Like Jag, Honor will grow up in a society dominated by a more militaristic viewpoint. Her mother is a Knight, her mothers closest friends are Knights..odds are her babysitters and mentors will also be Knights. Honor's life will be saturated by duty and service..she is in essence an army brat..just like Jag. Also like Jag she won't be bitter about it..in fact Honor embraces this steady and enriching environment, becoming a force of good and change in her world just as Jag has become in the Star War's universe.
And while all of this is good and grand..there is of course a darker side to this obsession with duty..what does one do when that duty is taken away from them? What does one do when forced to embrace other parts of life? Family..friends? These are question Jag had to answer and I expect that Honor will as well.
