She had always made sure he was eating something or had eaten...without her, he really was pathetic "I don't know. I can't remember when I last even thought about food..." he stood and gripped the bag he'd left on the table, throwing it over the back of the couch to fall out of sight "I suppose you're right..." he nodded that he would lock up after Kaileer.[✠]

Maybe if I could convince him to take care of himself first, he would be able to handle the situation a bit better and completely lose it when he met with Jae. That was my hope, anyway. And it was a big hope. I didn't want to interfere with whatever it was the two of them had to figure out, even if I did still need to stand on the sidelines. With that in mind, I led the way out of the apartment. So much for sleeping, but I was fine with this.

[✠]Pausing as he walked down the street, Samuru listened to the overhead announcement, frowning Kinpaku stepped down as Kage...and Kaileer is now the Raikage? he looked at the street for a moment, thinking. He was tired of being nice but it appeared he would need to be polite one more time. Turning on his heel, he started back towards the office.

Yuka lazily walked up each staircase with little efforts to pick up her feet. Reaching her apartment door she dug into her jacket pulling out her keys. Unlocking the door Yuka walked inside closing the door behind and locking it back up. It had been a day or two since being here and it felt wonderful the apartment was cleaned and tightened up just how it was left. Slipping off her sandal's. and placing her bag down. Yuka walked over to her couch and flopped on it softly. She was so tired she didn't bother to get out of her dirty cloths. Within a few minute's she fell asleep.

Rising her head up head up sluggishly. Yuka sleepily stumbled to her feet wiping her eyes alittle. Letting out a soft yawn her hair scattered all over her back and front in a mess. She walked into her bathroom and preformed her morning routine like usual. A few minutes passed as she walked out fresh and clean with her new pair of cloths on. Walking into her kitchen Yuka rumbled through her cupboards until a noticeable black cloud in the sky caught her attention." That is a lot of smoke...." Yuka said quickly making her way to her door. She placed her sandals on and rushed out the door in a hurry to find out what was going on. [Exit]
Despite the efforts of those helping out in the plaza, flames spread into the residences, lighting one of the buildings on fire. Should it not be stopped soon, it would spread again. As soon as people saw smoke, they began to evacuate, but it was entirely possible people slept in their apartments, and most, in their panic, didn't consider checking every door.

Hanna ran to the residential district and started to bang on every door. Fire! Everyone needs to get out now. Fire scared her a little as it was one of her bloodline's weaknesses, but she needed to protect the village, right? Or she could let people burn. Hanna shook her head, no! Kaileer had been nothing but nice to her. She wouldn't let the village down. Hanna figured it was as good a time as any to learn her suiton techniques. She would give the people a moment to get free before she started on her hand signs. Why did it have to take so many? She knew water had to be in the residential district and the jutsu would pull from wherever it could. With the string of handseals finished the water would rise into a column to fight off the fire and push it back. {Suiun Suishi no Jutsu [ Water Transport Dispatch Formation Technique Learned}Hanna shook her head fighting off the voice telling her to just let them burn. She couldn't do that. Couldn't, and wouldn't.
[✠]Samuru didn't give two ******** about this village and he reminded himself of that as he raced headlong into the burning residential area. Nope, didn't care about any of them...except the one person who he owed at least a little of his self respect to. He still had his bag thrown over his shoulder from leaving the academy and the repaired chain was heavy. He knew where Hanza and his wife lived but getting there would be the issue. Skidding to a stop, Samuru felt a moment of tight chested despair as he looked down the street. The entire area was burning, trees falling into houses, the smoke making him cough and gag before he pulled his collar up over his nose "...Hanza..." he ground his teeth together and started forward, moving cautiously but quickly. Hanza's house was on the middle left of the street and while they should have evacuated, he knew that it might not have been possible. Hanza's wife, Ezo, was a cripple. She couldn't leave her house and Hanza always lamented that he wasn't strong enough to carry her "Hanza!" Samuru shouted as he neared the house, driven to a stop by the heat from the house just before the old man's.[✠]

With the presence of water, the air filled with steam and smoke as fire hissed and spat in rebellion against the liquid, but it seemed to be having an effect. The flames were pushed back and beginning to be contained, but it would take a few more attempts to stop the flames completely.

Flames engulfed the building Samuru had sprinted headlong toward, spitting out of the windows and threatening to catch the building beside it on fire as well. As he slowed to a stop before the heat of the burning, a shadow grabbed him by the midsection and dragged him away from the house just before its supporting beams gave out and it collapsed in on itself. Were anyone still inside, the likelihood they were still alive was slim to none. The shadow released Samuru once they were well away from the flames, revealing itself to be an ANBU wearing a fox mask. "That direction is no longer safe. No one answered when we searched."
[✠]Seeing the building begin to fall, Samuru started forward but an arm around his midsection yanked him off his feet. He could only watch, barely, as the house collapsed. When the Anbu released him, his legs didn't support him and he fell back onto his backside. No one answered. That could mean anything. They couldn't because of smoke, they were trapped, they were unconscious, anything. He ran his hands up through his hair, gripping it as he watched the whole area burn "...fine." he said watching from under his bangs.[✠]

Hanna would once again do the string of handseals and direct the water towards the flames. She looked back when she heard some commotion and saw the rude one from earlier, looking at a collapsing house. Were there people still inside? Hanna stopped the flow of water after dousing most of the area and went to collapsed house. She gathered her chakra and starting from the middle creating a dome of diamond from the middle of the house to the edges. It was more heat resistant and could block the flames while being strong enough to hold and lift the debri. She left an opening for Samuru large enough for him. I will leave an opening for you to go through and search for your friends, if you wish. If not, this will keep things from falling on them, and the fire from getting to them Hanna then ran back to the areas she knew were evacuated and took a deep breath. She planted her feet apart and gathered her chakra within herself. Take it in. Push it out. She could do this. Would this make her chakra be pretty low? Yes. Did she care? No. She had to stop this fire. She took another deep breath and pushed the gathered chakra outward. She concentrated and at 20 meters the pulse would stop and begin to crystallize. All into diamond of course. Block the fire, keep it from moving. Hanna took another deep breath in and let the wall connect creating a circle around the evacuated areas. She then pushed everything upwards to connect in the middle for a dome about 2 inches thick of diamond rested over the buildings. Suffocating the flames, so that not everything was a drenched mess. Why hadn't she done this before? People. Hanna shook her head and started humming, keeping the voice that was telling her to let everyone burn at bay.

-----Air whistling past the speeding giant whipped his silver hair behind his head, tangling it like tendrils of zephyrs dancing in the air. The roar in his ears, the stinging of his eyes, this was a thrill that he'd never get tired of, never stop performing. Massive strength came with its own benefits, and in this case, that meant flying. Behind him, Zangai tailed like a puppy on a leash, pulled forward by Wanryoku's weight due to the technique he'd used reducing the monstrous wrecking ball's titanic weight to air itself. Elation was the only feeling that came through that bond, but then, his brother always did love the thrill of speed and flight. Of course, the only flight he'd experienced in his prior life had been freefalling from a mountaintop to land as a shock trooper in the midst of an army's cavalry armed with cutlery and a rather large birdbath. Still, it counted!
-----Below and before him, the Residential District began to approach at incredible speed, yet not so fast as to obscure the layout of the field. Several buildings already had collapsed, and the fire was beginning to spread. Following the orders that had been given him would prove a difficult task, but from the amount of people rushing to the fires, and the rising steam that came from them, it was obvious that the fires were being fought. That would likely mean that innocents were still being evacuated, but that wasn't entirely certain, and would require double checking. Scanning quickly the ground below, he saw a girl make some sort of handsigns, and then speak to a man nearby, something that looked...familiar. Could it be...yes, it was! Opening his mouth, Wanryoku let out a thunderous bellow to hopefully catch someone's attention. "Sam-uru!" The voice exploded outwards like a much unwanted blast of flatulence into a rather inconveniently positioned flame, and would surely grab attention no matter what. Chuckling to himself even as he made ready to go past the burning wreckage and slam into the building across from it, he had a moment to consider the heat that rustled his jimmies from below. It brought to mind those cold winter nights when grandmother I'sofar would knit together the warmest pair of undergarments to snuggle and ensure the survival of one's ba-
-----There was a resounding crack as Wanryoku plowed face first into a near-invisible diamond wall, his arms and legs splayed out across the beveled surface in what would be called "spread eagle". And oh boy, did he spread it, as the shape also caused the force of the collision to crush a rather important, awe-inspiring part of his anatomy. The following noise was one every male was sure to not only recognize, but understand, as it was a noise that was nothing less than the sounding of the loss of something vital, a pain that was beyond mere words. It could, and would, only be expressed in the most primal of methods: a breathy screech that seemed to come from a parched throat. Surely, every male in attendance would take a moment and observe a moment of silence for their fallen brother.
-----Or it would have, had Zangai not slammed into him from behind, all two thousand pounds of its weight pressing his already precarious position into the levels of Satan's Playhouse gone wrong. Screams, screeches, pained yowls and whimpering simply did not do this justice as Wanryoku slowly slid down the surface of the diamond dome, the latter squeaking rudely as he did so. No, there was merely a mewling cry, one that bespoke a rather unfortunate future singing Soprano in the choir.

[✠]The pink haired shinobi's attempts were pointless. Even as she constructed the diamond dome, Samuru watched the rest of the house fall apart around it. Standing, Samuru didn't say anything in response to her comment. If the Anbu said no one had answered...then by now it was pointless. He started to turn away but a weird noise caught his attention and he looked up in time to see Wanryoku blast by, screaming his name. Taking a step out of the way, just in case, Samuru watched him slam into the dome. And yes, any normal sympathetic male would have shared Wanryoku's pain but Samuru wasn't sympathetic in any sense of the word. He backed up as more of the flames screamed higher and the heat rolled off the district in angry waves "Your hairs going to catch on fire soon." he informed Wanryoku, his face blank and weary, not the usual empty mask of emotionless reflection.[✠]
