Gorm's anger could be felt, his aura was present, challenging Bronius. "They are below me, I can order them if I please." His tone was measured, but the intent was clear. If it was an act of swatting a Robert - or a fly if you wished to throw him a more difficult target - he'd have crushed Bronius. But no, there was no such simplicity in a sage facing another sage.

"You really need to calm-" Wayne was rubbing the back of his neck when the shockwave cut him off. He staggered, quickly grabbing the experience share device that he had on his head to stop it from falling off.
The trees were yawning under the sudden strain. Their branches twisted over to one side, away from the epicentre of the explosion, swaying like hundreds of spindly arms from the pressure of the following waves. The light was thick and hot, orange and hard to see through as dirt and grass was picked and pulled up from the park and flown through the air.
Wayne staggered to stop himself from falling over, hands still on his head, stance wide and body bowed. He realised what Henrietta was doing in time to do something about it. He shouted up at his pokémon:
Electro Ball was huge, a good fifteen feet in diameter. How the hell had such a tiny bug managed to...? No, forget it. They could still counter this!
"PSYSHOCK!" Wayne yelled over the roar of the shockwaves, each one battering him, threatening to crush him to the ground, "DO IT NOOOOOW!"
Solosis righted himself after being rocked in the air. He spotted Socant's attack through the gale and Wayne's order came in loud and loud. While his power was already huge, something else was bolstering it. Something new. And his release of Psyshock looked like something from the gods.
If a weak Psywave caused a weak Electro Ball to explode. This was... The collision of the two attacks could've wiped either one of them out. Wayne wished he could fly to get Solosis out of there. In his own sudden helplessness, he found anger. And in that split second he realised that if they could just push one bit more...
"YOU CAN DO IT! GO SOLOSIS!"
The light of the blast masked both pokémon. Solosis was screaming. Wayne couldn't hear it but he knew. He could feel his pokémon's strain, his need to win. And he could feel something change.
((Posting in the morning was a bad idea. Gonna be late thanks to you sons of guns.
I kid, it's my fault.))

Calm down?! No! Henrietta could feel it. She was standing on the edge of a cliff. She had been for so long it felt like. One more step and she'd fall.
But now she could see it. So high up, the clouds at eye level. She was level with the sky. This was it, the end. The pinnacle, the edge. If she calmed down here, she was going to fall. Plummet to the pitiful wastelands of the bottom - a place she'd struggled so hard to climb out of already.
If she pushed, just a little more, grasped that power she could feel at the edge of her being, she could fly from this cliff.
Soar into new heights.
Her hand reached out, trying to physically grasp what she could mentally feel.
"I've always fought against these odds! I'll win, because of my effort!"
Her fingers closed. She could feel it, it wasn't just a bond between her and that power, she could feel Socant. Feel his location, a bond between them. It wasn't like understanding him on a level that N could, not to say that it was a tower of understanding with various floors.
No, it was like a different method. A sort of power. Not his. Hers. There was a bond of power between them, and Henrietta was funneling it all inward. That's where that power had come from.
The explosion of energy, the dust, the matter of trees splintered and broken obscuring the battleground, the result.
"Socant!" she called out to him. Not in desperation, but with a tone fitting a trainer. Authority - not over his being but over the strategy. She felt, through this bond, that Socant could understand this.
As the dust settled, there was no tiny bug in that silhouette.
Socant had evolved.
Her fingers had grasped it, that power.
The electricity of it, the crackling.
Incredible.
Socant stared at Solosis', or where the opponent should be. He could feel two energies within him, two different elements. It was different than the sensation of trying to feel the electricity he kept in sacs - it was like an entity on a different level. He himself in two forms. Electricity and Bug. Elements of his soul.
It felt amazing.
"Let's end this, Wayne."
Speaking of finality.
Speaking like the superior one.
Socant could feel that emotion. Where he'd saw something potentially hopeless, trusting that Henrietta's lack of order had some form and function, some reasoning. Confidence. Pride.
Alright, he'd pull from the elements. The bug energy, a quick shot, fast paced. It wasn't manipulation, it was simply easier access to something he could've done all along if he'd found it before.
Signal Beam fired.

"Alright," Wayne said. He tore the destroyed Experience Share from his head and tossed it to one side. When it was done clattering it was obvious that the shockwave had fried it; aside from the smell of cooked circuit boards, it was smoking.
"Duosion," the trainer took a step forward and the newly evolved pokémon came into view from the subsiding explosion of power. "You heard the lady! Let's kick her a**!"
As Socant fired Signal Beam, Duosion brought up a "Light Screen!" to catch the attack and slow it down. He made to zoom below the action and out of Signal Beam's way. Given Socant's proximity to its own attack, it wouldn't be able to clearly see Duosion's movements; once the psychic was visible, it'd already be firing a 3x effective "Psyshock!", which raced towards the airborne spider like a bolt of lightning.
If it'd hit, it'd be all that was needed to remove the fragile bug from the battle. Luckily the pokémon was so big now; it'd be an easy target. Unless it had specially trained its reaction times against Duosion's Psyshock like Hitmonlee had anyway.

That's what trainers were for. Henrietta was watching the battle instead of Wayne now.
Yeah, this is a good feeling.
A confident smirk was on her face. Duosion's movements could escape Socant but not Henrietta's eyes. "Up! Stringshot !"
((since it's not stated, it's just an insert line for wherever Duosion is, since Henrietta can see him.))
Socant was in the air, over the powerful Psycho Shock. The tingling of it passing over, it wasn't unlike his own electricity.
The string shot fired off toward Duosion. If it landed Socant would tug it, attempting to force Duosion toward him to bring the fight to a physical level.
It helped that, despite Duosion's statistical increase, Socant was still three times faster than him, possibly four with Duosion's speed having been lowered previously.

I He made to zoom below the action and out of Signal Beam's way. ((Clearly said which direction he was moving rolleyes razz )) Socant hadn't learned from last time, apparently. Attempting to ensnare Duosion with String Shot would only slow the bug down when it came to evading the psychic's counterattack. And as already stated, String Shot would lower Duosion's rolling speed, but do little to impair his Self-Telekinesis, which ran off his psychic power. And as has been stated many times, that power is currently enormous. So with Socant swinging over his Psyshock, (presumably he was swinging, unless he has wings, which he doesn't) he'd require a moment to orient himself to face Duosion. A moment was all Wayne needed to order "Telekinesis!" and Duosion, who was easily able to track his opponent's movements throughout all this, would fire off the telekinetic energy wave. As before, if Socant were to trade String Shot, which Henrietta and he seem to believe is doing something, for Telekinesis, the bug pokémon would frozen in the air. If this were to happen, Wayne would immediately order a "Psyshock!" that would jolt out and obliterate the pokémon. If Socant avoided Telekinesis, then Wayne would quickly command "Psyshock!" anyway. Unless Socant were to suddenly gain a boost of momentum (I assume that hes at the peak of his swing because that would be the point where it's easiest to aim) then the psychic blast would crack into his underside and blow him up. ((I could be a d**k and point out that the huge increase in bodily proportions would likely disorientate Socant until he gets used to his new form, but I won't.))

((I apologize for my lack of self control - even if I realize its lacking. Too stressed out to not respond to things in a mean way. Spent like, all of my day in varying amounts of pain, even with my pills.
Also, I'm out of smokes.))
The problem with the plan was that a self-telekinesis doesn't actually last forever. One had to renew it - a feat that Solosis had never done more than the first time. In other words, it was already a feat in and of itself that the technique had lasted as long as it had.
But there was a point where one typist would call the other on a perceived thing like that.
The total of arms meant that, with a speed that Duosion simply could not match, the Pokemon could be instantly tugged over. It's weight and the distance, even with Socant having telekinesis, would be at such a minimal level that Duosion - despite its Calm Mind - would either need to fix itself, fire the attack, or push Socant away with enough force to outmatch the force it was being dragged out.
Which was the point of turning each point on the string, to mean that pushing Socant held no value, as the string would be shortened to a point where, within the previously stated time frame of 'pretty much no time at all' Duosion would be caught within melee range.
If Duosion used its own self-telekinesis, it wouldn't matter, the string would be shortened to an arms length in that time, if only because of the reaction speed of Socant - being that he can both strike first and move faster(at least by game mechanics) - prior to Duosion have its self-telekinesis.
Finally, the third option, Duosion fire Psycho Shock. Socant couldn't last it, couldn't survive it.
However, the time frame of the first two, and Henrietta's determination for the third gave Socant a last motion. The third option took them out of the battle, but not before, and even as he succumb to the wound, Socant would bring down his arms(or he would simply do this for the first two options), one after the other.
Fury Cutter, with each passing arm doubling in ferocity, should the last one hit.
((Right, once again I apologize. I'll refrain from being a d**k and pointing out that suddenly having two brains should at least do something to you psychologically, it's a bit bigger than super calming your mind.))

((Get Ready for Luka's Gym Battle Part 2! The shockwaves will appear in Part 3, because it will make more sense there.)) In unison, Luka and Burgh released their Pokémon. It was now Dwebble versus Squirt. Time for Round 2. This should be an easy victory, after all, Luka had a major type advantage. "Aqua Jet!" "Smack Down." As Squirt charged towards the Dwebble he was thwarted mid air by the Smack Down. He crashed into the floor and send some of the floor panels into the air. "Ancient Power" The Dwebble was still in the air and had no hope of avoiding the huge rocks that were thrown at it. It was a sitting Ducklett, so to speak. "Withdraw and Rock Polish." The Dwebble crawled into its shell and its shell seemed to glint as it became more and more aerodynamic. The rocks hit it, but since it had withdrawn it didn't seem to be that bothered other than being tossed around a little. Squirt sort of growled before launching another Aqua Jet to meet the Dwebble before it landed. He wasn't fast enough and was treated to another Smack Down. The Dwebble's speed had increased and now Squirt was at a disadvantage. A really quick and small target? It was like trying to blow up a moving needle in a haystack. Squirt simply wasn't that refined with his aim and it was only now that Luka realised this. Squirt had never really bothered about aiming, he just sort of pointed in what he thought was the right direction and hoped for the best. "Squirt, wait for it to come closer and then Crunch." Burgh laughed so loudly that the room seemed to shake. "Begin." The Dwebble did something, but Luka couldn't tell what it had done. Then the Dwebble charged in to use Bug Bite on Squirt's tail. Squirt span around quick enough to catch the Dwebble red-handed and Crunched down hard on the bug Pokémon's face. It was small enough to fit in his mouth and Squirt could have eaten the Dwebble were he inclined to eat them, but, he wasn't and this was someone's friend. The Dwebble's rock began the glow brightly. Squirt was momentarily blinded and he let go of the Dwebble. Luka's eyes widened in horror as he realised what the Dwebble had done. "SQUIRT! GET OUTTA THERE!" Squirt couldn't see, but he hastily tried to Aqua Jet away from the Dwebble. Being blinded, he crashed into one of the honeyed walls. He was trapped. The Dwebble crawled up to him and a mad glint was in its eyes. "Solarbeam." Squirt didn't stand a chance. He was trapped. The move was quadruple effective against him. He fainted before the beam ended. Luka felt a tear run down his cheek. "Squirt..." Burgh recalled the Dwebble. "Still as naive as ever. You still rely too heavily on brute force. You need to be tactical about these things. If you don't learn, you will never improve and you will never beat me. Looks like it is one all. Are you ready for the final battle?" "Come back buddy." Luka recalled Squirt and he held the ball close to his chest for a moment. "We'll win it, don't you worry Squirt." He looked at Burgh with a steely determination. "We're ready and we're going to take you down." "Will you now?" Burgh walked slowly back to his painting. "I've heard a rumour at the Pokémon Centre that no trainer should ever take on my gym between two and five in the afternoon. Do you know why?" Luka shook his head. "No, I don't." "It's because.... She is awake." From up on a balcony ((Which I have now just invented for the sake of a set piece)), a cloaked figure could be seen. It vaulted over the railing and slowly landed on the ground in front of Burgh. The figure tore of its cloak to reveal a Leavanny with a blank glare on her face. Luka didn't want to try out Misa just yet, she hadn't had any training yet. That just left one Pokémon to take on the Leavanny. Tayla. It would be Swadloon Vs. Leavanny. But who would win? It was impossible, wasn't it? ((To Be Continued... Later this evening if I can be bothered. XD))

((There's not actually a time limit on Self-Telekinesis, since it's way easier than keeping a hold on something that doesn't want to be held, but whatever. Made the tech up, made the rules up. I also hoped you wouldn't notice the two-brain thing ninja ))
Both brains agreed that this fight needed to end now. With Socant attempting one final attack, slashing Duosion mercilessly with his claws, the psychic was pushed back. But an experienced trainer didn't panic.
"Just Recover," Wayne said with a hint of finality, "Man, you guys don't know when to quit."
Duosion began to use Recover, which restored health as Socant took it. As Self-Telekinesis hadn't cancelled, the psychic would eventually be able to pull himself away and let the burnt-out bug fall.
The psychic eventually set himself down on the grass, Recovering again as a testament to his opponent's willpower. Wayne gave Henrietta an odd look.
"What's with you today?" she was a mess but... "I don't get why you're so pissed off."
((Anyway peoples, heading out. Back later dramallama ))

(( eek NOOOOOOO!)) Zamaku Lancer and Spike wasted no Time, They both darted out of the vehicle. Lancer flailing his stuby arms, tears spraying from his eye's as he sprinted towards his long lost trainer. "Lancer!" Tk Cried as the karrablast jumped into his arms, huddling to to his chest, a Safe place. After saying some comforting words to his Pokemon, Tk returned his attention to Crofton, he wasn't through with him yet. "I slashed up your Ride, cause you didnt stop when i started yelling, assaulted you, Or when, i dunno, I WAS ON THE HOOD OF YOUR CAR!" the last part was yelled, his eye twitching in irritation. guy did this Guy get on his Nerves. Where did he get off comparing Pokemon to Car's. Please. At this point Lancer was stilling hiding his Face in Tk's Shirt, and Spike was standing to his left. The only thing hurt was his pride. The Ranger clicked his tongue and crossed his arms. “Well, how about we clock it up to a misunderstanding? I really don’t wanna get in trouble with the boss.” Crofton’s eyes widened as he brought a fist down onto his open palm. “Oh, I know! How about some free RANGER LESSONS! You can learn how to be a man and get your R-R-R-RAAAANGERS DEGREE!” Crofton pumped his arm up into the air and did a Captain Morgan pose on the hood of his car. He flexed his large muscles, causing Sazu to look away and pretend she was just passing through. **** Bronius said nothing in return. Instead, he took a deep breath. Upon exhaling, a shockwave emanated around the far edges of the room, causing the objects and people near the walls to topple over. Gorm's Aura would suddenly disappear, as would anybody else's near Bronius's radius. The Sage brought his arms to his side. As he did so, a metallic shimmer could briefly be seen inside of his sleeves. "This is not up to you. Your orders are inert now. There are more important things to do. Do not let your emotions get the better of you."

[Yeah, you’ve got it now!] Chen Zhen cheered. The gem on Salem’s forehead was buzzing with a violet sparkling energy. Looking out at the expanse of water before her, the Espeon released the energy. The Psyshock attack came out like violet lightning, piercing the ocean. Salem bowed her head down while her knees buckled, and the Pansage came to her side.
[Are you okay?] [I’m fine, Chen Zhen.] She gave him a weary smile. [This is hard.] [You’re doing really well, though.] [Can we take a break?] The Espeon gave him Bambi eyes. He blushed and rubbed the back of his head, not really knowing what to say.
Synchronizing with Salem gave him insight to her hurt feelings, so he was the only one she felt she could relate to. On the other hand, Chen Zhen’s feelings for Salem were outlined to Salem as well. Even though she had warmed up to him so much, he still felt a little nervous around her.
The Espeon curled up on a towel they brought to the rock, soaking up the sun while she still could. Chen Zhen lay down next to her, using her body as a pillow. From near the docks, Wukong Blaze Bounded his way over to the two pokemon.
[This training looks real tough,] Wukong snarked as he landed. Salem giggled, and for a second Chen Zhen’s eyes bore a hole through Wukong’s head. [We’re taking a break.] [I’m learning a move we saw a long time ago, in the Dreamyard.] Salem perked her head up and looked over to Chen Zhen. [Except when that nurse’s pokemon used it, it was like a knife. Chen Zhen rolled onto his side to face her. [Is that what you wanna do with it?] Salem smiled and batted at the air with her paw. [I wanna make a claw.]
Chen Zhen started laughing, and so did Salem. Wukong stuck out his tongue in disgust. Too sweet for him. He twisted around, looking at the docks. [Have you guys seen Salieri?]
The mood was ruined by mentioning their trainer’s name. Salem shook her head and Chen Zhen’s eyes narrowed. [Don’t know, don’t care.]
Wukong snickered as he continued scanning the horizon. [You’re being awfully bitter, chimp. What did she do to you?] [It’s what she did to Salem!] Chen Zhen sat up straight, miffed. The Espeon looked away. [Why aren’t you upset about this? She’s supposed to be our leader, how could she do that?]
[She said she was sorry,] Wukong grunted with a shrug. [And sometimes it’s hard to control how you feel. Would you stop trying to look angry? It doesn’t work for you. Quit taking it so-]
He voice trailed off. On the far end of the dock was a man with spiky black hair and a ponytail. Floating beside him was Haizhe, and Liuye Dao was crouched next to him. The man held the frame of a limp girl’s body in his arms.
It was Salieri. She was covered in blood. [s**t.]
Chen Zhen looked over at the docks. His eyes grew intense when he saw the scene with his own eyes. The Pansage sprang up and jumped into the air. Two curved green arrows floated away from his palm, spinning around each other in a circle. The Recycle summoned his Air Balloon, which he stood on top of. The Pansage zipped through the air as fast as he could to reach his trainer.
[Oi! Wait up, showoff!] Wukong growled as he jumped up too, rebounding off of multiple explosions made from kicks to get back to the dock. That left Salem alone on the rock. She hesitated before narrowing her eyes, looking determined.
Salem stood up on the towel, which began to glow violet with Telekinesis. Slowly it rose up, like a Magic Carpet, and Salem followed the other pokemon back to the dock.
