My first doctor was the 9th and after him I said I would never love another doctor again, but David tennant won me over. I love the show. It can make me feel for a character and at moments blubber like a baby, so to me that makes it all worth while.

If I remember correctly, the Dr with the scarf was Tom Baker... but I could be wrong - it's been many years ago... when I was still a teen...

Hubby, the kids and I try to never miss an episode. What I wouldn't give to own every episode from the first incarnation of it to now. I remember the one with the Long scarf the best.

Eccleston was okay, he played a much darker version... But David Tennant is so smexy!

And Donna was such a fun companion, so snarky!

You must mean either Colin Baker (tall, stocky, blonde-ish curly hair, nightmare patchwork-looking coat--and often loud) or Sylvester McCoy (little guy with a hat, beige or dark brown coat, sweater covered in "??????" & umbrella with a red "?" for a handle, & a Scottish accent).

ive loved doctor who ever since i was 6 and watched the reruns on sky tv with tom baker (i so love leela!)
now...1m 23...i still watch doctor who...and have a slight obsession with torchwood..
tho i am getting slightly annoyed of the fact that EVERY shop i go in in town sells doctor who stuff now..(tho i really gotta stop buying every K9 i see!!!)

The last two Drs. of the original series were probably the worst of the lot, more to do with a decline of interest in the producer and writers than anything else. The eighth Dr. was . . . interesting. But then again he was partially a creation of Fox, who was considering buying the show at the time. Tom Baker is favorite of the whole set, all hair and teeth. And, of course Sarah Jane Smith.

I think I remember watching it when I was a teenager (so long ago) then I stopped for ages. Recently, its alot better, been enjoying it so much.
