The Gennin nodded to the Hokage before giving him a real bow. "Thank you very much, Lord Hokage." With that, the boy was out of the office of the Hokage and was headed to find wherever the Ramen Shop owner had lost his ladle. It seemed quite amusing to think of someone who almost constantly has a ladle in their hand could lose it. But he was fine with it.

The hokage sat in his chair, his spear lying across his lap, and watched as a man and a beautiful young woman entered. "Welcome to Konoha, friends, I hope your welcoming was not quite unfair. However, it was necessary to ban all outsiders until the mess of recent events has been sorted out." he said, exchanging pleasantries with both ninja. "I see, I have been fully informed of the recent incident regarding this woman, Doku Le, whom you speak of. To dispel any rumors regarding her whereabouts, she was, in fact, slain by a Jonin of our village.While I do know where her blade is being kept, I'm afraid I can't simply hand it over to you. In these...uncertain times, any and all power that can be obtained will benefit our village. The report that was given to me, regarding this matter, clearly described a unique and powerful ability. However, I could be tempted to hand it over as a sign of trust that you will speak with your respective Kage's. I wish to hold a summit, to discuss future ties and an alliance."

Continuing with his current train of thought, Wazurai spoke cooly and calmly, " As I am sure we both know, Trust is a very precious commodity in the world of the ninja. I will need something in return as a sign of your good will. Fear not, it will be returned to you upon completion of the summit, regardless of its outcome. It is my wish for this village to grow and prosper. Unfortunately, due to the actions of the previous Hokage's and the constant change in leadership, we are on a bit of a downward spiral as of late. The assistance of your respective villages would be of great help to us."

The Lord Hokage spoke, clarifying the caution. A completely understandable situation, when Doku had been involved. The monk seemed to shake his head some. "With all due respect, Lord Hokage, I do not intend to allow this weapon be used anywhere," Alzayr commented. He bit his lip in thought, as to what it could do. It drained chakra, but it wasn't of true use to those without the suiton element. "I can discuss with the Lord Mizukage of alliance, even if there is very little opportunity."

The elderly man spoke with care of the village, and it was most definitely a good thing to see. Konoha didn't deserve to be destroyed, as Doku had believed, and even though he'd failed to find her before her end, the monk gazed about the room, momentarily.

"I'm afraid without that blade, I cannot return, as it could very well be the only evidence to the renegade's demise. A drawback of sorts, to incinerating a woman made of paper," Alzayr spoke with a sigh. Either blade he kept upon him could be collateral, but Samehada was by no means, to return. "After proving that she is gone, I intend to make the blade gone, as well." Here, the monk spoke in earnest. It was a weapon most foul, and had to be returned to oblivion.

Wazurai studied the young man as he talked, noting the actions and reactions that their words had caused in the Shinobi from Kirigakure. As the young man finished, the elderly Hokage stroked his beard, before replying. "Remember this, and remember it well, if at any time there is an opportunity where the benefits outweigh the risks; you would do well to capitalize on it. In this case, the benefits of a possible alliance is more than worth the action of returning the blade to you. However, collateral always breeds a sense of urgency to a matter and this matter is indeed urgent."

Here he paused for a moment before walking over to the door, his spear acting as his walking stick. Cracking the door a bit, he whispered to the ANBU member on duty. Closing the door, he walked back to his seat and resumed his former position. Clasping his hands under his chin, Moukogawa Wazurai leaned forward and, with an air of indifference, swept aside any doubt regarding his intentions. "I care not what you do with the blade, for it will be yours to decide, but I do care about this village. Leave your collateral here, I will write a note for the Mizukage and the Raikage, and with it you will receive Samehada. Yes, I am fully aware of what blade I hold in my possession. One does not get to this age in the world of the ninja without brains to go with their brawn. An alliance between our nations would be fruitful for us all. I assume you accept the terms of this agreement, yes?" His tone of voice left the notion that his final question was meant rhetorically.

Whomever this man was, he certainly was a crafty fellow. He glanced to either of his blades, Shin'en and Tsume. Neither were something he'd wish to part with, but he sighed. Promises to his master narrowed the options considerably. Leaving the collateral was all the options he had, and as such, Shin'en was pulled from his sash, and set before the Hokage upon his desk. Expression was considerably more grim.

"This was a memento of my master. Upon leaving this with you, I vow to deliver the message to my lord, Satoshi. Upon that errand, and with a response, I shall be back," Alzayr spoke sternly, "I am certain Fuyu will be able to do just the same." There was nothing more to promise, he'd speak with the Mizukage, and regardless of the circumstances, he'd be back for the katana. It was done for himself, and for those with him.

Taking the Katana from Alzayr, Wazurai reverently placed it on the ground at his feet. Snapping his fingers, he summoned the ANBU member from outside the door. The ANBU, who's mask was a fiery orange with flames of red encroaching on the sides, entered the room in a swirl of leaves and fire. As the ashes, of what was once leaves, fell to the floor, it revealed the ANBU to be carrying a rather large case. Going down on one knee before the Kirigakure Shinobi, he placed the case on his knee and opened it. Inside lay Samehada, scorched but still in one piece, nestled in blue silk that rippled as if it were the waves of the ocean itself.

"I give you, Samehada, a blade that has made more than one valiant ninja into a monster. May it be the proof you require as well as a sign of goodwill between our villages." The elderly Hokage spoke, leaning back in his chair, "Now, allow me a brief moment to write out a message to your Kage's and you may be on your way." Pulling a quill and ink bottle from his near bottomless robe pocket, Wazurai elegantly wrote out a letter of peace and reconciliation to both the Mizukage and the Raikage. Tying them off with Green ribbon, he placed the wax seal of the Hokage upon each scroll before offering them to the Shinobi and Kunoichi. "May you have a safe journey back home and may your home be prosperous. The ANBU shall escort you out."

The Hokage's Room. Ocato stared at the door awed. He had never been here before and instinctively feared the man within. He'd heard tales of the new Hokage but had yet to see him, though the fact that he became Hokage told him many things, mostly of the strength he possessed. But other than that, Ocato was meeting a man who was essentially a stranger to him that commanded a great deal of respect, and despite the fact that Ocato knew neither who he was or what he looked like, he was going to show him that aforementioned respect regardless of what the Hokage came off as. Such was the way of things. However, the mystery surrounding this figure piqued Ocato's interest. Would he be benevolent and kind? Or would he be hardy and fierce? A mixture of both perhaps? Not that it mattered, Ocato would prefer a man who ruled with an iron fist. The village needs a strong leader. One who would make opposing villages think twice about invading. Regardless of how hard the rule may be, people would feel safe.

Taking a deep, controlled breath, Ocato stepped forward. He balled his right hand into a fist and rapped the door three times, awaiting a reply. This is the day he receives his headband. The day he becomes an official genin of the Leaf. And boy, was he excited. This did not show on his face, however, for he deemed himself too mature to show such meaningless emotions. It would progress his goals by a grand total of zero percent and that, to him, was an indication that the action would be completely and utterly worthless and did not deserve the amount of effort it would have taken to display. Ocato, however, granted himself a small smile, for pleasures sake. Happiness was a good thing after all.

After the foreign ninja had left his office for their own villages, Wazurai sat back in his chair and considered his options. I'm afraid that at this stage in the game, we are on an uneven footing with the rest of the world. We need to step up the notch and begin training our genin relentlessly. Perhaps I should call a jonin meeting. Wazurai thought to himself. However, just as he was about to continue along the same lines, his musing was interrupted by a knock on the door. "Ah, I apologize if I have kept you waiting, please come in."

Jae had made it slowly to the Hokages office, going through a million different outcomes that could result in what she had to pass along to him. As she rounded the corner hallway, she spotted someone waiting outside already. A brown haired boy had beat her to the office. Jae slowed her steps and stood a small distance away from him and the door. Jae could hear the Hokage call him in and with that she at least knew he was in now. She was starting to feel nervous. How did one say that they had been involved in a fight that resulted in the death of a shinobi from a different village on Konoha grounds? The outlook was bleak and the pink haired girl felt resigned to stand on the opposite wall from the door, waiting for her turn.

Reiko walked down the hall with his hands in his pockets,and his mask half hanging off his face. He watched the people who passed him with utmost interest,even though most of them were only civilians. It was then,as he rounded a corner,that he saw two people sitting outside the office. One a small brown haired boy who looked much too intimidated to set foot in the office even if he was invited,and anouther,a silver haired girl who was watching the boy from a little ways away. She looked positively nervous. He laughed slightly,and walked past the girl towards the door. He looked down the brown haired boy"First time? Act confident. This village needs no more sheep for the slaughter" As he finished those words he opened the door and walked slowly into the room. At the center he dropped down on one knee and laid his forearm across his chest in a sign of respect"My Lord. My training is alomost complete and I am ready to start missions,if that is you will"

Hiyato seemed to be walking down the halls as he seemed to be rather calm as usual. But when he saw a face he remember he right way went to the wall and leaned upon it right next to her. He did not say anything for a few moments until he pulled out a small box. 'You are the one I fought before right..?" he asked her as he as he didn't look at her and he seemed to be blushing a bit. 'Jae was your name right..?' he said asking another question about here.

Hiyato was not use to talking to girls and he seemed to have hard time getting his point across to her. "This is your you...." he said as he opened the box and it contained a necklace with a jade pendant shaped like a small feather. "After our spar match that time, I couldn't stop thinking about you..." he said as he seemed to be confessing to her, thought he was also her to see the kage. "Will you accept it..?" he asked her as he seemed to be waiting on her answer. He wanted to get this feeling so she understood. But with his personality and the way he was, it was rather hard.

Jae watched from where she was leaning as a oddly clothed person passed her by. He laughed as he walked past her, Jae not really understanding the reasoning behind it. Crossing her arms across her chest, she ignored it. She had other things to worry about at the moment and picking a fight was not one of them. The strangely dressed man stopped before the small brown haired Genin and began to utter a few words to him, Jae straining hard to hear what was being said. So focused on being nosy, she hadn't felt the approach of someone sliding in right next to her until the body warmth of the person washed over her. Jae snapped to attention and turned her head to look at who it was who had gotten so close to her while she was spacing out. "You are the one I fought before right..? Jae was your name right..?" The pink haired Kunoichi stared blankly at the Hyuuga who was called Hiyato. The last time she had spoken with him he had done damage to her ribs in their spar. That spar seemed so long ago. Jae looked away from him, staring at the door as the man from earlier opened it and entered."Hey Hyuuga, it's been awhile." She said, her tone very subdued despite her personality. It was quiet for a bit, Hiyato was doing something but Jae couldn't make it out from the corner of her eye. She turned her head to look at him again, her sea green gaze dropping to the box he was getting ready to open up."This is your you..." Jae raised her brow, curious as to what it was he was doing exactly. He proceeded to open the box, a small necklace was nestled inside of it comfortably. The adorning piece that hung of the thin chain was shaped like a feather that glowed a brilliant green color. Jae had never seen a piece of jewelry like that before and couldn't help but stare down at it. "After our spar match that time, I couldn't stop thinking about you. Will you accept it..?"

Looking up at him she gave him a curious look. It was beyond her. Why in the world would he be thinking about her? Especially after she had almost skewered him with her sword. Not only did that baffle the pink haired girl but he was giving this pretty piece of jewelry to her on that note. Maybe he feels bad for the rib shot? She guessed. The sentiment was over the top but at least he was trying, not that she blamed him for her injuries. He had done less damage to her than Shigeru had. Thinking about Shigeru brought her spirits down once again. Jae looked away from Hiyato and stared down at the necklace. "It's very pretty but I don't think I can accept this. If you are trying to apologize for the outcome of the fight it's unnecessary. A spar is designed for injury. If you hadn't gone full force I wouldn't have forgiven you. Not only that but I really don't think something that pretty fits my lifestyle. More than likely I'll break it. I seem to break everything else on my body." Jae smiled at him, trying to muster as much cheer as she could. Reaching into the box, she pulled the necklace out and inspected it a lot more closely. It really is pretty."You should try giving this to a girl who can wear something this pretty." She mused, trying to imagine what type of female would fit such a pretty thing. It was not an over the top type of piece which made it even more beautiful because of that. Placing it back in the box she made sure to be careful not to bang it into the sides.

Walking silently down the halls leading towards the Hokage's office Shigure sighed quietly as he walked slowly with his placed firmly in the pockets of his cargo styled black pants. Noticing two people standing in the hallway, seemingly talking to each other. Walking to the large door leading to the Hokage's office Shigure rapped upon the door slowly before placing his hand back in his pocket. Looking back at the two talking he gave a small smile before facing towards them. "Excuse me, but are you two waiting to see the Hokage? I would hate to intrude before you two can fulfill your time needed with him." His voice was soft, yet still held a good amount of "nobility" as he smiled warmly at the two. He half expected them to think he was a girl..and hoped truthfully that they did not think that..he was getting sick of it. Even though he looked..and sometimes acted like a girl didn't mean that he was one..but no one noticed his slightly maleish muscles through his cargo pants, showing he worked his lower body a good amount. "Unless of course..you two are just standing around flirting with each other and in that case fully understand and will go in when allowed ahead of you." His eerie yet "sexy" smile as some called it was still firm on his face as his violet eye's stared at the two, idly he wondered how strong the two were.
