placing his fingertips to the paper and closed his eyes. He sealed away the items via Funyu - he unleashed a rush of breath, the slim digits of his fingers twitching slightly at the cost to his energy. Pushing through it, he summoned on his chakra once more, focusing. Honō Slumped forward slightly, a small smile gently nudging the corner of his mouth when only the kunai reappeared. He did it.
                                [ 5/5 ]

Honō couldn't stop the shakiness of his breathing now, his muscles aching and the emptyness in his chakra reserves leaving room for anxiety to fill in its stead.

A Natural's Touch Hari Clan Black Glass Mentality
Chakra: 120/210
Stamina: 120/210

Other
CanoodlingFlibbertyJibbit

Aspects

Just after he finished with his warming up, Soraru found himself wanting to refresh himself up on some old techniques. Little things he used a long time ago to give him the edge in fights against his mentor. He briskly moved over to one end of the library, pressing his back to a bookshelf as chakra channeled in his feet. When he launched himself, his movement was instantaneous, body phasing out from one point and reappearing on the other side of the room, something that wasn't even Shunshin, but instead the manipulation of his Hakemoto bloodline. The technique it branched from, Dash of Six Feet, focused on building up chakra into six kicks to harm the enemy. His own Dance of Six Steps focuses that chakra into movement rather than strength, and allowed him to move at a speed that was arguably faster than Shunshin, but without the range of it, only able to span five meters.
[ Technique Name: Dance of Six Steps Rank: C ] [2/2 Learned]
[ ❥ Intermediate Training: Performance ] [2/4]

After performing that technique, he looked at the shelf behind him and moved some books aside to grab the scroll he took with him, placing it there. The next Tetsu no Ryu skill he had to learn made him gulp a bit, as the possibility of breaking his dearest weapon frightened him. Deciding not to carry through with it all the way, he practiced with a normal chakra scabbard forming around his weapon rather than forcing it into the blades ridges and lifted it over his head, before dropping it down in a hard overhead swing in an open area. Anything that would've gotten in his way, even without the rigid workings would've been cleaved from such a strike.
[ Hachiware [ Helmet Breaker ] Rank: B ] [1/1 Learned]
[ ❥ Intermediate Training: Performance ] [3/4]

Following the strike, he crouched down to force the momentum to a halt before launching himself forwards, shifting between one handed and two handed strikes, building up the chakra within him until he ended up in his own personal sword stance, one leg forward, knees bent, right hand holding the blade being drawn back while the blade was held in a reverse grip. He bent his body forwards slowly as his arm was drawn back like a bowstring, body slightly turned to the right to build more torque. When he finally released the stance, it was with an incredibly fast, left arcing horizontal right cut. While the blade was already a deadly threat, the chakra scabbard followed through like a ghost, an extra blade of said chakra attacking in the same direction just a moment after his strike.
[ Two As One Rank: B ] [1/1 Learned]
[ ❥ Intermediate Training: Performance ] [4/4 Learned]

Following the strike, his body continued with the momentum to turn left and twirl at 180 degrees. Stopping the momentum of his right arm by pressing his left against the pommel of his katana, the blade pointed straight outwards, and he shifted the grip in his hand to go back to a normal stance rather than reverse. Another step forwards indicated another attack as he extended his blade in a powerful stab. It wasn't the main blade that was the issue though. From five different angles came five different, larger blades of chakra that all stabbed towards the imaginary target in front of him, striking in tandem with him.
[ Many as One Rank: A ] [1/1 Learned]
[ ❥ Intermediate Training: Meditate ] [1/5]

Another technique down, yet for him it felt as easy as breathing. Years of training back in the Iron country had definitely paid off, as his affinity in samurai styles demonstrated clearly. Tucking his blade by his let hip in a resting stance, he let the tip point towards the ground hands gripping tightly on the hilt while he slowly exhaled. In his mind he imaged a gentle midday breeze, before it began to quicken and grow into a typhoon, and finally it evolved to a ferocious hurricane in his mind. When he raised his blade up and extended it outwards in front of him, he saw that it was coated in fuuton chakra, the air whipping and encircling it rapidly.
[ Divine Scabbard Rank: A ] [1/1 Learned]
[ ❥ Intermediate Training: Meditate ] [2/5]

Taking his katana, he allowed the fuuton chakra to whip and crackle around his blade menacingly as he sheathed it in its scabbard. Then came a moment of silence around him, as he shut his eyes and focused, putting one leg in front of the other, bending his body forwards while his right hand remained gripping the hilt on his left side, the opposite hand holding tightly only the scabbard. Then as swiftly as the wind which swirled around his blade, he drew the katana, sliced outwards with the killing power of Hachiware, and sheathed the sword instantly again right after to avoid any damage to the blade, It would be the deadliest technique in his arsenal for some time to come, or at least until he accepted the path of Ronin. Swift, lethal, with the raging power of the wind behind it.
[ Iaigiri [ Iai Beheading ] Rank: A ] [1/1 Learned]
[ ❥ Intermediate Training: Meditate ] [3/5 Learned]

Once he was finished with that, he walked on over to the scroll depository for the academy within the library, pulling out the first scroll which came to Genjutsu, which, of course, was Cloud. Opening it he read through on whichever piqued his interest, which happened to be the cloud watching technique. If he could incorporate the similar words required into a song, it would be easy. The difficult thing about Genjutsu normally was not knowing how others would react to it or if one was even doing it correctly, something nulled by Soraru's little quirk. Closing his eyes, he repeated the words. "The clouds are so nice and free..." It was a gentle whisper, but the feeling of his body being lifted off the ground as he kept his eyes closed was enough to know that it was an easy success. When he opened them, he did so with a smile on his lips. It would take some more training, but he thought he could really nail the whole Genjutsu and chakra control thing down, although he evidently channeled it more when he wielded a blade in his hand.
[ Kumo Yotogi [ Cloud Watching ] Rank: D ] [1/1 Learned]
[ ❥ Intermediate Training: Meditate ] [5/5 Learned]

While he did want to continue training, he got himself distracted by looking at the tall kid again, noting both the type of technique he was learning and the audible shaking in his breathing. Was he nervous over something? It kind of reminded himself of when he first started his training a long time ago, but he felt like the rasoning was different. A fear of swords? Social anxiety? Soraru's natural curiosity began to take over.. Although he told himself not to in his mind due to his own social problems, he approached the boy, becoming aware of all the fuuin and scrolls. "You know, eventually the shaking and nervousness will stop. Training becomes second nature eventually, but I still remember my start. Heh...thinking 'am I doing this right, how many times should I do this, are others looking, am I good enough, if I make a mistake, will they tell me?' If you have any of those thoughts, you should keep a few. Being too aware of how you're doing is better than being not aware at all. You notice more mistakes." That much was true, despite the amount of lies he usually spewed. A higher ranked trainer would usually point out mistakes, but that's not always needed when one is hyper aware of the ones that they're making on their own.

Then came a bit of a sheepish smile, hand moving to his own cheek to scratch for a moment in a bit of embarrassment before moving to the nape of his neck to rub there. "Ah, umm...and if my moving around and waving swords are a distraction, I apologize. I'll be working on Genjutsu and Ninjutsu in a moment anyways, so you don't need to worry about it any longer. If it helps with forgiveness, here. Came his words, as he extended his hand from across the desk, the sheepish smile turning into a sincere one. "Soraru Hiraite of Tsukihara Hana." A legitimate extension of kindness, but not so much friendship. In the front of his mind, he assumed that the boy was on his team, so it wouldn't do if he was just always nervous and wondering what his teammates thought about him. Which means I should introduce myself to the girl too after this. He thought, not forgetting the apparent user of puppetry. It seemed that they had a user of seals, a long range combatant, and himself, who would likely serve as both a distraction and a frontline fighter. Not a bad group to toss together, but he hoped they could become at least somewhat comfortable with one another first. He had to learn their personalities, what they liked, disliked, and where they were from. The latter for his own personal purpose, but the others for the betterment of the team.

Miko would notice the bundle of nerves the already markedly shy, Honō Hokori seemed to devolve back into his shell in the presence of the practicing swordsman. Miko would find a eat and simply let Honō work on things as it seemed like he was most cable in just bowing his head down low into the scrolls to escape the thoughts or whatever feeling that was beat into him to make him so jumpy. Taking to a chair and raising her feet up on another Miko would imply watch as the other rather sharply dressed "young-man" (given her age difference from the two) would seem to notice and interject himself into Honō's somewhat regimented anxiety attack. Miko wasn't really the type to always have a good word of advice. Her ego and personality over bared a voice that sometimes seemed too aloof or arrogant to console others. Though maybe out of necessity or him seeing something in her that others seldom saw Honō had found some comfort in Miko's presence.

Though most of that seemed to go out the window with this new guy. Miko would simply watch as he'd give Honō a little pep talk, but the main point she'd focus on was his name.
"Soararu! Hehe, welcome! Thought you'd never show up. Though that wouldn't be the first time I've had that happen to me. Anyways seems you boys are on a roll, So! Honō introduce your self with all titles and what not your clan might have and then I'll fill ole blue eyes there on what this squads about. Though, just from lookin ya seem ta have some considerable skill"
Kicking back in her seat and stretching out and pointing at Soraru as she said this Miko would try and mull over somethings in her mind she wanted to build and work on the practical concepts of. Though she hadn't had a chance to gather her own tools and forge to work with.

Tilting her head back toward the pair Miko would interject one more bit of information before letting the two get more familiar with one another.
"Oh yeah~, I forgot to say that I'm the squad leader. You can call me Miko or MOB, it's a thing I've been thinking about trying on as a nickname. But anyways I'll be here to teach or help you guys get up to speed on some skills for the mission assignment that we're essentially on standby for. Lets hear a lil'ditty about what makes you you if you'd care to share. Makes for the team work thing running a lot more smoothly. Honō since you were first in my squad yo go first and break some of that frosty ice."

Honō Hokori
[ "A shinobi who succumbs to their nature is a shinobi lesser than I." ]

So it was witnessed...
Despite the bowed head and unfocused gaze, Honō was very much aware of the figure in the corner of his vision suddenly turning to approach him. The Hari clan member tried to steady his breathing, his head body curling in on itself slightly without him even realising. The first line of words from Soraru was met with the side of Honō's head. It truly took him that long to believe the other male was talking to him, or even to settle his nerves enough to look up. Still, Honō could not keep his gaze, pale cheeks flushed and embarassed green eyes turning to the side. He truly was so transparent...? He shouldn't be so surprised. The thought caused a look of self-dissapointment to cross Honō's fine features.

"No, it's fine." Honō breathed in, trying to pull his shoulders up. "It's something I should get used to, now." He added. Despite the obvious look of nerves, he was somehow able to keep his voice calm, if not a little more subdued than normal. And, truly, he does need to get used to it now. And he had just spent the last few years believing he wouldn't... Honō blinked, spine straightening under Miko's exclamation of the new arrival's name. Soraru Hiraite - the silver-haired male opened his mouth suddenly, shock now mixing in with his embarassment. "N-no," He gasped. Feeling awkward sitting at the desk and in between Miko and Soraru, Honō hesitantly stood. "No titles." He clarified, stepping out of the way, a few more steps off to the side than would be necessary. 'Ole blue eyes?' Miko had called Soraru, and Honō wanted to look at the other male to see just how blue they are to be even noteworthy, yet couldn't form the courage with it being pointed out so recently. As if looking someone in the eye is something to be ashamed of.

Honestly, he just needed a moment to breathe... And being put on the spot again didn't help! Miko sensei... Honō pleaded silently, head bowed. If Miko wanted someone to 'break the ice' then she shouldn't have lead with him. Honō bowed to Soraru, hands clasped before him.

"Honō Hokori, of the Hari clan." He began, voice sounding a little strained. Honō still couldn't look the other male in the eye. "... I'm afraid I've... uhm. I've only recently been brought into service as a Genin for Kumo." Honō could still feel a small tremble in his hands, so he tightened his grip. He has never used so much chakra in a single time before, and the drain on his body was too new. It... wasn't something he felt comfortable sharing. He was already worried he had no earned the disdain of his teammate by his obvious lack of experience - or strength.

Aspects
