"Well, at least the gates haven't changed at all." Shun walked toward the gates, looking almost completely different from when he had left a year before. "Hold it, kid. Name, rank, and village." The ANBU stopped him at the gate. "Oh, hey. It's you guys. Well, the name is Shun Arashi. I'm a chuunin and I'm offended that you guys don't remember me. I mean, come on! I'm from this village, ya goofs!" He grinned at them. "Oh yeah. You're that kid that can't stop grinning. Welcome back." They opened up the gate for him and went back to their post nearby. "Okay then. I should go see the Raikage now. She probably wants a status report."

Shiro walked up to the gate guard and showed him the C-rank mission to train in the wilderness with someone. "My friend and I will be heading to the mountains to train." Shiro said simply as he headed to a place to rest his back, while waiting for Shu. As soon as Shu was there Shiro would begin his walk to the mountains of lightning country.

Shiro came back with his shoulder dislocated, and a few cuts and bruises. Shu got their before him but due to the build of a kaiser fist user his body didn't succumb to injurys yet along his back and leg. He said hi to the gate guards and made his way to find Sukai to heal.

Shiro's eyes turned to Takeo, "Oh no... maybe if I don't move he won't notice me." Shiro thought tilting his head down and trying to be as inconspicuous as posible, as his thought continued, "Don't move... His vision is based on movement if I don't panic he won't notice me." His eye kept looking to see where Takeo was but he didn't move his head trying to hide in plain sight.

Somehow Zori came after Takeo, though she left a good amount of time before he did. It wasn't too big a surprise, he was jounin rank, after all. She walked up to the gates, seeing Shiro hide behind a tree. He was in a good place to hide from Takeo, but surely not from anyone walking to the gates. "Uh, Shiro? What are you doing hiding from our teacher?" Zori asked, knowing there would be some sort of response from Takeo. "We're going on a student-teacher trip to Takumi. He didn't let some other guy come with us, but I'm pretty sure he'll let you come." Although it was sort of mean, Zori was a bit glad Demetri didn't come along. She hadn't had some team bonding time in a while. And by team bonding, of course she meant Takeo yelling at the genin while they did whatever he was yelling about. Oh, what a beautiful relationship.

Sukai walked up to the gates seeing Takeo-sensei and Zori. She smiled at Shiro trying to hide from their Sensei. It felt weird letting her long snowy hair down upon her back. Sukai had gotten new clothes; clothes that suited her better than that drafty outfit she had before. Taking out her white lotus clip enabling her hair to stay up, she now had two feather clips on the sides of her head. Flipping her hair off of her slightly with the back of her hand she then tied the choker with the oni horn piece on it to her neck. This way she could keep a piece of Sakaki with her always. With a semi-sad face she touched it lightly, shaking the somber feelings of her dead brother away. "Hey guys, so when do we leave?" She asked giving Takeo-Sensei a side glance, her mind drifting off to her clone and what it was up to in the creator ruins.

Shiro blinked at Zori, "Cover blown re-re-re-re-re-" He said unable to finish the word retreat when he saw Sukai. His eyes looking at her from head to toe as his blush returned, "We-were they always-" he shook his head to erase is thoughts of where is thought was going, as he walked up to Sukai. "W-wow..." Shiro was speechless, he even forgot that Takeo was a mere five steps away. "A-are you really Sky? The shy Sky that always wore a trench coat..." He said blinking, not believing this girl was the same girl from a year ago.

Sukai blinked at Shiro for a moment as he walked up to her tongue tied. "Hi . . .Shiro." She didn't know what was wrong with him but it made her laugh lightly as she smiled at him. "Yes? . . . . It's me alright, still shy. . .somewhat I guess. Just minus the trench coat since I accidentally left it in my room when I was getting some stuff." Sukai glanced back at the village over her shoulder as she spoke of leaving the trench coat behind. Looking back at him she tilted her head some to the side. "Are. . .you okay?" She asked softly looking at him blushing, sure even back then Sukai was highly developed which wasn't a surprise that she just grew more. Figuring he was shocked at what her body actually looked like from under the coat she always had loosely draped over her body giving it no shape at all of her features. It toke a lot to keep her from blushing deeply, it was obvious that it could possibly mean that she was pretty? That was outrageous though, wasn't it? Either way if Shiro liked her for who she was emotionally and physically then she was fine with it.

Subtlety was not his strong suit, nor was understanding, but vicious bluntness had its merits. Takeo just had yet to discover those merits. Either way, he bid the guards to open the large gates, which they did, and allow the team to leave. It was around the time of the gates swinging open that the caravan, a small, motley assortment of animals and carts, and one rather ugly carraige, trotted along. It smelled horrible, and the men and women driving the thing didn't look very hygienic, or sane, but money was money.

This must be it. Wonderful, I'll be smelling cow s**t all day.

He took solace in the fact that so would his team. With that, he left.
