He smiled as he wiped the tear away, "But that's just it. Don't be. I'm not going anywhere. It may be my body and my soul may be... changed, but I will still be there. I will be lost in darkness looking for my way out. Fighting off the inner darkness..." He embraced her in a hug and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

Mason wondered the same thing, "I'm not really sure. She is tied to me, but she is not part of me. Chances are that she will do what she can to get me back to normal, like you would. She will look after me and you... although you won't know it," he said smiling. He looked at the water, which Vanessa was throwing rocks into. Even though she was old, she still was like a child.

He smiled, "It would make things easier, but I'm sure she'll watch over you as she does me." Vanessa was now in his lap holding onto her stuffed animal. She was 'sleeping' although spirits don't really sleep. It made her seem more normal. He grabbed Roseaki's face in both his hands and brought her forehead to his lips and kissed it.

Roseaki smiled, she wished these moments she had with him would last forever. She thought about the first time they were with eatchother on top of the lighthouse and she showed it to Mason as he touched her.

Mason smiled, "I remember that. There will be many more of those nights." He sent a picture into her mind of them together on separate different occasions hanging out. Some included looking at the stars, eating together, enjoying each others company.

She smiled and said "i hope we do Mason, I want memories that i can treasure forever, since i never age..." she laid her had on his shoulder again and looked up at his face.

she put her arms aond his neck and hugged him "i will always be here for you..." she thought back and showed Mason the day he went after her when she fell off the cliff, she pulled him out of the water, and kissed him for the first time.
